Inept Politicians Won't Solve Border Crisis
Let Citizens Decide In A National Vote

By Gerald Celente
2-15-19

KINGSTON, NY, 15 February 2019—Doubling down on Congress's failure for a border wall agreement, following the longest U.S. Government shutdown in history, President Donald Trump has now declared a National Emergency to build the wall in response to the unwillingness of the two ruling parties to end the deadlock.

This ongoing D.C. drama is just another glaring example of the incompetence and ineptitude of America's political system.

As Gerald Celente, publisher of the Trends Journal has long forecast, it is time for America to embrace the Swiss system of Direct Democracy: Let the people vote on major critical issues that affect their lives and livelihoods.

The Wall or No Wall ballot would be a simple Yes or No vote.

        A) Yes, I want a Border Wall that will cost $XX billion to build

        B) No, I do not want a Border Wall and I am willing to pay $XX more in taxes for the social needs of each immigrant entering the country.

And, in the future, to accelerate the voting process and put the decision of important issues in the hands of the people, such as voting for wars, defense budgets, tax deals and other critical issues, Mr. Celente identified Blockchain Voting as a 21st century replacement of the archaic systems that proved their ineffectiveness in the 2018 mid-term elections.

Secure and simple. The technology is being embraced by the biggest banks and financial institutions, insurance giants, new technology companies, major industries and an increasing number of governments worldwide.

Beyond just voting online during election time, the larger and more important trend, Blockchain Democracy, one of Celente's Top Trends for 2018, will make politicians and the current election process obsolete by diluting the power of political parties and putting the power in the hands of We the People.

What will it take to make it a reality?

"The will of the people," said Celente.
