Mr. Rense,

The following letter appeared in the Sunday Reader section of The Dallas Morning News, September 5, 1999. It was on page 3J under the heading "Waco Firestorm". I checked their website (http://www.dallasnews.comwww.dallasnews.com) but it won`t be posted there until tomorrow.

Army Involved
This is a letter confirming that the U.S. Army took an active role in the seige at Waco. I was stationed at Ft.Hood in the 1st Battalion 8th Cavalry at the time of the incident.

I had friends in the 1st Battalion 7th Cavalry who confirmed that their unit took part. The armored vehicles in the videotapes that are part of the public record were operated and commanded by active duty soldiers. Does the Bureau of Alcohol, tobacco and Firearms have Bradley fighting vehicles? I don`t think so. If you put out a call to your readers I am sure you will receive hundreds of confirming e-mails by former and current soldiers who are more interested in the truth than slaughtering religious wackos.
