Syria Winning the Strategic Battle of Aleppo |

Liberating Aleppo city (Syria’s pre-war commercial hub) and province
are key to achieving military victory in Syria. A longterm struggle continues with no foreseeable end in sight, not as long as Washington and its rogue allies continue supplying ISIS and other terrorist groups with arms, munitions and other aid. Syrian forces aided by Russian air power severed virtually all supply routes from Turkey to Aleppo - a key strategic victory. Government troops continue making steady gains, liberating more areas, keeping plans on track to free all northwestern areas bordering Turkey. A four-year US-supported terrorist blockade of Nubl and Al-Zahraa ended, 70,000 Syrian civilians held hostage under siege now free, horrifically mistreated in captivity. Western media ignored their suffering. According to a Syrian army commander, government troops continue advancing. Terrorists in Aleppo are virtually encircled and isolated. They have a choice: “either surrender or die.” Final stage operations to liberate Aleppo and surrounding areas are underway. Syrian media reported Dahret al-Qaraa, Dahret al-Qandileh and al-Tamoura heights southwest of al-Zahraa liberated in Aleppo province. Syrian and supportive Kurdish forces along with Russian air power consolidated government control over the strategically important Aleppo-Ezaz road - the key Turkish supply route for terrorists. Syrian warplanes bombed their northern and eastern Aleppo province positions, inflicting heavy losses in personnel, weapons and equipment. Slow, steady government advances continue on multiple fronts throughout the country. Assad with vital Russian help is winning the battle of Syria after years losing areas to US-supported terrorists, why Washington wants Russian airstrikes stopped. They continue whatever modalities are agreed in Munich and other discussions. Russia has no illusions about America’s agenda. Sergey Lavrov’s criticized its failure to implement Syrian conflict resolution principles agreed on. It consistently “dodg(es)” cooperating with Russia militarily and politically. Its imperial agenda takes precedence. Russia’s Investigative Committee head Alexander Bastrykin minced no words, calling for an international coalition to confront US-attempted worldwide “dictatorship,” complicit with key Western partners. An urgent new system of checks and balances is needed to confront a global threat, he stressed - including “the gradual exclusion of the US dollar from foreign currency reserves.” Washington and its rogue allies are waging “hybrid war” on Russia, including manipulating oil markets, maintaining artificially low prices by over-producing, and continuing “currency wars.” Putin’s agenda is polar opposite Obama’s, supporting peace and stability, opposing US-led wars of aggression and other destabilizing activities.
