Weather Conditions: Clear.   Description: Facing south in car, stopped at stop sign at the 'T' intersection of Pleasant View Rd. and Whitestown Rd.   A very bright elongated shape of light was approximately 30 degrees above the southern horizon at an assumed distance of 1-3 miles away.   The object traveled gently to the left, about the same speed as a commercial jet would travel. The object stopped, and suddenly sped to the right at a speed that was unreal. It stopped and gently hovered again for a few seconds then performed a random pattern of movement that lasted all of 10 seconds. It then moved across the sky again in the opposite direction at an even faster speed than before. At this point the object got slightly larger, which made me assume it had traveled toward us (from my perspective I would assume a half mile closer, but still remaining at an approximate 30 degree angle above horizon). It remained still for less than 10 seconds then flew away from us in a SSW direction, maintaining the same altitude, traveling at a speed that was seriously incredible. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Rectangular, Big As A High Rise Apartment. Full Description of event/sighting: It was the most eerie thing that I have ever seen. I usually like to enjoy the morning for a few minutes before I go to work. So, as usual, I stepped outside to my back step for a few moments. Everything was quiet on this early Saturday morning, just as I expected it to be so in my rural area.     Imagine my surprise, when I seen this huge black rectangle moving very slowly over the general location of the #2 hwy. It was very bizarre. The big black box moved slowly forward while maintaining a slow turn from side to side as its moved forward.     About a year later, my dad and my son were traveling along the #2 hwy. heading west about dusk, when they both spotted the big, black rectangular building traveling over the tree-lines. My son said it had a red light at the top of it. They just kept going and lost sight of it.     I was reminded of this when I seen the Sarnia report of a white box that moved about 300 - 400 feet up in the air. What the heck are these things? HBCC UFO Research - <http://www.hbccufo.org/>http://www.hbccufo.org ---------- Lac La Hache, British Columbia A Almost Blinding Strobe Light Date: End of July, 2008 Time: Late Evening. HBCC UFO Research called a gentleman over his sighting which took place at Lac La Hache, British Columbia. Lac La Hache is located about 16 miles north of 100 Mile House, this 20 km (12 mi.) long lake runs along the west side of the highway with the town site of Lac La Hache on the south east corner. He was in Houston, British Columbia picking up his tool trailer and was heading to his home town of Kelowna, B.C. The man was driving south on Highway 97 just entering Lac La Hache when he witnessed something rather odd. On the left hand side of the road a head of him is a huge log home, it possibly maybe a restaurant. But approximately 150 feet off Highway 97 into the log home's driveway the man saw a intense bright strobe light which was very low in altitude. He said it was so bright that he wasn't able to make out any shape of a structure. The fellow thought it looked rather unusual, but really didn't give it much thought at all. He drove passed the driveway. Anyway the witness made a return trip back to go camping and had to drive by the same area he saw the bright strobe light. He said he saw nothing in the area that would account for the bright light. I should had, he was able to observe the brightness this thing gave off from a great deal of distance back down the Highway. So what this was, well anyone's guess. HBCC UFO Research Note: The above report of this brilliant strobing light could have been anything, but what I have not written up as of yet is what happened to the gentleman on August 31, 2008 when he was on another trip, heading back home to Kelowna, B.C. The next experience is something else and I am taking the report off of the taped conversation I had with the fellow. I hope to have this very soon as long as things don't get to busy. HBCC UFO Research - <http://www.hbccufo.org/>http://www.hbccufo.org ---------- Staten Island, New York An Orange Reddish Flame   Date: August 31, 2008 Time: 10:30 p.m.   Number of witnesses: 4 Number of objects: 1   Sighting in Staten Island, New York August 31, 2008 about 10:30P.M. 4 witnesses We were on our way out of the house and I happened to look up in the sky I saw what looked like an orange reddish flame moving across the sky. I said to the other 3 what the hell is that which they all looked up too. We watched it move quickly across the sky and then after about 100 feet in the sky it disappeared. Weather Conditions: Clear.   Description: Myself and 3 others were walking out of our house when my one friend called out, what's that. We all looked up and saw this object kind of at first looked like a plane on fire the bottom of it had a straight glowing look to it not to be confused with blinking lights. It in fact looked like flames on the bottom. It made no sound and just continued to fly directly over us heading south coming from the north. The object slowly flew off into the distance gradually rising up as it flew away. I have to say I have no doubt that this was some kind of object not of this world or that the public knows about anyway. I'm right there with the last person who reported the same thing a couple of weeks back has anyone else seen this? Weather Conditions: Calm no wind.   