Trump's Anti-Christian Bombing Campaign

The White House decision to rush to Israel's aid against Iran - the boldest defender of Palestinian rights against Netanyahu's fascistic extermination campaign - is backfiring as a consequence of U.S. airstrikes against a slew of targets, some connected with the Revolutionary Guards and others quite obscure, especially given the official blackout of credible news reporting. With his direct role in a regional dispute between a militarist Israel and Muslim anger at the mass destruction of Gaza, the traditional White House role as a moderator of regional conflicts and peacemaker - as set by Jimmy Carter in league with then Egyptian leader Anwar Sadat is now ancient history. The blatant one-sided intervention to rescue Bibi is in all probability a violation of a U.S. president's authority to wage a foreign war - especially when considering the Netanyahu's insane cruelty of demolishing vast swaths of civilian housing across Gaza on a scale of meanness unimaginable even when compared with Adolf Hitler's repression of Polish Jews. Today's Israel is a rogue state that has tossed away its legitimacy to rule the Holy Land, a blessed zone of peace between the three Abrahamic religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Instead of prayers for peace, the Bibi-Don twins are on the path of mass murder. And by ordering USAF pilots to bomb a nation that our side has yet to declare war against - the President is basically an international war criminal. As a longtime support of Trump, there is no choice but opposition to his casual war crimes and inflaming the hatred between Israelis, Palestinians and Iranians. This is now a moment of truth for the vast Islamic population across the Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula, North Africa and along the borders of Europe and Russia. If the overwhelming decision is global jihad, my tiny voice of advice to the White House is: remove Trump - on grounds of illness of the mental variety and install a more responsible leader in the Oval Office. Blowback from the Gulf War As a news reporter I covered the Gulf War - from across the Persian Gulf in Dubai, Qatar and Bahrain. The transition was easy since I had been marketing mobile phones in that region through sales pitches to businessmen in the Emirates, Iran and Lebanon. At the start of the Cheney-Bush war on Saddam Hussein's Iraq, I received a stern warning while watching a televised soccer match at a swank bar inside the Dubai Intercontinental. As told to me by an intermediary: "Your name is near the top of the list of reporters to be terminated if you attempt to enter the war zone. It's real, not a hoax." I thought to myself why not give it a try, to hell with the bastards. A couple of days later two of my journalism colleagues from Japan had passed through the first checkpoint only to be found dead a dozen miles down the road. Point taken. What we are seeing today is the degeneration of a good man named Donald descending in the pit of hellish war and self-deception that he alone can save his beloved state of Israel. Never mind the lives of American airmen or victims of angry terrorism wherever there are outraged Muslims. I could go on and on, but a single point demands emphasis. The Holy Land is expected to shared by the three Abrahamic religions - Christianity, Islam and Judaism. But the fact is the land trod by Jesus and his disciples exists in blatant violation of the guidelines of compassion for strangers, aid to lost and lonely, and care for victims along the road. Israel is now in the self-righteous hypocritic mode of the Sanhedrin counsel that demanded the execution of a good man on the cross. Bibi and Don have got to go for their fraudulent hypocrisy and the balance of the just must be restored in honor of the three faith traditions. Unfortunately the stubborn hatred and atrocities being committed may well demand a strong response - the formation of another Crusade to liberate the Holy Land. |
