As fast as I post a batch, another batch comes in, so I am way behind in getting all the sightings up to the site. So hold on and I will get there. Also a note in which I would like to add since I am here. I received a telephone call from a person here in British Columbia. I was told of a massive cattle mutilation event that took place some years back. The farmer who owned the farm was bought out by the government just after the incident got out. The Canadian government bought the farm out lot stock and barrel as they say. Also the owner of the farm, and all farm hands were given "strict" instructions that they were not in anyway shape or form to talk about the cattle mutilation incident. So I am waiting on more information so I can start looking into the matter. What the heck happened on that farm. I do not plan on giving away the exact location of this event, other than to say it took place around the Kamloops, British Columbia area. Location of Sighting: Lochgelly Fife Scotland, U.K. Number of witnesses: 6 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Egg shape. Full Description of event/sighting: While out dog walking with my friend, (down local farm area) we caught the sight of a microlite aircraft. The pilot was waving his free arm and pointing at the sky (yes he was that low) We looked up and saw a brilliant shining, very bright almost sun like egg shaped object buzzing him as if trying to come at him from every angle, 3 other older men were there and they noticed I had binoculars with me. So we all got a good look at it. I reported it to the local airport. (Glenrothes in Fife where these microlites take off from) At first they seemed very interested in the story and said I'm sure the pilot will have something to say to you about this. I waited a few days and called back. I was greeted with a stone wall of, "go away" we don't talk about this stuff. PS - this craft also went from left to right at massive speed and reappeared as a rounded shaped black triangle, the static in the air was weird i.e.-hairs on the back of our necks and arms stood up, yet birds although flying around the air was silent. I've been interested in UFO/alien life for almost 30 years now. I have seen this craft in the exact area again in January of 2003. This story was in UFO magazine and was investigated by  UFO experts from Scotland and England, but no more information has came forward. Thanks and watch the skies. (Name removed) from Scotland. Weather Conditions: N/A.   Description: In late December of 2002, I was driving north with my grandmother on I-49 through Alexandria, Louisiana. As we passed the exit for Air Base Road, I noticed a strange object of vague, Cylindrical shape hanging motionless in the sky. It appeared to have some form of stealth design, and was oriented west-east. I asked my grandmother if she could see it, and she too confirmed its presence, as did several of the people in nearby cars. Sadly, the traffic conditions did not allow us to pull over, and we had passed the exit.   Reports of similar objects have been made in the Alexandria area during 2002.   TV/Radio: N/A. Hi Brian, In Sept of 2004, I'd hiked to a remote hilltop in San Marcos. To the East Palomar Mountain. The West, not more than 8 miles, the Pacific. It was a weird sultry day, the sky looked milky blue. I had seen an interesting contrail and had my disposable 35mm camera ready. I heard a scraping hissing noise that startled me and became aware of a distinct object that was corkscrewing thru the air, seemingly directly at my hilltop! In an instant it veered away, straightening it's course, disappearing in seconds, while climbing into the distance. I was almost in shock. I realized I was talking to myself in a kind of babble as I tried to grasp what had just taken place.   I did capture the thing on film. It looks like a sword or a cross. It's got a force emanating in a conical pattern from beneath and a silver orb companion I did not see when it passed the hilltop. I have no explanation. Guess it's a UFO! (Brian, I say this is one of the most revealing UFO pictures ever. If someone experienced the event, or has any information as to what took place would you please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at <mailto:hbccufo@telus.net>hbccufo@telus.net Location of Sighting: about 45 miles North of Owyhee, NV in Idaho. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: ? Shape of objects: Behind a cloud. Full Description of event/sighting: My Husband was driving our truck pulling our travel trailer and I was following driving our car. We were headed South on Idaho Highway 51 which becomes Nevada Highway 225 at the state border. We were about 45 miles North of Owyhee, Nevada. It was February 21, 2008, approximately 7:00 PM. We had passed the junction towards Mountain Home Airforce Base, Idaho about 40 miles back. Suddenly up and to my left were two bright glowing lights (flares I believe) drifting my direction. At first before I had time to reason out that they were only flares, I got scared. I hate to drive anyway and especially at night, so I began to flash my lights repeatedly at my Husband to get him to pull over. He did pull off on the first side road that we came to (on the left, East-side of the highway). There hadn't been anyone else on the highway that night (even though the main road from Idaho, South down to Wells, Nevada, was closed due to a 6.0 Earthquake that very morning). After we had stopped, we stood outside and