- New Jersey UFO Hoax Was A Good Thing ?
-
- Dan Aykroyd finds that the New Jersey UFO hoax was a
good thing ? He says it is a good thing, meaning the UFO hoax as it brings
more attention to real cases, this while signing vodka bottles
for his many fans.
-
- Well personally speaking, Dan's comment is a little out
there as far as I see it. It is tough enough to try to figure out at times which
reported sighting is a hoax or the real deal. Now having Dan say this,
he certainly is not at all helping the UFO field. I personally worked my
butt off and drove hours and hours, spending alot of my own money going
to meet folks who "claimed" they had a UFO/alien encounter. After
visiting with some of these people, nothing happened and I wasted time
and money which could have been better spent on a real honest sightings.
I certainly was not a happy camper and I sure don't find promoting the
idea that reporting hoaxes is good for the UFO business.
-
- So to hear Dan Aykroyd come out with a silly and disappointing
statement is beyond me. His comments just do not help and makes me really
angry to say the least.

- Artillery Takes Out Landed UFO At Da Nang, RVN -
Happy Valley In 1966
-
- Date: Between February and July of 1966
- Time: 2:00 - 4:00 a.m.
-
- Location of Sighting: Da Nang, RVN - Happy Valley.
- Number of witnesses: Unknown.
- Number of Objects: Believed to be 1
- Shape of Objects: Unknown.
-
- Full Description of Event/Sighting: Radar track from
Danang, and Aerial observer. Taken out by Artillery fire. More info
if you are interested. Did not get any TDA following the counter fire.
-
- Additional Information:
-
- Hi Brian,
-
- I am guessing you are in British Columbia, or the Pacific
Northwest. Quite a bit out of my normal travel area. Anyway, it is still
good to hear from you and to learn of your organization.
-
- I was in the US Marine Corps, and served in the SE Asia
area during 1964, 1965, 1966, 1968, and 1969. It was during my 1965-66
tour that we were located to the northeast of Da Nang, and I was in an
Artillery Fire Direction Center (FDC). We controlled close to 100 Field
Artillery pieces in the Da Nang area, and could bring about 500 rounds
onto one football field sized spot in about 3 minutes.
-
- I have had some injuries from auto crashes since then
and do not remember just when the incident occurred, but it was between
February and July of 1966. I was on the late night shift and we got a
call from the air base that a UFO had come in and landed at a set of coordinates
generated by the GCA Radar. These plotted out in an area that we referred
to as "Happy Valley." The IFF response had been un heeded and
the radar and visual tracking from an airborne craft in the area did not
match any known aircraft. Since we were close to the DMZ, no one wanted
to take any chances and we were given clearance to fire all available artillery
on it. We had about 70+ pieces that could range the target so we plotted
a time on target mission and fired 6 rounds per piece on the target.
-
-
- The GCA radar kept watch on the area and the observer
stayed a safe distance out of the lines of fire. We got the usual artillery
bursts and at the end of the barrage there was a huge flash that registered
on the GCA radar. The air observer reported that nothing had left the
area, and it was too dark to look for damage until sunup. We filed the
fire mission request and record of fire with the other log sheets and had
been advised that a ground crew was going in for TDA at first light. When
we came on shift 2 days later we looked for the record of fire sheet to
see what the ground crew had found.
-
- We were amazed to find that the entire set of records
for that mission had vanished. No one would admit to being told to pull
it and we never did find out what we had hit other than the initial comments
that had come back to us while we were firing on the target. I still have
no clue what we shot. It was big and got a lot of people excited. No
other sightings were reported in our area that I heard about before I left
in August of 1966. This has always been a puzzling experience, wandering
around in the back of my mind. I have often wondered if we had in deed
taken out an extraterrestrial space craft, and how badly we had irritated
whom ever it belonged to.
-
- Sorry I don't have more or better descriptive information
on the craft or the post attack findings.
-
- Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell this
story. I would be interested in hearing about any thing that may have
been found out about this incident as it has been bothering me for over
40 years now.
-
- Thanks, and best wishes to you.
-
- Additional Information:
-
- Maybe there is more there than I realize, but I think
your interview would be quite short. My involvement in this was minimal,
albeit that I was an excellent FDC data computer and chart operator --
took out a 3ft. wide suspension bridge with 2 shots once at 14,000 yards
with an aerial observer, Australian Chap, and a darn, fine one at that!
Never did get to meet the fellow, just a voice on the radio.
-
- I would appreciate hearing about any other information
that may surface on this one. I think I still keep one eye out over the
brush any time I go out. Had to have really irritated someone!
-
- Back about 1983 in December, I was flying back to St.
Louis, from Phoenix, for a week of training, and we were routed through
the Denver airport. We
- were in the four corners area (AZ, UT, NM, CO) and I
was looking out the window, Rt. side, a couple of rows behind the wing,
-- always like to see where I am going and what is on the ground, if possible
-- We were at about 34,000 ft, and there was some cloud cover at about
25,000 - 28,000 ft. I was watching the terrain transition as we came out
of the NE Arizona barren landscape, and suddenly became aware of a large
dome-shaped object at about
- 29-30,000 ft. It appeared to be shaped similar to a
State capitol building, except it had a lot of antenna arrays on it. The
bottom that I could see, appeared to be flat. It was hovering for about
20 seconds and then it descended slowly into a cloud bank. I did not see
any flashing lights, or moving parts. It was a dull silver-gray color.
It was just a surprising.
-
-
- The antenna arrays were the most surprising thing to
me about the surface of the object. I felt no rush of excitement or panic,
just marveled at the size and appearance. I was looking at the object
at about a 10 degree down angle and estimated that it was about 1 - 1 1/2
miles away. I would guess that it was about 75 ft. wide and about 45 -
50 ft. high. I was wide awake and I don't drink or use mind altering drugs
-- legal or illegal. I have never seen another unidentified object in
the air. This was really a strange experience.
-
- Anyway, that is the extent of my UFO mystery experiences.
Best wishes to you and your group. Maybe one of these days we will get
it all sorted out!
- Best wishes to you.
-
- My many thanks to this gentleman for sending in this
amazing report.

