Worldwide adventurer Frosty Wooldridge has written the first of its kind book on how you can switch from dreaming to living yourdreams. One high school senior, after hearing the program said, "This has been the best hour of my entire four years in high school. Thanks for the lessons." One baby boomer said, "This is the most fascinating book I've ever read. I'm going for it!"

MOVE YOURSELF INTO THE ADVENTURE OF YOUR LIFE

Adventure calls you. It beckons you to try something new, a unique experience or travel to some unknown destination. Your adventure quest might be securing a spot on a sports team, creating a painting or taking off on your first camping trip. As you grow older, adventure may appeal to your own primordial "Call of the Wild." If asked what you would do with a million dollars, you might answer, "Travel!"

Instead of wishing, hoping or waiting until retirement, How to Live a Life of Adventure shows you how to step into your dreams. No matter if you are male, female, young, single, married with kids, middle-aged or retired, you will get an exciting shot in the arm for finding and fulfilling your hunger for adventure-in whatever form you choose.

Much like you, he started out with an ordinary life. As a farm boy, he milked cows. He threw newspapers seven days a week on his paper route. He washed dishes and flipped burgers at a fast food joint. He served as a pool cleaner and life guard. He learned how to scuba dive and bicycle tour. From there, he created a plan for exploring the world. He created a bucket list of adventures to pursue in his life. In this book, he shows you how to pay for and live your own adventure list.

What is adventure?

Adventure offers every human being the ability to live "the" moment of his or her most passionate idea, fantasy or pursuit. It may take form in the arts, acting, sports, travel or other creative endeavors. Once engaged, a person enjoys "satori" or the "perfect moment." That instant may last seconds or a lifetime. The key to adventure whether it is painting, dancing, sports or travel is to throw yourself into your quests with rambunctious enthusiasm and zealous energy. Your exploits will lead you toward uncommon passion for living. By following that path, you will attract an amazing life that will imbue your spirit and fulfill your destiny as defined by you alone. In the end, you will savor the sweet taste of life pursuing goals that make you happy, rewarded and complete. As a bonus, you may share your experiences with other intrepid human beings who laugh at life, compare themselves with no one and enjoy a fabulous ride!

DISCOVER YOUR PASSION, YOUR JOY, YOUR PURPOSE

Wooldridge shows you how to step into an extraordinary life of your choice. He instructs you on how to find your passion, your purpose, your strengths and your creative brilliance. Rather uniquely!

"If you endeavor to live like you mean it, to aspire to show up with passion and purpose, and take your being to maximum heart rate in mind and body-please allow Frosty to coach, inspire and guide you. How to Live a Life of Adventure will rock your body and soul, and enliven within you your belief and practice of living like you mean it-with passion and purpose." Dr. James Rouse, world traveler, Founder of Optimum Wellness Media.

"This book is extraordinary. The information is so valuable that it should be read daily for inspiration and guidance. I feel like the author is right beside me all the way, guiding me to a successful, happy life. You can tell that Mr. Wooldridge is real and genuine and it comes across clearly in his book. It's great to read a book by someone who actually puts his own advice into practice. There is so much valuable information! I had to stop myself from underlining every sentence in the book. The author makes it clear that one does not have to enjoy the same adventures as he does. He makes the great point that whatever it is we desire, is our own valid adventure. No matter what it is, this book will give us the instructions, the reasoning, and the encouragement to lead a life of fulfilling adventure." Susan Scollozi

"Frosty Wooldridge is one remarkably passionate individual. I'm glad he's a friend that allows me to participate in some of his tamer adventures. In How to Live a Life of Adventure, he raises the lid on a treasure trove of fascinating challenging experiences. You will be inspired by the retelling of his adventures and guided by his bountiful advice. He shares what he's learned after undertaking a cornucopia of challenges around the world. If you choose to follow the advice contained in his book, you'll never look back and be disappointed by the things you never tried. You will have transformed the course of your own life." -- Bob Johannes, Chrysler Corporation executive

"After reading the first 20 chapters, I was ready to go out and tackle a grizzly bear, wrestle a sea lion and climb Mount Everest.
Wooldridge takes you where you want to go! Not only does he inspire you to take adventures, he shows you how to do it. He wraps you around his little finger with some of the most amazing tales on the planet. While I loved the educational aspects of the book, I couldn't stop reading the adventures between every chapter. If I could live a tenth of his life, I'm signing up today. I loved how thorough he was with references, key points and guides." -- Roger Hamilton, teacher

