Re: "The global response to climate changes is now the underlying framework for everything else that society debates"  by Edward Felsenthal,  Time Magazine, November 8, 2021, page 4

While you featured the "Climate Change" conference and people from around the world addressing it, you neglected once again to deal with its main driver: human overpopulation.  You and all the people you interviewed in your magazine continue to avoid or suppress the population factor.  So, here it is in black and white: the USA remains on course to add 100,000,000 people, net gain, by mid-century. The planet faces another 2.2 billion people added, net gain.  All of them will be burning some kind of fuel to stay warm, travel, cook food and maintain their lives.

That reality alone guarantees that no amount of alternative energy, conservation, electric cars or inventions will improve the planet's ability to maintain sustainable living conditions for all animals on this planet.

This is my challenge to you: what are you doing to further educate Americans as to solutions to stopping America's overpopulation predicament?  What about Africa's, China's or India's? If you continue to suppress the "overpopulation equation", how will your kids and grandkids fare?  When will you publish writers and scientists who bring the sobering aspects of our dilemma to the forefront in order to educate the American people?  Is it possible you have fallen asleep at the wheel like Joe Biden fell asleep at the Glasgow Climate Change conference?   Sad reality check: you have fallen short, you won't make a change and you're much like the president: asleep at the wheel.

Thus, the planet will continue to be cooked up, forests burned, oceans acidified, ecologies destroyed and a globe that will respond to this human abuse with greater consequences in the 21 st century.  That's your legacy, sir.

Thank you,

--  Frosty Wooldridge