watched the flares just as we had watched the Lunar Eclipse one (or two?) nights prior. As we watched the sky, there began other activity behind a cloud. It appeared to be a few more flares. We could see the orange lights in motion behind the cloud. Then it got scary. A couple of jets came from the West really fast and really low. They made sonic booms that vibrated through us. They went to that area behind the cloud, where we couldn't see, and fired on something. They quickly flew back over us headed the way they had come. Then, two more jets, while we could still see the first two jets lights going away from us, did exactly the same. Sonic booms and what we believe were weapons being fired. That second time there was a huge, huge boom and at the same time it turned momentarily daytime ! Seconds later, two more jets (maybe the first two again ?) went around the other side of the cloud and came back West. From the area in the sky where all the activity was, there came down mostly orange colored streaks and irregular shaped "pieces" trailing what looked like embers behind. We estimated the activity (the object that was fired upon) at about 300 feet up and about 1/4 mile East of the road. I did not want to continue driving separately, but my Husband was very urgent wanting to leave that area and wouldn't let me abandon our car. Before we were back onto the road and heading South again, cars began speeding North on the highway. Two and three at a time. About 18 in all. We began to travel South. After a few miles, there was a "rain" of large leaf sized ashes, like snow drifting slowly down over us. We live in an area with numerous wildfires every summer, and we are both certain it was ash and not snow. Some more miles and we ran into very dense fog. As we got to the small town of Owyhee which is just a little across the border into Nevada, it had begun to snow. We spent the night there. The next morning our faces felt burnt (like gasoline on skin feels) and we looked like we had got too much sun, although, without the usual outline of our sunglasses. Our eyes were puffy and tender. Mine swelled up and stayed that way for over a month. Even though we tell ourselves that it was most likely some military training exercise, we are also concerned that we may have witnessed something that wasn't supposed to be seen. We didn't tell anyone about it because we are big fat chickens! I finally mentioned it in a report that I made last week to NUFORC on some unrelated night-time red lights in the Elko, Nevada vicinity. Sincerely. HBCC UFO Research - <>http://www.hbccufo.org ---------- UFOs Over Stoke Bishop, Bristol U.K. 20 To 30 Orange Lights Date: April 12, 2008 Time: Between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m.   Dear Sir/Madam,   The reason I'm reporting the following is that I hope someone may corroborate our story.   On the 12/4/08 (last Saturday night) between 9:00 and 9:30pm, I and my 14yr old daughter saw 20 to 30 orange lights flying over stoke bishop, Bristol.   I first saw 3 orange lights in the sky coming over the roof tops on bell barn road, stoke bishop. They were flying from the direction of the portway towards Westbury on trim, almost as if they were following Canford road. I stopped the car in the middle of the road and said to my daughter look at that. We both got out the car and as we looked up approximately another 10 followed, some random some in triangle formation. As we both stood in the middle of the road pointing skyward like idiots at least two cars squeezed past although I couldn't take my eyes off the sky. (Someone surely must remember us and saw what we were looking at). I remember my daughter saying "do you think we are being invaded dad".   After the lights went over us we got back in the car and I told my daughter "we will never see anything like that in our lives again".   As we turned into Shirehampton road to continue our original purpose of going to the shop I had to stop again as yet another (for want of a better word) wave of 10 or so came past as before but this time the last two were circling each other. The important thing about mentioning the circling is when we saw the first lot I said to my daughter they may be balloons with lights in. I reasoned that by purposely circling each other it ruled this theory out? Also there was very little wind and they were traveling at quite a speed.   I'm not saying we saw aliens and I'm well aware the military has technology 10yrs or so ahead of the public, but if it was state of the art military technology what's it doing flying so obviously over a built up area on Saturday night?   I know the whole story sounds absurd but that's what we saw. If it's of any relevance I have also attached our independent reports I suggested we write down as soon as we got home. (You can see through Microsoft word properties they have not been altered since they were typed last Saturday the 12/4/08). Kindest regards.   Additional Information was provided in an MS Document. (From the witnesses notes)   Driving along road, spotted 3 or 4 orange lights in the sky, not like stars, bigger moving in the same direction. Then spotted further 6, same direction. Triangle shape some of them.   Then lights stop, move further up road seen more coming over, same color, same shape but more. Approx: 10 in all. Some moving around each other. Then going higher like the last lot disappearing.   More Information from family member.   