Countless, Very Long Translucent Fibers Fall Onto | 3-13-21 |
Note - We received this from a farmer in Ohio. If anyone has similar experiences, Jeff... I'm a farmer in NW Ohio and while checking our fields this afternoon, the sun's glare and millions of reflecting translucent long fibers caught my attention. I'm used to seeing the occasion spider web in the sun but nothing like this. I've never seen continual fibers that were easily 200-300 yards long. When I searched the internet for any information I found your past articles. Have you uncovered any additional information or intent since the early 2000's? The threads were so thick I was able to grab hundreds with my finger and as I did they broke apart like glass. Curious and taking advantage of the sun angle I drove 10-20 miles west of our location and these fibers were everywhere, fields, trees, tv antennas etc. I did notice the fibers appeared to be laid in the same direction, northwest, with no cross direction overlap. We have had noticeably more air traffic in the past 5 days than usual which I'm sure contributed to this. If the "jab" isn't killing enough of us...now this? Any feedback you may have is welcome.