- Khabarovsk Russian Federation Large Red UFO (Diagram)
-
- Date: 1988
- Time: Late evening.
-
- Number of objects: 2
- UFO in Khabarovsk (Russian Federation)
-
- It was year 1988. Late evening. The sky was already dark.
The moon was full from the East, but when I looked in the direction of
West Sky, I saw "another Moon". Yes, it was the same size as
the Moon, but red color. It looked like a piece of plasma, or something,
that produced a slight illumination around it's surface. The Photoshop
image shows it, as I have seen... I don't remember how long it was hanging
motionless, but soon it begun to change it's outlines. It seemed to me,
the object begun to rotate. The strange black strip in its' middle was
moving. Then a small "ball" came out of it and disappeared beneath
the horizon. After that, the large one also got smaller and disappeared
in the sky.
-
- The UFO hanged above the Amur River. And those, who watched
it closer, are telling, they saw a circle reflection on the water surface.
It means, it was hanging not high enough.

- (sent: "The 7th Guest")

- Thank you for attention!

- UFO In Gorlovka (Ukraine)
-
- Date: Summer 1995/1996
-
- Year somewhere 1995-96. I will not remember more precisely.
Here co-ordinates (somewhere above this place they flew from my view point)
- 48°20'16.16"N 37°58'3.84"E.
-
- They were twirled about five minutes as on the picture
1. Then in turn, very quickly, disappeared "pithily" (pic. 2).
If to trust other eyewitnesses, an UFO was observed approximately 2 hours(!),
periodically disappearing and appearing, changing the location on 200 and
more than meters. Talked, that someone wanted to take a camera, but not
had time ))
-
- It was in summer near 8-9 evenings.

