"Half way through the concepts and practices in this profound book, I realized that the author may have meant to show readers how to live a life of adventure, but it occurred to me that this book shows anyone how to lead a very happy and successful life on a day to day basis. His concepts support mental, emotional, educational and spiritual health. Every kid and adult in America would benefit greatly by reading this book. It's that good." --Arthur Daniels, teacher
"This book is extraordinary. The information is so valuable that it should be read daily for inspiration and guidance. I feel like the author is right beside me all the way, guiding me to a successful and happy life. You can tell that Mr. Wooldridge is real and genuine and it comes across clearly in his book. It's great to read a book by someone who actually puts his own advice into practice. For me, this validates the information. I had to stop myself from underlining every sentence in the book. The author makes it clear that one does not have to enjoy the same adventures as he does. He makes the great point that whatever it is we desire, is our own valid adventure. No matter what it is, this book will give us the instructions, the reasoning, and the encouragement to lead a life of fulfilling adventure. I love how he summarizes each chapter with the key points for easy reference, making it easy to run out the door in the morning with some great one-liners to practice throughout the day. The hardest thing I found about expressing my opinion on the book was narrowing down the multitude of good things I wanted to say about it. I love that the author actually tells the reader specific things to do instead of leaving us with ambiguous ideas that may leave us in limbo. Mr. Wooldridge brings the world to us with phenomenal quotes from famous people, and then expects us to go out into the world, and experience our own life-changing quotes. I want to buy this life-changing book as a gift for everyone I know, especially my kids. This book is just what I needed. It defeats the "aging process," opening the door to a successful, active, positive life and retirement. I love how the author gives relatable examples. I wish I'd read this book forty years ago. But you know what? It doesn't matter because after reading it now, I realize that everything is still available to me. It's mine for the taking. Even though my kids are grown and I am older, they see a youthfulness in me that enlightens them and encourages them to never give up on an attainable, rich life. I look back at all the great ideas I once had, never believing I could bring them to fruition. Loving parents, who thought it better to prepare me for disappointment rather than success, stifled an untapped potential. This book makes me realize that those dreams were all possible if only I had believed in myself. Today, I do and I am 100 percent convinced that my new dreams will come true." --Susan Scollozi, traveler and aspiring writer
"After reading the first 20 chapters, I was ready to go out and tackle a grizzly bear, wrestle a sea lion and climb Mount Everest. Wooldridge takes you where you want to go. Not only does he inspire you to take adventures, he shows you how to do it. He wraps you around his little finger with some of the most amazing tales on the planet. While I loved the educational aspects of the book, I couldn't stop reading the adventures between every chapter. If I could live a tenth of his life, I'm signing up today. I loved how thorough he was with references, key points and guides." --Roger Hamilton, teacher

"How to Live a Life of Adventure is about living an exciting and adventuresome life. Few books embrace the innermost nature of their author like this work. A book can only speak a message that has first been imbued by its author. In a sense, a book is a look into a writer's soul. This work is more than an instructional manual or a mere recounting of a process; much more. It is personal, intimate and relevant. His insight to the passions of living make this a must read. He shows you how to live a remarkable life." --Bromwell Ault, 80 year old traveler

But of course, "next year" will never come. Far too many Americans fall into the life-consuming conventional false promise of the illusive American Dream.