Description: I noticed a square very flat object silver on one side black on the other side moving through the air at about 20 feet up. It was gliding along and turning as it did so, there was no noise it travelled across my path then rose higher into the air and changed direction [going away from me now] as it got to its highest point it stopped dead, spun round, picked up speed and shot off into the distance and out of sight.   TV/Radio: Not reported that I know of. UFOINFO <>http://www.ufoinfo.com/ ---------- Toronto, Ontario Unknown Objects Date: September 1, 2008 Time: 5:30 a.m.    Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 3 Weather Conditions: Crystal clear, looking East, sun was just coming up, but not up yet.   Shape of objects: Two semi-round blinking (one just sat still in the air, and the other would go larger (into a circle shape) in a semi "see-through" barrage of colours. A third large craft - triangle (no sharp corners ..but squared) moved silently towards the two then just faded and disappeared as though it dimmed it's lights out. The other two were visible for some time then disappeared.   Description: There is an "air show" going on at the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) and they (UFOs) were just off the edge of the "CNE grounds" ( out on Lake Ontario about a mile or two) . I feel that is why they were "looking around". Am going to look again this morning but I feel they won't be back (there anyway) as the air show is over   TV/Radio: See above or e-mail me. Weather Conditions: Clear.   Description: Walking home, crossing a street when I looked up and saw a large bright object passing fast overhead. Only in view for about 2-3 seconds before it passed behind an apartment building and out of sight. Too large to be a shooting star and had no accompanying tail. No aircraft or helicopter noise, and no navigation lights. Can't come up with an explanation for it. UFOINFO <>http://www.ufoinfo.com/ ---------- Broadstairs Kent, England Seven Round Orange Red Objects Date: September 1, 2008 Time: 8:00 p.m.   Number of witnesses: 4 Number of objects: 7 Shape of objects: Round, orange/red slightly cone shaped to the front. Weather Conditions: Clear and calm.   Description: While standing at my back door having a cigarette after my dinner I looked up and saw 2 objects in the sky. I called my wife and as we both watched, looking towards Ramsgate we then saw 3 more following in the same flight path then came 2 more. Making a total of 7 in all. These were all totally silent and at a height of maybe 4/6 thousand feet - a lot lower than normal flight path. At this point my wife telephoned my daughter and her partner who live in Palm Bay who said they watched them pass by and watched as they went out across the sea at Palm Bay and then disappeared. I am 65 years of age and  have never seen anything like this before. Very strange. Although must have been seen by many people no reports on local radio or T.V. UFOINFO <>http://www.ufoinfo.com/ ---------- Avondale, Arizona Bright Orange Lights   Date: September 2, 2008 Time: 9:17 p.m. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: They were off in the distance. I could only see the bright orange lights. Weather Conditions: Clear skies, night, and hot.   Description: Two bright orange lights in the sky. They would stay still and then the lights would look like they were heading further out and then disappear out of no where. At one point it looked like there were 3 of them. Then about a half hour later I was still outside looking to see if they would come back and the 2 did. This time in another area about 3 miles east from where they were the first time. There was 2 and one disappeared and then the other one disappeared. I took a picture from my phone but its kind of difficult to see.   TV/Radio: more than welcome to report this. UFOINFO <>http://www.ufoinfo.com/ ---------- Edmunds, Suffolk England Unidentified Flying Object Date: September 3, 2008 Time: 9:30 p.m. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1   Shape of objects: Looked like a boomerang shape according to my Mum, I thought it looked exactly like what you see in films or TV - a flying saucer shape, it had a circular dome on top. Mildenhall Estate/Howard Estate, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, United Kingdom. Weather Conditions: Dark, some clouds, a little windy but dry, low temperature.   Description: This U.F.O. could easily be mistaken for a bright star, but observing the other stars in the sky it didn't look like it.   It was in one spot above houses, it was spinning and tilting, the lights changed colour: Red, Green Blue & possibly Purple, also a triangular/laser looking light beam coming from the circular dome on top.   