"It's nice to know that a farm boy can dream big dreams and live them. I loved his references to average people living amazing lives. I've always thought that only rich people can live extraordinary lives. Mr. Wooldridge shows how the "little guy" can step into his dreams. He gave easily understood concepts and practices to make our dreams come true. My wife read the book from cover to cover because it addresses women's issues, too. We will use his concepts for our kids." -- Keith and Linda Bruett

I love how he summarizes each chapter with the key points for easy reference, making it easy to run out the door in the morning with some great one-liners to practice throughout the day.

The hardest thing I found about expressing my opinion on the book was narrowing down the multitude of good things I wanted to say about it. I love that the author actually tells the reader specific things to do instead of leaving us with ambiguous ideas that may leave us in limbo. Mr. Wooldridge brings the world to us with phenomenal quotes from famous people, and then expects us to go out into the world, and experience our own life-changing quotes. I want to buy this life-changing book as a gift for everyone I know, especially my kids. This book is just what I needed. It defeats the "aging process," opening the door to a successful, active, positive life and retirement. I love how the author gives relatable examples. I wish I'd read this book forty years ago. But you know what? It doesn't matter because after reading it now, I realize that everything is still available to me.

It's mine for the taking. Even though my kids are grown and I am older, they see a youthfulness in me that enlightens them and encourages them to never give up on an attainable, rich life. I look back at all the great ideas I once had, never believing I could bring them to fruition. Loving parents, who thought it better to prepare me for disappointment rather than success, stifled an untapped potential. This book makes me realize that those dreams were all possible if only I had believed in myself. Today, I do and I am 100 percent convinced that my new dreams will come true."  --Susan Scollozi, traveler and aspiring writer

"Very, very, very instructional as well as inspirational. I could tell the author knew exactly what he was talking about. He knows his stuff. I've traveled around the world myself. I wish I had this book to guide me in the first place to save me money, time, frustration and heartache. Wooldridge brings the "extreme" down to "do-able" by anyone. He gives intelligent methods and choices for people to follow. I loved the adventure stories."  --Jack Modell, businessman

"Listen up ladies! I am a tomboy and I like traveling and playing sports. I'm also sassy and bold. The author of this book addresses women who love to try everything once, twice and more. He covers everything women need to know about traveling, mountain climbing, rafting, windsurfing, para-sailing and much more. He gave me countless ideas. I'm going to use them."  --Sarah Gingrich, rodeo cowgirl

"How to Live a Life of Adventure is about living an exciting and adventuresome life. Few books embrace the innermost nature of their author like this work. A book can only speak a message that has first been imbued by its author. In a sense, a book is a look into a writer's soul. This work is more than an instructional manual or a mere recounting of a process; much more. It is personal, intimate and relevant. In that regard, Wooldridge gives us that unique and rare giftpermission to do. In the words of Yoda in Star Wars, "Try not! Do! Or do not! There is no try."  --Ken Hampshire, president of Advanced Health Group

"Hands down! This is one of the best adventure books I have ever read with stories from all over the world. But wait! Wooldridge shows you "how" to go adventuring so you can make your own stories and fill your own scrapbook with memories. It's excellent in every way."  --Paul Margeletta

"How could anyone pack so much living into one life time? Funny thing is you can do it yourself. This author shares his secrets on making money, finding adventure mates, planning and preparation. He dots every "i" and crosses every "t" for you. He presents excellent information for women adventurers. Nice balance!"  --Sandra Hopkins, housewife

"Life is meant to live and not waste. Wooldridge nails it in this "can't put it down" book just as he does every time I book him for a radio show. His insight to the passions of living make this a must read. Just as Columbus maneuvered across the Atlantic Ocean, Wooldridge maneuvers readers to an understanding of living life to the fullest and creating their own adventurous lives."  --Tom Danheiser, producer, Coast to Coast AM

"Wooldridge is one of a small number of people who understands the vast forces that are now acting upon our planet and the changes they will bring to all our lives. Much of his knowledge has been gained from his extraordinary treks by foot and bicycle across six continents. In this book he offers the reader both the knowledge and wisdom of living adventurously. He shows you how to live a remarkable life."  --Bromwell Ault, 80 year old traveler