On the 12th of April 2008, me and my dad experienced something unreal. We were on our way to the shop when my Dad looked up and said, "what the hell is that"!   I looked up stunned when we both seen about 15 orange fiery balls floating in the sky. They were all traveling in the same direction up into the sky as if they were going to space ?   My Dad suggested they might be balloons with lights in them, but I looked up and they both moved around each other only 2.   I said to Dad, that can't be balloons ? Then when they all disappeared were drove around to the shop and seen about 20 more. We stopped the car, got out and had another look. Weather Conditions: Dry, clear blue sky.   Description: Driving East on the A120 I noted immediately ahead what I thought at first to be either a glider or hang glider, not uncommon in the area where there is a local airfield. This object was white (not silver & definitely not shiny)and fairly high in the sky , difficult to pinpoint distance but clear enough for the shape to be very clear viewing along the length of the fuselage and not nose on, with the wing profile being extremely distinct. I would still at that point have accepted that it was a glider but what happened next left me speechless.It simply started to move, again in profile and then just disappeared. There was no cloud cover and the object was just too large and visible to have been anything other than accelerating out of view at what could only have been supersonic plus speed.Until this point I was a skeptic on UFOs but this was like nothing I'd ever seen before either in person or on film.   TV/Radio: N/A. UFOINFO <http://www.ufoinfo.com/>http://www.ufoinfo.com/ ---------- ISS And STS-124 Docked (Pictures) Date: June 8, 2008 Time: 9:33 a.m. Hi again Brian, these are the pictures of the ISS and STS-124 docked on the last mission. Taken June 8, 2008 at 9:33am EST, with a fairly low-res Sony Mavica w/10x zoom, so spectacular, they are not. But I feel it gives a comparison of other objects photographed in the sky. If one zooms in on the first picture, you can make out the shape of the solar panels through the pixels. Certainly a much longer lens is in order. I waited at least two years to attempt a shot, getting clear weather, and a high pass with them docked together isn't always possible. Shame I didn't have a camera the night the Shuttle/ISS gave us the plasma light show directly overhead. I'll be keeping my eyes toward the sky. Hi Brian, I hope you can help? I spotted what appeared to be something rather odd in the sky on June 8th 2008. It was the clearest brightest day  this year and not a breath of wind in the air. I noticed lots of planes over head and to the east of me looking straight out. I saw the vapour trails  so I knew that is what they were. However I saw something in the sky not to high up and this object stood out from the others because it remained  stationary in the sky. At first I dismissed it as a child's helium balloon perhaps it had broke away from the child but then I thought about it and as it wasn't moving at all I was a little puzzled so I grabbed some binoculars and my camera. I looked through the binoculars from my bedroom window as I had a clear view. This object was tubular in appearance and far too big to be a helium balloon. There was no string attached. I noticed it was red and white but it appeared to be spinning around clockwise whilst remaining stationary and also changing colour from Red to White. I grabbed my camera and snapped some shots but I can't make anything out on them and I don't know if you have any way of enhancing them??     The object remained stationary from the time I noticed it anyway for about 10 minutes before moving towards the east and disappearing from view. Being curious I walked out a ways so that I could see behind the building. It was hovering pretty low and had one light on the bottom as if it was looking at something. I reached for my phone to take a picture and it flew off away from me pretty quick.   TV/Radio: N/A. Number of witnesses: 5 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Small red lights. Full Description of event/sighting: On June 14, 2008 We were visiting Elko, Nevada and went out for a walk around midnight. In the sky near the moon, we noticed 2 small red lights, moving slowly but steadily across the sky. The first red light seemed to move faster than the second one. There was no sound and these were not airplanes.   There were several other people watching (whom we did not know, and who lived in the area). One of the gentleman said he had been watching the lights for about an hour and that they had moved across the sky.   As we watched for about a half hour, the first light flared and then went out.   The second light changed course and disappeared behind some trees towards the horizon,   I wrote to the police department and the newspaper for news but have not received a response.   This is our (my husband and myself) first UFO sighting. We are both educated and intelligent (husband has a Masters Degree and I have a Bachelor's Degree). He is 65 and I am 55. Thank you to the witness for the good report. Weather Conditions: Clear, nearly full moon.   Description: there have been several sightings in our small Mayan Village since Jan. 2007 , HOWEVER they are now coming down close and I feel are trying to communicate, definitely a good feeling when I dialed my cell phone to alert a neighbor out of the village, it took off immediately, I feel that if I had not done that it would have remained longer , I am now seeking a source to get educated on the proper way to welcome them. UFOINFO <>http://www.ufoinfo.com/ ---------- Murrysville, PA, And Delmont, PA Saturn Shaped UFO With Dome Date: June 19, 2008 Time: Approx: 3:30 a.m.   Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 and 7 Shape of objects: Saturn-shaped with dome on top, RED pulsing with sequentially flashing white lights. Weather Conditions: Partly cloudy, bright moon.   Description: Murrysville, PA, approx. 3:30AM: My 12-year-old daughter was up (sneaking) talking on phone to friend looking out her bedroom window (facing south) at the moon when a red-glowing pulsing craft came into view instantly (in the blink of an eye) to the right out bedroom window over a wooded valley in front of our house. It was a "Saturn" shaped disk with dome on top. It had a row of small white lights close to the lower edge that raced one at a  time to the right, then traveled back again, repeating. The whole craft glowed red that got brighter then dimmer. It moved slowly just above the tree line until it was directly in front of her window where it hovered silently (moving slightly, not stationary) for several more seconds. This was almost directly above our neighbor's house down in the woods. She said the craft was about 16 feet or so in length, only big enough for 2 passengers. It did the hovering light show several times before moving off quickly to the east. Her  boyfriend on the phone told her as she described it and said it must be a UFO because planes don't glow like that. After she told him it left, he looked out his own window towards our house (his is about 5 miles away) and counted 7 red "lights" traveling in a group. It scared him, so he ducked and couldn't tell what direction they were traveling--he thinks it might have been north. Daughter's drawing of what she saw confirmed disk shape with top smaller-sized dome, not plane etc.   We joked that our garden lights which are 16 multi-colored, pulsing, solar-powered LED lights on poles lining our garden wall in a half-circle must be what attracted them--it looks like one is already here!   TV/Radio: None. UFOINFO <>http://www.ufoinfo.com/ ---------- To London >From Tonbridge Wells In Kent, U.K. A Fleet Of UFOs Date: June 21, 2008 Time: 10:50 p.m. Hi my name is (name removed) I was driving back to London from Tonbridge wells in Kent   We was driving along the A21 Sevenoaks bypass going towards the m25 and London, it was 10:50 pm on the 21st of June 2008, when I noticed out of my left eye a fleet of UFOs they were like a constellation of red to orange to white and back to orange colour orbs. They were just above the horizon of the fields to my left side around a hundred feet up and around 3 hundred feet away. I said to my mate sitting on my left next to me, look at that, there.   He said that's a constellation, I said no way it's too close to the ground and look at the colour of the other stars, there white these are orangey red and white, so he laughs at me for being too quick to call it UFOs.   Well we hadn't got a minute up the road when again on the left side of the road in the next field along we all saw hundreds of them, again this time they were not only on the ground and all spread out over this field. They were hanging there just above the ground from left of the field to right about a 2 hundred feet across this field and what I noticed most was that they were like getting into line and making a pillar of spiraling lights going up around 3 to 4 hundred feet into the air, but keeping this shape of a tube or strait line of lights   Like something was slowly vacuuming them up a glass tube but not so fast, just like a floating motion   Well don't stop on the road, if a car comes up from behind they might hit you so I keep going don't stop.   Well the road didn't have any hard shoulder to stop on and I had a few cars behind me but I did slow down to around 20 miles an hour and the cars behind me slowed. There must have been around 5 or 6 cars behind me, but no one seemed to mind that I had slowed my cars speed down. No one gave me a toot on their horn. They all must have seen it too. It was like Christmas lights out there, they lit up the hole field in this orangey red colour. I was watching them in my rear mirror, I asked if everyone is ok and my little girl said I'm scared so we just kept driving   I did see this and they were not Thai lanterns.   Thank you to the witness for the really interesting report.   HBCC UFO Research - <>http://www.hbccufo.org   ---------- Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England A Cluster Of Lights Date: June 21, 2008 Time: 10:30 p.m. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Circle. Weather Conditions: Patchy rain/clouds.   Description: I was driving home with my husband when something flashing caught my eye. I looked up to the top left hand side of the windscreen and in the sky was a circle of white ball shape lights (about 10-15) another row of lights inside that, then a gap and, then a small cluster of lights in the middle. It was about 10cm in size. When I first looked at the lights it was still flashing then it moved over to the right hand side of the windscreen very quickly. When it moved the lights moved (the outside ring of lights moved to the left and the inside lights moved to the right) as it continued to move across the sky from left to right to middle and back again in no order. It flashed quickly every now and then. It never left the sight of the windscreen and it also didn't move up the windscreen. I thought this was strange as the car was going about 40mph and I watched it for about 1 minute. We went under some trees and when we came out, it had gone. I have no idea what it could of been!   