I tried taking a picture but it started moving about, I was unable to get it in picture or video even though me and my Mum could see it through binoculars and to the naked eye, I have a very good mobile camera, I had it in the shot and was leaning against something to steady my hand but the object was moving. It kept disappearing and re-appearing in the exact same spot.   Through binoculars I could see the outline of the shape -- it was curved, a laser like beam emitted from it and then along the bottom edge of the 'flying saucer' shape I saw little Reddish/Yellow spotlights and then a few more of the same lights were sent out in an array.   It is the first time I have seen this sort of thing. UFOINFO <>http://www.ufoinfo.com/ ---------- Sandys Afternoon UFO Sighting - Thompsons Station Date: September 11, 2008 Time: Afternoon sighting.   It was Thursday afternoon September 11, 2008. There were clouds in the sky of various sizes, shapes and at various elevations. I live in the country, and I was returning home from running some errands. I was about to turn left (east) off of the main circular road in my neighborhood onto my street which is a cull-de-sac with my home at the end on the left. The beginning of my street is a slightly higher elevation than at the end of the cull-de-sac, about 400 yards distance. My home is the only home on the street, and the lots in the neighborhood range in size from 2.1 acres and up. At the end of my street there are two white fence lines running south to north which is a horse riding trail, and right past the last fence is a tree line that also runs south to north and borders a farm.   It was about two seconds before I actually turned left that I noticed an object in the south east flying south to north. I had a perfect line of sight view, because from my elevated position the object was above the tree line and below the clouds. I estimated the object to be no more than 1,000 feet in elevation.  The shape of the object appeared to be a combination of cylinder and cigar shape. The object appeared to be two-tone in color, pewter on the bottom half and sliver on the upper half. Neither halves were showing any reflection which I thought was strange since the sun at that time was shining through a break in the clouds from the west.   As I turned onto my street I slowed down and continued to watch the object fly in the same south to north direction. I ruled out commercial airline (too small), military helicopters and planes (wrong color), small private or crop dusting planes (no wings, landing gears, rudder or tail fins). The object was flying at a rather quick pace, but then when the object was right in front of me as I looked straight down my street, the object slowed down quickly and came to an almost dead stop. It was at this location that I was able to see the craft fully from the side and with much better detail. I had all of my windows down in the car (4), and the only noises I heard were the natural sounds emanating from a country setting...No cows were mooing and no horses were neighing. The object length was about the size of a chap stick held between my thumb and first finger at arm's length. I would estimate the distance between myself and the object at less than a mile.   About two to three seconds later the object just vanished. It did not turn left or right, go up or down, or fly backwards...it just vanished from my physical sight. I then drove to the end of the cul-de-sac, turned around and drove to various higher and lower elevations in the neighborhood to see if I could spot the object again. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Circular. Full Description of event/sighting: My 10 year old son was sitting in our backyard patio after baseball practice and was removing his cleats at 9:40 p.m. He looked up and saw some lights. His dad was nearby, so he whispered for him to look up. My son described it as a circle that was silver in color. It was moving slowly in a circular motion, not a straight line. He heard no sound as the object moved passed our house. My husband looked up just as the object was moving past the trees in our backyard. He only caught a glimpse of the lights, since the object was already passing by. He did confirm that it was unusual that he could not hear anything as it fly by. My son came inside and was trembling when he asked me if I believed in UFOs. When I said that I did. He immediately drew a picture for me and described it while he drew it. He drew a circle and then drew the lights as he remembered them at the bottom of the silver object, which was flat. He said there were 3 red squares on either side and then two in the middle (one at the top of the circle and one at the bottom of the circle). There were 8 red squares in all, but he described the 3 on either side as closer together than the ones in the middle. He also drew a square in the middle of the circle which was surrounded by all the red squares. He described it as a panel like a door, but with no hardware such as screws. He thought he saw a faint green light around the door. I promised him that I wouldn't say anything unless someone else reported a sighting in the area around the same time. We are all curious as to how many others may have seen something in the Northwest Houston area. Thank you to the witness for their report. HBCC UFO Research - <>http://www.hbccufo.org ---------- London, Ontario Returning