Will Klitschko Soon Replace Zelensky As | |
8-16-23 | |
Angry was the first reaction of Ukraine to NATO for the "bombshell" about granting territories to Russia. It is the worst day for V. Zelensky who is now facing his political end in the presidency of Ukraine. We should not be surprised if rapid political developments are launched in Ukraine. Because the countdown has begun for V. Zelensky Kiev, through Volodymyr Zelenskiy's adviser, Mykhailo Podoliak, reacted angrily to the statement of a senior NATO official, about possible territory concessions from Kiev in order to enter the Alliance. Podoliak confirmed to WarNews247 as he talks about defeating NATO.... "Choosing to defeat democracy" In a long post on Twitter, Zelensky's advisor speaks of a ridiculous proposal and a deliberate "choice to defeat democracy" . In detail what he wrote: "Territories exchange under the umbrella of NATO? It is ridiculous. This means deliberately choosing to defeat democracy, encouraging a global criminal, preserving the Russian regime, destroying international law and passing the war on to other generations. Besides, why would Russia voluntarily abandon provocations, hybrids and traditional behavior without losing? Obviously, unless Putin suffers a crushing defeat, the political regime in Russia is not changed, and the war criminals are not punished, war will surely return with Russia's appetite for more. Attempts to maintain world order and establish a "bad peace" through, let's be honest, the triumph of Putin will not bring peace to the world, but will also bring dishonor and war. This applies to any form of a new "division of Europe": including the NATO umbrella. Then why is the scenario of the freeze, which Russia so desires, being proposed instead of the acceleration of arms procurement? Murderers must not be encouraged with appalling leniency..." Anger from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine "The shaping of the narrative" of giving territory to Russia in exchange for joining NATO is "absolutely unacceptable," Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko said in a Facebook post, responding to a statement by Stoltenberg's associate. "Discussions about Ukraine joining NATO in exchange for ceding part of Ukrainian territory are absolutely unacceptable. We always take it for granted that the Alliance, as well as Ukraine, do not exchange territories," Nikolenko stressed. He also warned that "the conscious or unconscious participation of NATO officials in shaping the narrative about the possibility of Ukraine ceding part of its territory" is playing into Russia's hands. Instead, according to Nikolenko, it is in the interest of Euro-Atlantic security to discuss ways to speed up Ukraine's victory and full NATO membership. Finally, the diplomat noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is determined to continue fruitful cooperation with the NATO Secretariat to achieve these goals.