TV/Radio: This was not reported, but just today in the newspapers it has been reported that the same weekend lots of UFOs were seen but nothing like this. Brian, Here is another couple pictures of a different objects that I've seen which you might be interested in, again around 30th avenue, Vernon, BC, southern sky. In the first picture the object is coming out of the clouds and looks metallic, and I took it a couple days ago. In the second picture, I can't make out what the objects are - but there are three - same day. June 22nd, 2008 afternoon. Thank you to the witness for the report and photos. HBCC UFO Research - <>http://www.hbccufo.org ---------- Santa Monica, California A Sun/Fire Colored UFO Date: June 22, 2008 Time: 10:00 p.m.   Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Small sun/fire colored object/hot-air balloon? Weather Conditions: Clear.   Description: Object appeared over the ocean heading South and seemed to be losing altitude. Suddenly, fire glow from the South side, made the object appear to head back to the North and much higher. Then it drifted slowly to the South in the night sky, in the direction of the Moon and over LAX. Noticed that it was reflecting sun light color. Full Description of event/sighting: At approx 5pm on Monday 23 June 2008, I was in the garden, chatting the phone and watching the birds and planes overhead as usual. It was a bright, sunny, late afternoon, almost totally clear blue skies with a reasonable Easterly wind , when I noticed something very strange in the sky.   It was extremely high up, way, way up above the commercial airlines passing overhead, yet somehow it was so clearly visible. It was a very clearly defined orange orb, not fuzzy or glowing or anything, just a bright orange ball in the sky.   I watched it for a few minutes, and it was making very peculiar movements, going slowly backwards and forwards (not in same direction as wind) and then stopping perfectly still and motionless before moving very slowly again. I was very perplexed, and a little spooked to be honest, as I just could not work out what on earth it was. It then stopped and remained very still. I wondered if I was maybe going crazy.. so I went and asked a nearby neighbor to come and have a look.   He also was totally perplexed. We watched it for approximately a further 5 minutes, trying to come up with every rational explanation we could think of (it was far too high and moving far too strangely to possibly be a Hot Air Balloon or Lantern or all the other possibilities we each tried to come up with, like a military plane or anything), but neither of us could solve what it was.   He said he'd never seen anything like it in his life. And neither had I. It kept moving, very slowly, then stopping perfectly still at random intervals. It then moved slowly directly South, towards sea, then just totally vanished out of thin air before our eyes.   I have never been a UFO type person, neither had he, but we were both transfixed by this thing and could not take our eyes off it. I tried to capture it several times on my mobile phone camera or video, but nothing seemed to be visible through that (maybe too high for a small camera phone?).    I suggested we report it, and he said people would think we were "crazy". But in the following days, I saw on BBC news that similar sightings had be made in the North of England (Liverpool) and Wales. So I decided to report it to the local Newspaper (Worthing Herald) , but they have not published anything thus far.    I'm a mature, rational, down to earth woman in my 40's, with a professional background, and my neighbor is also similar age and perfectly normal. Neither of us has had any previous interest or experience of UFO's.    With or without photo evidence, I know what I saw, witnessed by someone else, and now I am a firm believer that we are not alone in space! The sky was perfectly clear. I saw what looked like two stars next to each other and one 'star' seemed to be much brighter and twinkle more than the other. Then to my surprise the 'twinklier' star started to move off to the north (the other star, was just that, because it never moved and seemed to be part of whatever constellation we can see in that part of the sky at this time of year ). I watched the object carry on traveling north and then it changed to head east over Swanage. As I was indoors I couldn't hear if it was making a noise and it did look like it was very high in the sky. It wasn't traveling at breakneck speed, but rather at a steady but still very quick rate. The most noticeable thing was that the whole object seemed to be comprised of a bright yellow pulsating light. Full Description of event/sighting: For the second time we've experienced unusual power surges and electrical problems in our home. Our A/C unit shorts out and catches fire after repair from the first event, computer went to blue screen of death but recovered but without audio capabilities. Phone problems as well, I received a call from my own number, that when I picked it up emitted a high pitched popping noise. It was suggested to me to go outside and take pictures when these things occur. So I did. The picture of the Triangle/Shadow