Trump Bashing Goes Global |
|

A previous article said bashing him reached epic proportions. Even
foreign officials are involved, denigrating him, unprecedented against
a private citizen - vying for but not holding high political office. Are Republican party bosses enlisting their support, desperately trying to undermine his campaign, going to any lengths, no trick too dirty to try derailing him? German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel ludicrously called him “a threat to peace” - ignoring Merkel’s partnership with endless US imperial wars and the human devastation they cause. Britain’s David Cameron shares blame, a fascist war criminal masquerading as democratic. He called Trump’s remarks on Muslims “divisive, stupid and wrong,” ignoring his own high crimes at home and abroad, partnering in America’s imperial project. The Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) voted him and Trump Islamophobes of the year. IHRC’s Massoud Shadjareh said “(p)oliticians should be challenging Islamophobia instead of…paying (it) lip service…” Notorious Arab-hating Islamophobe Benjamin Netanyahu issued a backhanded slap at Trump through his office, saying “(t)he State of Israel respects all religions and strictly guarantees the rights of all its citizens.” It’s at war with Occupied Palestinians and its own Arab citizens, raging for decades - Netanyahu the latest in a long line regime racist leaders, exceeding the worst of his predecessors. Pope Francis’ ad hominem attack on Trump was uncalled for, a shameless act, criticizing his comments about building a wall along America’s southern border - ignoring Fortress Vatican, medieval walls surrounding its 44 acres, staying silent about Israel’s Apartheid Wall. Saudi royal family member Alwaleed bin Talal Alsaud called Trump “a disgrace not only to the GOP but to all America.” Former Mexican president Vincente Fox responded to Trump’s call for building a wall along his country’s border and have its government pay for it, saying “I’m not going to pay for that f….ing wall.” Trump demanded an apology, saying “(t)he wall just got 10 feet taller.” Canadian Foreign Minister Stephane Dion rebuked Trump’s comments on Muslims, saying “(i)t’s something that we cannot accept in Canada” - ignoring his country’s alliance with US imperial wars, ongoing against multiple Muslim countries. French Prime Minister Manuel Valls compared Trump to Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Front - ignoring President Francois Hollande’s extended state of emergency, suspending rule of law principles, fascist extremism on the phony pretext of protecting national security. Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders called Trump’s remarks on Muslims “very unhelpful and very discriminatory.” EU countries ally with America’s war on Islam, waging endless aggression, persecuting their Muslim citizens and residents. As a presidential aspirant, Trump’s outlandish comments amount to a war of words. As a private citizen, he hasn’t attacked anyone or persecuted Muslims domestically. Obama and supportive congressional members are guilty of mass murder, along with wrongfully persecuting Muslims in America. Trump’s background is business, not politics. He’s like all the rest, part of the same dirty money-controlled system. Phony war on terror won’t end on his watch if elected president. The only unknown is how far he’ll go. Wait and see, then judge him appropriately if he succeeds Obama. Stephen Lendman lives in Chicago. He can be reached at lendmanstephen@sbcglobal.net.