- Columbus, Ohio Missing Time
-
- Date: 1997
- Time: 8:30 a.m.
-
- Location of Sighting: Columbus, Ohio USA
- Number of witnesses: 2
- Number of Objects: No objects.
- Shape of Objects: No objects.
-
- Full Description of Event/Sighting: This is a strange
encounter to me and it happened to me. My wife and I was traveling from
Portsmouth, Ohio to Buffalo, New York. Just as we entered Route 270 off
of Route 23 in Columbus both my wife and I lost consciousness until we
regained our senses about 7-8 miles down the highway. We looked at each
other very confused, we checked to see if we missed an exit or where we
were, but we traveled with our van, we just didn't remember any thing.
Really nothing changed in our life I can put my finger on. I have been
told I should be hipmitized and I would like to try that and see just what
happened.

- Santa Cruz, California Multiple Spheres Photos And Footage
-
- Date: 11/04/2007
- Time: 10:13 to 10:15 a.m.
-
- Location of Sighting: Santa Cruz, CA, USA
- Number of witnesses: 1
- Number of Objects: Multiple.
- Shape of Objects: Spheres.
-
- Full Description of Event/Sighting: Two separate sightings:
-
- Number 1 Sighting: Photos at:
-
- This is the leading-edge of a storm front that was coming.
As I watched the clouds getting nearer, I noticed a bunch of white spheres
flittering about, in and out of the leading edge of the clouds. I ran into
the house and grabbed my camera which is equipped with a 70-300mm telephoto
lens and captured these images.
-
- The spheres were at different altitudes and traveling
at different speeds, making impossible maneuvers for any conventional aircraft
to accomplish. They were lining-up in front of the cloud's edge before
getting a "running start" when entering the clouds, gaining speed
very fast in a short distance. Sometimes one at a time, sometimes several
at once, like they were competing. Then emerge slowly through the top
of the clouds and back over the front edge. And then go through the process
again.
-
- I observed this for about 5 minutes and then they entered
the clouds and didn't emerge. Altitude was much to high for our seagulls
and I can distinguish birds from animate objects. These were definitely
round, didn't have wings and were traveling too fast to be birds. Judging
from the altitude, I would guess their size to be between 2-3 meters in
diameter.
-
- LIDAR graph showing cloud-ceiling height in kilometers
on 11/04/2007, Santa Cruz, CA when I took these photos at 10:13-15am. At
10am, ceiling was about 1 kilometer.
-
- Number 2 sighting: Video and frame extracts at:
-
- Video of "disk type" object passing through
field-of-view while taking footage of the Moon just after sunrise.

but I don't think were alone.

the sky, they all went outside and saw two bright orange/red lights moving
very slowly, there was a fair distance between the objects and there was
no noise. My mother rang me and told me to go outside to see these strange
lights but within this short time they had disappeared, so unfortunately
I never got to see them. They went back into the house, my mother has a
whistling kettle, which began to whistle without being switched on, which
is very freaky. I wonder if anyone else in Ipswich saw these strange lights
on Christmas Eve?

- UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the
witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if
this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:
-
- Thanks for the reply John,I have checked out the balloon
theory but the object was heading to the west then turned in an easterly
direction as if it was a craft of some sort. There was also the same sighting

the Scottish Sun. I'll get someone to put the footage on the computer for
me and I will email to you mate cheers.

- Ross On Wye, Herefordshire Object Looked Like A Bright
Star
-
- Date: February 6, 2009
- Time: 11:25 p.m.
-
- Number of witnesses: 2
- Number of objects: 1
- Shape of objects: Roundish - looked like a bright star,
only orange in colour.
- Weather Conditions: Perfectly clear night sky. Frost
forming.
-
- Description: Standing by the back door, calling the cat
in last night, I looked up into the clear, starry sky to see an orange
spherical light moving horizontally, North to South across the sky. It
looked to be perhaps half a mile away, maybe 250 - 500 feet up and was
travelling at a constant, steady speed. I strained to listen for an engine
but could hear nothing - other than the distant hum of night-time traffic
on the bypass, which is a mile or so in the opposite direction. It looked
and behaved similarly to the three orange lights which my son and I witnessed
on Christmas Day evening and which I have previously reported to this site
although, if anything, this light was larger and more vivid. I called my
wife to take a look and together we watched it for perhaps a further 10
- 15 seconds until it became obscured by the roof of our neighbor's house.
I continued watching for a while, waiting for it to emerge from behind
the opposite side of the roof, but it failed to reappear.
