Part 3 - Immigration
Shutdown Now - |
By Frosty Wooldridge |
Let’s make America’s most important task very clear: we do not need nor do we want to add another 100,000,000 (million) legal immigrants. We don’t need them, we don’t want them and we cannot sustain them. We can help them improve their lives in their own countries; but we cannot sustain our own civilization via endless millions of third world immigrants.
Jenny Goldie and Mark O'Connor succinctly articulated that point: "You can't maintain First World living standards with Third World population growth.” In fact, third world cultures degrade and ultimately destroy first world cultures. One look at Paris, France; Amsterdam, Holland; Malmo, Sweden and London, England verifies that reality.
Clarification of “Immigration Shutdown Now”: “The American people want all legal immigration dropped to less than 20,000 annually with compatible immigrants that fit our ethos and want to become Americans, and only those who benefit our country and/or they marry an American and speak English. That means we want all illegal immigration stopped by arresting, prosecuting and jailing employers of illegal aliens. We help all illegal aliens self-deport by taking their jobs and benefits away, and as we catch them. We demand English mandated as our national language. We insist a cessation of Muslim immigration in order to protect our culture, language and way of life. We can’t save the world but we can destroy our civilization. We demand a stable population that allows everyone to live, work and thrive into the 21st century. Especially our children.” FHW
If we continue to add the projected 100 million legal immigrants, we face a scientific reality called: overshoot.
William Catton first introduced it in his groundbreaking book: Overshoot—the ecological basis for evolutionary change. "The greatest contribution of Overshoot is the translation of ecological understanding into terms directly related to our own society's future. Catton has a very good way with words--ghost acreages, Homo Colossus, Age of Exuberance--which serve to make the challenge of the future clear to anyone reading his book."--Warren Johnson, author of Muddling Toward Frugality In part 2, you discovered Garrett Hardin’s “Tragedy of the Commons.” Such clarity cannot be missed when realizing that we face an added 100 million legal immigrants within 30 years. William Catton brings it home further with sobering realities that we cannot continue to “overshoot” our resources if we hope to survive the 21st century as an intact civilization.
“Our day-to-day experiences over the past decade have taught us that there must be limits to our tremendous appetite for energy, natural resources, and consumer goods,” said Catton. “Even utility and oil companies now promote conservation in the face of demands for dwindling energy reserves. And for years some biologists have warned us of the direct correlation between scarcity and population growth. These scientists see an appalling future riding the tidal wave of a worldwide growth of population and technology.” Catton suggests that we cannot stop this wave. He said we already overshot Earth's capacity to support so huge a load. Catton asserts that the technological panaceas proposed by those who would harvest from the seas, harness the winds, and farm the deserts ignore the fundamental premise that "the principals of ecology apply to all living things." These principles tell us that, within a finite system, economic expansion cannot continue, or if it does, it ends in collapse. If we disregard these facts, our sagging American Dream will soon shatter completely. You see, that dream already shattered for those immigrants invading our shores. While we created a stable population beginning in 1970, the third world steamed ahead by adding 80,000,000 (million) more babies net gain annually. They grew the world from 3.5 billion in 1970 to 7.3 billion in 2015.
Now, they want to use us for a “blow-off safety valve.” We can’t continue as their “Mulligan” golf shot. They need to solve their own problems in their own countries. We can only help them if we survive as a viable country.
What about our overshoot? Inspect these headlines about California’s water crisis:
“California Is Turning Back Into A Desert And There Are No Contingency Plans” by Michael Snyder
“California A Food Powerhouse In Peril” by Eric Tavares
“Visualizing The American Water Crisis” by Tyler Durden
“U.S. At Risk Of Mega - Drought Future” by Jonathan Amos
“The Colorado River and the civilization it waters are in crisis” by The Economist staff writer
Note that California adds 1,654 people, net gain, and daily on its way to adding 20 million—to grow from 38 million to 58 million within 30 years. Also note that 98 percent of those added people arrive from legal and illegal immigration. At the same time, the U.S. Congress dumps 100,000 legal immigrants on communities across our country every 30 days. (Source: www.CapsWeb.org)
Our “overshoot” problem in 2015 reflects our current situation with seven states experiencing water shortages today. By 2050 with 100 million more immigrants, “solutions” won’t save us. Our kids face a degraded future. In fact, we face an ugly future.
Definition of slogan: “Immigration Shutdown Now means the American people want all legal immigration dropped to less than 20,000 annually with compatible immigrants that fit our ethos and want to become Americans, and only those who benefit our country and/or they marry an American and speak English. That means we want all illegal immigration stopped by arresting, prosecuting and jailing employers of illegal aliens. We deport all illegal aliens by taking their jobs away and as we catch them. We can’t save the world but we can destroy our civilization. We demand a stable population that allows everyone to live, work and thrive into the 21st century. Especially our children.” FHW
That’s why you need to take action. Send this series to everyone in your network. Educate them. Urge them to take action by joining these websites to become faxers of prewritten letters and phone callers. We must force Congress into an “Immigration Shutdown Now.”
