While this America
settles in the mold of its vulgarity,
I sadly smiling
remember that the flower fades to make
You making haste on
decay; not blameworthy;
But for my
children, I would have them keep their distance
And boys, be in
nothing so moderate as in love of man, Robinson Jeffers, 1925
Because there is a relevance between the images of so long ago and what has happened to the world because of the last 65 years of WAR, brought upon us by the Shadow-Government of the US and Israel this cycle of death and destruction needs to end before it ends the entire world. These two images and the poems that fostered them, came from articles I wrote in 2007. The articles have disappeared but the images from the triptych and the poems published in 1973 still remain. |
