20 Cents - The New Minimum Wage
By Jim Kirwan
8-5-11

THE PRICE OF PROSPERITY began with LBJ!

Twenty cents an hour: This is Obama's "CHANGE you can believe in," it also just happens to be the bedrock of his long-promised return to prosperity-for the filthy-rich! How in hell can any company or small business compete against .20 cents an hour? That's even cheaper than any Chinese Labor could ever be. And there is never a problem with workers rights, medical coverage or employee relations; nor will there ever be any shortage of willing and totally submissive slaves.

The headliners in creating this particular nightmare are being led by the same privatizing-interests that have already stolen everything else in the country; and now if you want to work you must compete against a massive new prison-labor work force that can make as much as .20 cents an hour: These are your tax dollars at work inside the privatized prison-industrial system that is proud of incarcerating at least one of every one-hundred people in this country.

In 1980 we had only about one-quarter as many people in prison as we do today-thanks to the Corrections Corporation of America, for creating all these new corporate jobs that are virtually free to the companies but whose new and much lower-costs will never be reflected in the prices that people will still have to pay for their continued services. Hey it's "JUST BUSINESS"!  You too can share by getting arrested or detained without charge, without a trial, without any rights at all: But you'll have a job and a place to sleep until you can't work anymore and then you're dead.

"The breaded chicken patty your child bites into at school may have been made by a worker earning twenty cents an hour, not in a faraway country, but by a member of an invisible American workforce: prisoners. At the Union Correctional Facility, a maximum security prison in Florida, inmates from a nearby lower-security prison manufacture tons of processed beef, chicken and pork for Prison Rehabilitative Industries and Diversified Enterprises (PRIDE), a privately held non-profit corporation that operates the state's forty-one work programs. In addition to processed food, PRIDE's website reveals an array of products for sale through contracts with private companies, from eyeglasses to office furniture, to be shipped from a distribution center in Florida to businesses across the US. PRIDE boasts that its work programs are "designed to provide vocational training, to improve prison security, to reduce the cost of state government, and to promote the rehabilitation of the state inmates."

Although a wide variety of goods have long been produced by state and federal prisoners for the US government-license plates are the classic example, with more recent contracts including everything from guided missile parts to the solar panels powering government buildings-prison labor for the private sector was legally barred for years, to avoid unfair competition with private companies. But this has changed thanks to the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), its Prison Industries Act, and a little-known federal program known as PIE (the Prison Industries Enhancement Certification Program). While much has been written about prison labor in the past several years, these forces, which have driven its expansion, remain largely unknown.

Somewhat more familiar is ALEC's instrumental role in the explosion of the US prison population in the past few decades. ALEC helped pioneer some of the toughest sentencing laws on the books today, like mandatory minimums for non-violent drug offenders, "three strikes" laws, and "truth in sentencing" laws. In 1995 alone, ALEC's Truth in Sentencing Act was signed into law in twenty-five states. (Then State Rep. Scott Walker was an ALEC member when he sponsored Wisconsin's truth-in-sentencing laws and, according to PR Watch, used its statistics to make the case for the law.) More recently, ALEC has proposed innovative "solutions" to the overcrowding it helped create, such as privatizing the parole process through "the proven success of the private bail bond industry," as it recommended in 2007. (The American Bail Coalition is an executive member of ALEC's Public Safety and Elections Task Force.) ALEC has also worked to pass state laws to create private for-profit prisons, a boon to two of its major corporate sponsors: Corrections Corporation of America and Geo Group (formerly Wackenhut Corrections), the largest private prison firms in the country. An In These Times investigation last summer revealed that ALEC arranged secret meetings between Arizona's state legislators and CCA to draft what became SB 1070, Arizona's notorious immigration law, to keep CCA prisons flush with immigrant detainees. ALEC has proven expertly capable of devising endless ways to help private corporations benefit from the country's massive prison population.

That mass incarceration would create a huge captive workforce was anticipated long before the US prison population reached its peak-and at a time when the concept of "rehabilitation" was still considered part of the mission of prisons. First created by Congress in 1979, the PIE program was designed "to encourage states and units of local government to establish employment opportunities for prisoners that approximate private sector work opportunities," according to PRIDE's website. The benefits to big corporations were clear-a "readily available workforce" for the private sector and "a cost-effective way to occupy a portion of the ever-growing offender/inmate population" for prison officials-yet from its founding until the mid-1990s, few states participated in the program.