Light Date: September 23, 24 and 25, 2008 Time: 9:30 p.m. HBCC UFO Research Note: The witness for the below report I guess got mixed up and mentions that I was in Brazil at some point in time. Just to make sure things are correct. I have never been to Brazil. It is easy to get mixed up with something, gosh I do it all the time. -:)) Dear Mr. Vike: I read your report about a UFO appearance when you were in Brazil. Well I had access to that because every night at 9:30est I see something related to that. I live in London,ON and my balcony faces to West. For a long time my wife and I see a light that looks like a star but it oscillates while staying in the same point. That light changes it's colours from a basic yellow to red and sometimes blue and green. We can see it at an approx altitude of 20,000 feet. In a couple of times I saw it approaching towards the city and releasing sort of sudden fireworks, once red, the second one time green. When it passed over the city no noise were heard. There is no flashing light like airplanes or choppers. At first I thought it was a meteorological satellite or so. But when I read your report I considered the possibility of a UFO. I have not had the chance to use binoculars, but I am thinking on phoning the air controllers at the local airport to figure out if our every night visitor comes from the outer space. That would be amazing. Please let me know if I am close to that or satellites can be seen as easy as I see that thing. You are the expert. Sincerely. Additional Information: Hi Brian: The object sometimes was stationary but showing erratic movement, other times it moved straight with no sound at all. The most recent dates in which it showed up were September 23, 24 and 25th. While the object appears, I see airplanes passing by, approaching or leaving and their lights are totally different than the rare object. Number of witnesses: 20 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: Round. Full Description of event/sighting: Three round fire red and orange objects traveling at what appeared to be a uniform speed from North to South with the most southerly object fading out first and each following object fading out in succession   A single like object was spotted in the same location approximately 1 hour earlier and was witnessed by the same large party of individuals. The single object was also round , the color of fire and traveled from North to South In both sightings the objects were visible for minutes before fading. Thank you to the witness for their report. HBCC UFO Research - <http://www.hbccufo.org/>http://www.hbccufo.org ---------- Sydney, Australia Could See The Outline Of A Triangle Bluish Plasma Date: September 27, 2008 Time: 01:00 Location of Sighting: Sydney Australia. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 5 Shape of objects: Triangular, round dot. Full Description of event/sighting: The time is around 01:00 AM 27/09/08 Sydney.   While outside my place north western suburbs of Sydney while having a few conversation before my 2 friends headed over to their cars, we all notice the way three stars (bit bright and larger than the other stars around) was perfectly in a straight line about ten minutes later a fourth very faintly appears too. The four of them moved a bit forward (presume it because the other stars remained in same position).   We were talking about what constellation could that be (Southern Cross, big dipper and etc) and then about a few length from the said stars at a 10 o'clock bearing position from it we notice and saw something like a faint, but could see an outline looking like a triangle (at times roundish) - like looking in those bag pouch of diamonds you see in films in a way stars could be bunch together. Then for a second it emitted a bluish type of film around it like plasma similar to the edges of a lightning but wasn't so obvious to the eyes, it just did it ones. The triangular object seems to move backward and forward in a circular motion but could hardly see it except of its blinking type of light as described.   So the two friends had to go but we all observed it for about 20 mins. I went back in to grab a digital camera and remained for around one hour outside my parent's house. With the camera I took a video but don't seem to appear in the video display same with the other object - the camera has a very small focusing ability for distant objects, so all it looks like are stars in a pixilated forms even the still pictures are the same, much worst to the faint triangular object). Then the 4 stars disappeared after passing behind our roof and the triangular lights are too faint to see (this is about closer to 03:00 in the morning).   I also notice previous week and this week were low flying helicopters at night like searching at a length of time. