Big Lies About Russia Persist |

| Russia and China are America’s main rival powers Russia for its military
strength, China mainly because it’s an economic powerhouse. It’s the world’s second largest economy, heading in the years ahead to be No. 1. America will be relegated to second tier status. Eventually the dollar is likely to lose its preeminence as the world’s reserve currency, negatively affecting the country politically, economically and militarily. Russia is the only nation able to match Washington’s nuclear strength, along with delivery systems able to strike targets with pinpoint accuracy virtually everywhere. Its military might, sovereign independence, and opposition to US imperial lawlessness are the main obstacles to America achieving unchallenged global dominance. It’s why Russia bashing is the national political pastime, viciously ongoing virtually daily without let up featuring disinformation, Big Lies and fake news. Russia never attacked another country. It threatens none now. No “Russian aggression” exists not in Ukraine or anywhere else. Its summer 2008 involvement in South Ossetia was to protect its citizens from merciless slaughter by the US-supported rogue Georgian regime. It didn’t annex Crimea. The territory reunited with Russia, correcting a historic mistake. No Russian US election hacking occurred. No evidence suggests it. None exists. Yet baseless accusations persist fabricated rubbish regurgitated dutifully by media scoundrels. On June 21, a fake news NYT report cited Obama’s homeland security secretary Jeh Johnson claiming Obama knew about Russian US election hacking but remained silent. How could he know about what never happened? The Times is one of the leading proliferators of the fabricated hacking story to bash Russia and denigrate Trump. John Brennan, James Clapper and other Obama officials repeated the same Big Lie, reading from the same script. Asked why Obama remained silent about Russian hacking allegations, Johnson absurdly said “(w)e were very concerned that we not be perceived as taking sides in the election, injecting ourselves into a very heated campaign or taking steps to delegitimize the election process and undermine the integrity of the election process.” Throughout the campaign, Obama and other high-level undemocratic Democrats one-sidedly championed Hillary, bashing Trump for the wrong reasons. Separately, DHS cybersecurity official Jeanette Manfra lied, claiming Russian-linked hackers targeted election systems in at least 21 states. Yet none of them publicly reported foreign or other meddling in their process. No evidence suggests Russian interference. It never happened. Claims otherwise are Big Lies. If Moscow wasn’t falsely blamed for aggression in Ukraine and US election hacking, other fabricated accusations would have been invented as pretexts to continue longstanding US hostility toward the country.
