- Here is the last (meaning: most recent) letter of Muammar
Qaddafi to us. He is still fighting, though his fortress and palace was
destroyed by NATO and looted. The battle for Tripoli is far from being
over and the latest reports speak of green flags and pictures of Qaddafi
being displayed again. It will be a miracle if Qaddafi will succeed to
repulse the NATO invasion, but miracles happen.

- He appears a tragic figure, somewhat similar to the Ethiopian
emperor Haile Selassie who bravely defended his mountainous land against
Italian invaders in 1930s. Despite much public support, Ethiopians were
defeated; still the exiled emperor was treated like royalty in the League
of the Nations. In 1930s, the West was not united, now it is.

- The Western armies are not omnipotent, they can be defeated
as they were defeated in Algeria and in Vietnam. The difference is that
now we have no Soviet Union; this great defender of the oppressed is gone.
Now NATO has a powerful weapon - al Jazeera, the channel of the oil sheiks,
that gained trust of Arabs by its coverage of Gaza in order to betray this
trust in Libya and Syria. Still, defeat and victory depend on the soldiers

they are gone. Prepare yourselves by forming committees, openly or in secret,

allows torture, rape, theft? No! That is not the sharia, ignoring all that
is in the Quran.

you. I promise the world, the millions who have me in your hearts, that
I am fighting to the finish.

How will you cross the deserts to Libya. Instead group yourselves where

for it. Prepare traps for the invaders. You must defend your corners.

a few centers of cities. They often provide no services and the people
live without them. They will not stand in your way when the time comes.
They are poor. They have been robbed by the racists, the colonialists,
white thieves from the north. Oppose them only if they oppose you. Be prepared.