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Round. Full Description of event/sighting: I was out on the porch and noticed two unusually bright stars. I observed them for 30 seconds while they remained stationary. Suddenly, the objects began moving in slightly different directions. I went to get another family member to witness the event and when we came back in ten seconds or so, the objects were gone. HBCC UFO Research - <>http://www.hbccufo.org ---------- Over Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Object Turns From Bluish To Bright Red Date: September 28, 2008 Time: 8:30 p.m. Location of Sighting: Over Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Shape undetermined. Full Description of event/sighting: Hi there, My wife and I were out for an evening walk, and left our house in the Parkridge area of Saskatoon. About 30-40 seconds after leaving our house, I happened to glance up into the sky, looking kind of Southwards. I noticed an extremely bright light brighter than any of the stars moving very rapidly from the West and going East. I told my wife to look at the satellite, but we both thought it was much too bright and moving too quickly to be a satellite. After watching it for approximately 8-10 seconds, it appeared to accelerate very quickly, turned slowly from a bluish white into a bright red color, and then disappeared instantaneously. We also noticed as it travelled from West to East, it appeared to be travelling at an upward angle gaining altitude.     We kept walking, but continued to watch the sky, and approximately 4 minutes after the first sighting, my wife noticed another light travelling in the same direction but it appeared to be alot higher. This one did not appear to turn a bright red like the other, but it appeared to accelerate rapidly, and then also blinked out in an instant.   I don't know alot about satellites, but I don't think they travel West to East in a straight line, I don't think they turn from bluish-white to red, and then disappear and I have certainly never seen one move as fast as these two objects moved. I also stayed outside to observe what I thought were satellites and I noticed they appeared to be higher in the sky and moved very slowly in comparison. They were also not nearly as bright as the objects we witnessed and appeared to move in a clockwise direction along with the earth.   I also observed several planes and/or jets in the sky around the same time and they travelled much differently than the objects we noted. They also had blinking lights, whereas the objects we witnessed did not.   Both my wife and I walk alot in the evenings in the same area and have never witnessed these objects before. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: White circular light. Full Description of event/sighting: I along with my husband and his friend where talking outside having a cigarette and we all seen a small white object pass through the sky. At first I thought it was a shooting star but then realized it was travelling to slow, so we all just watched it continue to move for the next 5 minutes or so. It then slowly stared to fade then a bright flash and then disappeared. I was listening to the radio this morning and found out that other people in Brooks where I live also seen this unexplainable object. Thank you to the witness for their report. HBCC UFO Research - <>http://www.hbccufo.org ---------- Saskatoon, Saskatchewan ISS Sighting Date: September 28, 2008 Time: About 8:10 to 8:30 p.m. Hi, Brian, I was walking home last night (Sunday, September 28) from about 8:10 to 8:30 and watched this bright light as it came up over the western horizon. From it's speed and brightness, I immediately assumed it to be the ISS, which I have seen many times previously. Last night, the transit was from due west to due east and almost directly overhead. It is fairly consistent in the amount of light it reflects back, although I have seen it change in intensity and colour as it passes overhead, a predictable outcome of the way sunlight will be reflected off its solar panels and other surfaces and the amount of atmosphere the light has to pass through to reach the observer. I was pretty sure at the time that it was the ISS. I checked the time, 8:20 p.m., and confirmed the transit on heavensabove.com when I got home. I did not see any other objects or lights pass over during the time that I was out.   The previous two times I saw the ISS, it was visible from horizon to horizon. It was brightest when it was overhead and was noticeably dimmer near the horizons. Last night, however, was different. Since I was walking westward, I saw it early, so I stopped to watch it while standing on a quiet residential street. As with past sightings, it grew brighter as it approached. As it passed overhead, I turned to watch it continue eastward. A few seconds later, I noticed that it took on a slightly reddish hue and began to fade. It faded much more quickly than previous times I have seen it and seemed to grow more reddish in hue as it did so. It then faded in intensity much more quickly than I have seen previously. A few moments later, I lost it in the haze of light pollution that glares from shopping malls, strip malls and other lighting nearby. At times, I almost thought that it was wavering or slightly zig-zagging as it passed overhead, but I attributed this apparent motion to my unsteady stance. If I braced myself, and observed how it approached and passed stars, I could see that the apparent wavering stopped.   I'm pretty certain it was the ISS and not some unexplained phenomenon. I figure that the dimming of it's intensity and the reddish hue were caused by the way its solar panels reflected and refracted the sunlight striking them. Thank you to the witness for their report. Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, Sunday was such a beautiful day and I was enjoying the dusk hour that was settling in. I had looked for Jupiter in the southern sky and it was bright in the dusk sky. I was then looking toward the eastern mountain when my attention was drawn upward. A star like object was dropping down. It was as bright as the planet Jupiter I had just looked at and it seemed to be a little bit bigger, but not much bigger than Jupiter. It stayed bright as it slowly dropped down, or floated down and it lasted about 30 seconds which is a long time when watching something. As it neared the mountain it dimmed right out. I could not see anything anymore. About five minutes later, another star like object began to drop down from about the same area of the sky, but it dimmed out about halfway down. Full Description of event/sighting: This has great similarity to the Fresno, CA report of June 14, 2008, so I thought it would be appropriate to enter this information. Early Monday morning, I had just returned to bed after being up briefly, and suddenly noticed light entering through the bedroom window - while my eyes were still closed. I opened my eyes to see an extremely bright "meteor" to the West of me, heading North or Northwest. I immediately sat up and watched it for several seconds until the light extinguished. Over that period of several (est. 2-3) seconds, it traveled about 25-30 deg. across the sky, which seems a little slow for a meteor. It was far more brilliant than any meteor I've seen before, by at least an order of magnitude, if not two. It maintained steady speed and direction while I was observing it. Its apparent trajectory was descending slightly, and when I first saw it, thought it could be an aircraft in trouble. There was no accompanying sound (although I was indoors, of course). It could have been re-entering space debris, but then that's an odd direction for a satellite to be moving in. HBCC UFO Research - <>http://www.hbccufo.org ---------- Salt Lake City, Utah Two Sightings Date: September 29, 2008 Time: 4:30 a.m. Brian, Was this light in other states? I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. For some reason, I choose to put a search out for any sort of blog. In regards to what I saw. Did other people report seeing? I am interested.   I was awake, couldn't sleep. I walked outside to the street at 4:30 am Monday morning. Walk out to the street and looked up. Again, my position is in the valley of Salt Lake City. When I saw this object, I was facing the Eastern direction. I cannot see the mountains from that spot and direction. So, I know this thing was up above the mountains. This object was stable, it move a little bit to the left. It was very bright. It was not a star. It was not a shooting star.    This was bright, with color of white, blue, red, maybe green light, in different sides of this thing. The pattern of the light was irregular. I didn't stay out long watching, but was interested to see it move.   About a month ago or so, I was driving east bound on I-80 and saw a very unique red streaking light moving very, very fast toward earth. It was fast. It disappeared behind the mountain. In about the same location of where the bright light flashing object I was this morning! I would love to hear more detail about this, if you could.   That red "shooting star" was like anything I have ever seen! This thing had a long tail of light behind it. What ever it was it was big! And, not a doubt in my mind; someone could have found whatever it was that fell from the sky. When I saw this, it had just got dark outside; still a little of light in the sky. It crossed my mind to try to figure out where it landed, to find out what it is.   Brian, I hope this is helpful. I am interested in knowing that what I saw was the same thing that was in Newcastle, WA. Full Description of event/sighting: At about 7:35 pm I was outside having a smoke when I saw in the distance a bright white circular object moving from west to east towards me. I called my sister outside to see what I was looking at (first thing that she said was "that's a UFO". It was moving much quicker then a plane and it appeared to be moving in a zig-zag pattern. We watched it for at least 7-10 minutes. I know it wasn't a satellite because when I first saw it, it was beside a satellite. I know it wasn't a plane because at about 5 min watching it , it passed a plane at about the same altitude ( a private plane I think). I am pretty sure that whoever was in the plane must have seen it ( don't know how you could have missed it). It made no noise it was completely silent. Just after passing the plane it disappeared completely. The only way I can explain the way it looked is, that it reminded me of a headlight in the sky (did not change color or speed). Thank you. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Round (light). Full Description of event/sighting: I just read about the sighting last night (28 Sept '08) by a couple from Saskatoon and our experience was almost exactly the same except we only saw one object moving West to East, quite high and in the North. It was a very large and steady (not flashing), round, bright whitish light, travelling quickly and silently, seemed to be gently climbing and after about 15 or 20 seconds grew steadily dimmer, became reddish briefly, then disappeared. When it vanished it was nowhere near the eastern horizon.     My wife and I both remarked immediately about how strange it was. I found this site trying to find a listing of satellites that could provide an explanation and instead I find a duplicate experience from the night before, a few hundred miles from us, at pretty well the same time of day.     We aren't UFO buffs or anything like that, but enjoy a calm evening and a starry sky when it is comfortable to be outside. Full Description of event/sighting: Over the last 3 weeks, I have seen some amazing events happen right behind my house in front of and in back of the mountain along Route 24. Afraid someone would think I have completely lost my mind, I have only told my boyfriend. At first, I saw balls of light that appeared to be falling stars with red tails behind it, but appearing to landing in the fields or mountains behind my house (2 sightings). At first, I thought it was odd for me to observe 2 falling stars so close together appearing to land in my own backyard. The other night, about a week ago, on a foggy rainy night, my daughter and I witnessed a bright light shining like a big spot light up into the sky from behind the mountain right behind my house. I kept an eye on it until it slowly faded away. All activity had occurred between 9 pm and 10 pm.     Last night, I witnessed a great big ball of white light with a white tail fall out of the sky and disappear behind the mountain. It was so huge I was expecting a crashing noise, but instead a few minutes later, I witnessed a craft with white light, not blinking, flying away towards Concord. This may have been a plane in the far distance and not a UFO, however, it was weird that I would witness that after seeing the "falling star".     I am not sure what is going on, but what I am sure of is that something is going on and by definition, I am seeing unidentified flying objects that I don't think could be falling stars. I don't think falling stars are "choosing" to fall right in front of my eyes to appear actually landing all in the same area. All activity to date has occurred between 9 pm and 10:30 pm.     Please do not print my name. Last night I was waiting around dusk to see if it would happen again. The star like objects did not repeat the actions from the night before, however I did see one come into the atmosphere. I saw a gold streak in the sky way above me, very high up, the streak was about 8 inches long, and at the end of it a star like object flashed a couple of times, like they do around the sky here late at night. Full Description of event/sighting: It was about 12:30am and I went outside for my last smoke and I was looking up to the west in the sky as I usually do, looking for satellites when I spotted this triangle with low light almost yellow/orange on each corner appear out of no where. It was traveling slowly south then veered to the West and it was gone. When I first spotted it, it was travelling slowly and I was able to see it very clearly and detailed. It looked like a pool table rack that you use to set-up the balls and the way it moved was very different from a plane or helicopter, there was no sound what so ever. It moved like a hockey puck on ice! I was able to keep my eyes on it for about 10 seconds. I went back into the house, went on the internet and searched 'triangle UFO' and there it was exactly what I had seen. Thank you to the witness for their report. Hello, I write to you from Pennsylvania in the states. This morning I received a call from my friend who lives in Fort Erie, across the river from Buffalo, NY. She woke early this am and went to her living room window to look out and saw a large triangular shaped craft moving over her area. She said it was coming from the North. She said it had 5 bright lights on it and it was very quiet. As the morning went on, she spoke with others who had also seen it. I have tried to tape into the Buffalo stations to see if it was mentioned to no avail. I think it may have been the same type of craft that I saw in PA in 1992---I was wondering if you have received any reports on this. By the way I Goggled and found you! I live in Welland and was on my way home from work at approximately 10:45pm on Wednesday October 1st 2008. I was driving Southbound on the 406 approaching Welland. I noticed some very bright lights flashing up ahead. There were about 5 alternating lights flashing in a repeating pattern. They appeared to be in a triangular formation. There were also two bright lights flashing to my left approximately a kilometer from the lights ahead of me (Two separate locations). I have been looking in the paper and watching the news to see if there are any comments about it. There hasn't been anything about it. I drive that exact route many times a week. These lights are not a common occurrence. I wonder since these lights were seen on the 23rd of September as well. Is this something explainable? Thank you to the witness for their report.
