"This is a rare photo of nine
Northrup Flying Wing Bombers. Many people do not realize that more than
one or two prototypes were built of this design. Here, for the first time,
is actual proof of their existence. Two of the big wing bombers are undergoing
modifications from XB-35's to Flying Wing B-49 Jet Bombers. The entire
project was later cancelled by the Air Force."

- 1. I am today transmitting to the National Security
Council a proposal (TAB A) in which it is concluded that the problems connected
with unidentified flying objects appear to have implications for psychological
warfare as well as for intelligence and operations.

the possible offensive or defensive utilization of these phenomena for

OFFICE THAT AN OBJECT PURPORTING TO BE A FLYING DISC WAS RECOVERED NEAR
ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO, THIS DATE. THE DISC IS HEXAGONAL IN SHAPE AND WAS
SUSPENDED FROM A BALLOON BY CABLE, WHICH BALLOON WAS APPROXIMATELY 20 FEET
IN DIAMETER. (BLACKED OUT) FURTHER ADVISED THAT THE OBJECT FOUND RESEMBLES
A HIGH ALTITUDE WEATHER BALLOON WITH A RADAR REFLECTOR, BUT THAT TELEPHONIC
CONVERSATION BETWEEN THEIR OFFICE AND WRIGHT FIELD HAD NOT (BLACKED OUT)