"As a lifelong aging adventurer, I see far too many of my friends and family reaching the "winter of their lives" and once again repeating that practiced mantra, "Maybe next year." But of course, "next year" will never come. Far too many Americans fall into the life-consuming conventional false promise of the illusive American Dream. Frosty Wooldridge cuts through all the junk in his latest book and demonstrates through real experiences, that an affordable fulfilling life of wonderment and adventure is waiting just outside all of our doorsteps. Take this easy two-step plan, read the book and then go do it. It's your life; live it."  --Mike Folkerth, Alaskan bush pilot and world traveler

"Can it be true that this man was born in the land of the couch potato? Can one man live the lives of ten ordinary people? Wooldridge is that man. He shares multiple lifetimes of experience to inspire others to break the mold to find their own way. Ride, walk, pause, gaze, consider, enjoy and start again with Wooldridge. You cannot live through this book without inhaling extra oxygen. Give the book to your kids and hear them thank the man who wrote it!"  --Eric Rimmer, United Kingdom

"Wooldridge is a man who lets nothing stand between him and his vision. This book so invigorates the soul and heart that it is hard to write a review good enough for it.  Take a good look at the staggeringly beautiful cover. Let Wooldridge pluck you right out of the turbulence and turmoil of today's work weary world. Travel with him along the length and breadth of human experience and prepare to be transported to areas of your mind that you probably never dreamed were even there.  His marvelous book will tantalize and challenge you to get up and get going.  This utterly unique American has lived his dreams and unquestionably embodies and reflects the timeless values and passions of our Founding Fathers. It's their spirit which drove this great nation to the legendary and inspirational heights. See what you've been missing in life and learn how easy it is to acquire it.  Let him show you how to embrace your passion and let it lead you to magnificent experiences which are so brilliantly reflected in the breathtaking grandeur of this book's unforgettable cover.  It is never too late to discover more of what LIFE is supposed to be about...and thanks to Wooldridge, here is your guide, your personal handbook to achieving just that." --Jeff Rense

"Wooldridge loves adventure. From Antarctica to Death Valley and from the Bolivian jungles to Norway's Arctic Circle and from Australia's Outback to climbing the Himalayas. Frosty is peerless in his relentless pursuit of life itself. In this book, he shows you step by step how to create your own life of adventure. Step up and take a sip from Frosty's wisdom and common sense concepts. You are sure to write your own book from your own experiences as you become a painter, musician or world traveler. This book will get you on your way." --Sandy Colhoun, photographer, editor, globe trotter

"How to Live a Life of Adventure is filled with inspirational tales of average people who have lived without allowing anything or anyone to hold them back. There is great storytelling with a sense of humor and more importantly a sense of perspective about what is really possible if we just get off the couch and go do something. Not sure what adventures are out there? There is page after page of adventures organized by state in case you need a little help. There are six practices to help you re-frame your life. Most of us have myths that guide our lives. We can change them. This book will help you do this by following the guidance provided. You will also find 99 of the top adventure books of all time. Not sure what kind of sport/adventure to stretch yourself with? You will find eleven listed. Last and not least at the end of each chapter there is a section which I especially love. The key points are summarized in an easily digestible form. It is likely that I will have to buy another copy. One to use after I wear out the first one." --Reg Gupton, life-long fly fisherman

"This book with its many different stories held my attention from beginning to end. I never realized there were so many adventures awaiting us in this world and all we have to do is choose. I appreciated all the useful information and techniques Wooldridge gave me that will allow me to follow my dreams. I especially liked the section for women and the recommended books. I'm ready for my first 14er. He's got a sense of humor."  --Linda Humphrey

"This book is literally flowing, moving and pure fun to read.  We're on the journey with Wooldridge every moment and he creates an out-of-body experience for the reader."  --David and Deb Martin, long distance touring rider and supportive wife

"I would go on an adventure with Frosty any time. It's bound to be fun. His secrets to adventure will inspire young and old alike.  If you climb to the top of a mountain in winter or summer, you had better be in shape to make the summit with him. Reading Frosty makes me smile as I fondly recall my winter ascents with friends and re-appreciate the richness in my life." --Dr. Jack Alpert