was taken at 1:30 pm and the Disk appeared in a picture that I took at approximately 2:15 pm. There were airplanes in normal travel patterns, very high up. Partially cloudy skies all afternoon with a mild breeze. I've enclosed both photos. None of these things were visible to my eye at the time the photo's were taken. We live on top of a small ridge and are surrounded by heavy woods then farm land into the rolling hills. We are located 10 miles from the nearest small town. These photo's were taken at the top of the ridge where my pole barn and horse pasture is located. I have a pretty clear view of the sky with the tree line evident. Other people in our area have experienced strange electrical problems according to the repair man, who has been busy fixing the problems. But I said no it isn't, then we watched it and it got brighter and closer then faded out and was gone. Then a little while later, it appeared again and was visible for a while then vanished again and has not reappeared since 1:40 am approx. I noticed a reddish light near the top of the amber color which it had and my brother also said that the lighting formed a V shape and looked to be spinning. It didn't have any specific features which I could point out. It wasn't moving, it just looked as if it was sitting in the sky and it was present for approximately 15 to 20 seconds. Before I even got my phone to record the object, it had disappeared. He came in to get me to look at it. I saw a group of lights that were almost in a perfect oval flying or floating over Corner Brook. They looked like stars only there was no twinkling, just white light and no sound and they were moving together. Then there was another light behind it which I took to be a plane because it moved faster, almost trying to catch up and did have blinking lights. My husband said the next day that he believes that the lights were balloons sent up by the graduating class after they had shot off some fireworks. I don't know, they were pretty high up and all moving the same. But it doesn't make sense to send up balloons in the middle of the night and I think they were traveling opposite to the wind direction. I guess they could have been reflecting light from the moon, but I believe that it was something else. Anyone knowing if they were indeed balloons or may have saw the lights. Please comment. Thanks. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: ? Shape of objects: Lights.   Full Description of event/sighting: I took a photo of the lake in front of my house before heading out the door for a drive. I took this photo from inside my living room looking outward. There appears to be 3 bright lights that I thought were campfires. My husband told me that was impossible since no one is allowed to burn in the area and also it is above the lake area into the Jicarrilla Apace mountain side which is impossible since there are no trespassing signs posted everywhere. People have been arrested in the past for walking in these areas. Also there are no roads where these light appeared. When I looked at my photo on my computer I also notice streaks flying across. All of my lights were off in my house so there was no way it could have been a reflection from inside my house. I check my camera to see if the lens was dirty which it was not. The speed was set at 1600/auto. It is a Canon G9. HBCC UFO Research - <http://www.hbccufo.org/>http://www.hbccufo.org ---------- Vancouver, British Columbia UFO Makes A Sharp Zig Zag Maneuver Date: June 29, 2008 Time: After Midnight Hello, Last night I was watching the stars and enjoying a cigar on my 6th floor balcony in Vancouver, B.C. A helicopter got my attention as it had a search light on near English Bay beach, so I got my Hi8 video camera out and shot a bit. I kept the camera with me and whenever I saw a satellite fly overhead I would tape it. I also taped a bit of the planet Jupiter, low to the east. At about a minute or two after midnight, June 29/08, I saw a slow moving satellite to the south. I rolled my camera on it. I had a clear shot of it, with a star centered still in the frame. It seemed to speed up and then disappeared. Today when I watched the footage, I was surprised to see, that what I thought was a satellite, did a sharp zig zag as it approached the position of the "still" centered star and then sped up a bit and seemed to fade off to a higher orbit and disappeared. I am now going to try to get, the video copied onto a file that I can e-mail and burn a DVD of. The sighting is about 10 seconds in length and quite clear. It now makes me wonder about some of the other "satellites" I have seen that seem to vanish or grow very dim. I used to just take it for granted, that it was the satellite losing sunlight to reflect. Hi Brian, I was watching the news hour on Global TV and during their traffic report the chopper was over the N. end of the Lions Gate Bridge facing south. I noticed a fast moving white object come into the picture traveling east to west. At first I thought it was a Seagull but when it flew under the bridge I realized it was much further away then I first thought and much bigger. It happened so fast it barely registered before it was gone but I believe it was several times the size of a car, possibly round or disk shaped and a pale white in color. Possibly you or someone else was watching and got a better look. I think it was Leigh Holive? doing the traffic report from the chopper. Thank you to the person for the information.