This started to change in 1993, when Texas State Representative and ALEC member Ray Allen crafted the Texas Prison Industries Act, which aimed to expand the PIE program. After it passed in Texas, Allen advocated that it be duplicated across the country. In 1995, ALEC's Prison Industries Act was born." This story continues at the site (1)

With government importing people without papers at a phenomenal rate that has seen over 20 million of these people still taking jobs from Americans, with the government's collusion and sponsorship, which began when Reagan wanted to make labor cheaper for his buddies. This new idea of having to fight your own government for a job just became nearly impossible by first of all increasing the prison-population through draconian laws that incarcerate millions more people, just to be used again as literal wage-slaves. Apparently it was not enough that there are almost no jobs because we have exported god-knows how many jobs already: Now the privatized-Privateers are using the prisoners they created to take the jobs of laid off state and federal government workers as well. This is monstrous! Not only will this government not support the efforts of Americans to find jobs, they are actually supporting all kinds of efforts to ensure that there are no jobs available for any American today.

Here is one visible result of that policy, but for everyone of these reported on; there are now countless encampments under freeways and in the slums of every major city: These Obamaville's are brought to us all by this government at work, in concert with US Incorporated, that is about to end our ability to have any say in any of these policies by transforming the congress from 535 members to just twelve robots that will directly serve the New World Order and their masters; but never will they ever serve "us!"  (2)

So how long can you last in a country that seeks to limit the workforce to just twenty-cents an hour? How will your life be affected when you and I become the primary targets for the SUPER-TWELVE who shall act as our executioners in every area of American life?

What are you made of people that you have still not decided to refuse to go along with everything these OUTLAWS are doing each and every hour to every one of us? The numbers of the prison population will increase which is why FEMA has over 800 new bare-bones-prison camps ready and waiting to be filled. All of this has been known for years, and yet so many still refuse to act in their own defense. That is not the definition of a human being-that is the definition of a thoroughly-conditioned slave that has accepted the indoctrination program regardless of the self-evident truths that surround us all.

Just as the illustration above clearly shows the coming chain gangs will have room for all kinds of people from all walks of life. And make no mistake many of those who will be wearing chains will be among the former uniformed-thugs that are so busy killing other Americans today: Because this government always eats its own-it always has and it always will! You can still choose to take yourself off this menu that so resembles the Inquisition, and begin to resist in other ways, that can be used to stop this plan before it can be implemented.

Everything in the US today has been part of a criminal fraud of gargantuan proportions that began to get serious once The White House was stolen on 12-12-2000 by Bush the Deserter during the Vietnam War. The last in a long line of traitors that are known as the Bush Dynasty because of all the millions that have died under the Bushwhacked American Policies that he and his family created. The massive fraud behind the SUPER CONGRESS could be seen like this.

'Over the last ten YEARS attempting to organize the public toward awareness, has not only NOT WORKED, but has instead resulted in even deeper entrenchment of the International-Criminal Cabals than was ever thought possible before. Whenever someone calls for "organization to combat these traitors" they are inadvertently playing directly into the hands of the Outlaws: Just as the Privateers are increasing their hold upon this nation. If you want proof of what I just said then just think about the fact that just a few years ago: NO ONE COULD OR WOULD HAVE EVER SUGGESTED SOMETHING AS UN-AMERICAN AS this "SUPER-CONGRESS" that is nothing more than the real face of the Fascist Police-State as 'acceptable' - which will soon be the one and only source for "LAW" in this land of outlaws.'
To embrace any of the existing ways of going about obtaining a real resistance from this public is to just embrace a FOLLY that will only delay real resistance and give the government more ammunition and more road-kill to add to the prison populations.  Please see 'Dancing on the Edge of Oblivion' the video. Why is it so hard to get people to understand that this place was once theirs; until 'we' allowed a bunch of international thieving-murderers to set the agenda for everyone-else world wide!
