- "You are collectively about to grant an open ended
hunting license to the Commander-in-Chief, in perpetuity. IF you do this
you will individually and collectively be held responsible by history and
by the citizens of the world, for your arrogant desecration of the rules
of all recognized behavior and of international conduct. In brief you will
be officially be opening that Pandora's Box that contains the chaos, the
rebellion, the hatred and the bigotry that this world has tried for centuries
to contain,

- Please make no mistake: What you are about to do is a
cowardly act and if you do it, you will be giving little-bully-boy Bush
a License to Kill on a global scale.

- Since this man came to office, the Congress of the United
States has failed in its duties to the public that you are sworn to serve,
and to the Constitution you have sworn to uphold. In instance after instance
you have entertained and passed a steady stream of un-American laws and
Resolutions that are squarely aimed ay undermining the Constitutional provisions
of the Bill of Rights and many of the amendments to the Constitution, which
are matters of existing law.

- Those failures have brought this nation and the world,
much closer to the brink of chaos than was here-to-for ever thought possible.
This has happened because - despite your vast individual experience and
your official reputations - you have allowed your greed and fear to dictate
and control your votes, on all issues that have come before you.

- The failures of George W. Bush will cause history to
cringe from the mention of his name - in coming days. It is up to each
of you, as to whether the Congress of the United States will share the
infamy that Bush is creating with his beyond-the-pale policies both at
home and abroad.
- When this president came to power - people had jobs,
there was a huge surplus and the world was at peace. Even before the rigged
election Bush began talking recession. This became a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Thereafter Bush began a series of complete reversals of the nation's course
on international agreements of all kinds. This man is clearly unqualified
to lead anything larger than a small bar full of drunks. His language is
primitive, his professional knowledge of diplomacy is non-existent, and
his feelings for his fellow human beings make a mockery of all that matters
in the real world. And yet you embrace him even as you grovel in your pathetic
attempts to please him.

- The disastrous results of you complicity in 'W's grand
plan to steal the essence of this nation by subverting its laws, its founding
principles, and its national honor in the family of nations - is a crime
against the people of the United States, because your actions are undertaken
in our names" (1)

- Today there is much hand-wringing going on in the Halls
of Government about how not to have to admit that this warning was correct
in every detail. However this could all very-easily be 'fixed' by the same
congress that broke the laws and their solemn oath to protect both the
people and the Constitution from ALL enemies both foreign and domestic.
All that is required is that congress take back that which they had no
constitutional right to grant in the first place.

- REVOKE the License to Kill, REVOKE the war-making powers
that were illegally given to a Dictator, masquerading as a president; and
then return all the rest of the illegally created powers to the congress;
and eliminate the signing-statements that have created this American Fascist
State, by killing the representational aspect of this Republic's government.
Obamanation promised that he would revoke all that which was granted to
Bush; but instead he has kept everything and added new wars of his own,
along with new powers to spy more broadly and arrest with even less evidence
than even Cheney had envisioned.

- If this is not done, very soon, then everywhere there
are US Boots on the Ground will become nothing more than a continuation
and intensification of what we have been doing to the world for the last
eight years, which began with the totally illegal and unilateral military-attack
upon Afghanistan-supposedly to punish Afghan's for what happened on 911.

- Two new facts is all we have to show for these last eight
years of created Hell that we've been clearly manufacturing and exporting.
The first is that a majority of people no longer buy the government's version
of what happened on 911-instead most now understand that "911 was
an Inside Job." The second thing that most people now agree upon is
that we should not be in either Iraq orAfghanistan-which is a far cry from
Obamanation's declaration that "leavingAfghanistan is NOT an option."

- The United States has become a Humpty-Dumpty-like figure
that has fallen from its perch atop the walls that divide people of all
kinds from each other. In the metaphorical 'few-seconds' that we have left
before we hit the battle-ground of mud and blood to be smashed into a million
pieces-we ought to finally begin to deal with the realities that have been
created for those that believe they own us outright-now and forever more.

- There are no real political parties in this nation; there
are only appetites wearing various labels; the so-called principals of
which can be changed in an instant to accommodate any whim, or satisfy
any of the needs of the real power behind the money or the criminally-constituted-institutions,
as well as the farce of American society which is nothing more than a club
for the Filthy-Rich that needs to be chained and confined, rather than
to simply be allowed to continue to appease their every wish, at our expense!

- Congress will never willingly take back the powers they
gave away, so the entire 'chessboard' that Brzezinski is so fond of sighting
has become nothing more than a game for those imprisoned by their own cowardice,
to face that which has already happened to the United States.

- And the third huge problem is that because we have steadfastly
refused to rein-in our military-attack-dogs, all the way from our own privatized
armies of mercenaries to the Bestial armies of Zionist-executioners: The
entire planet is now facing a needless holocaust between those seeking
total power and the Road-Kill that is everyone else who are simply just
'in-the-way.'
- Eight years and trillions of dollars have been spent
to achieve a situation that is now worse than when we began. Millions upon
millions of the various populations where we have gone have been maimed,
damaged, displaced or murdered for nothing but more of the same. At home
we have overloaded the jails and the prisons while we have militarized
our own police-forces so that very soon we can begin to open fire on the
civilian population at random, without the perpetrators ever having to
fear any repercussions for their outlawed acts of kidnapping, torture or
murder; so long as those doing these things are wearing some kind of uniform.

- Yes we have a totally-failed 'president.'
- "But Barack Obama is failing. Failing big. Failing
fast. And failing everywhere: foreign policy, domestic initiatives, and
most importantly in forging connections with the American people. The incomparable
Dorothy Rabinowitz in the WSJ put her finger on it - he is failing because
he has no understanding of the American people and may indeed loath them.
Fred Barnes of the Weekly Standard says he is failing because he has lost
control of his message and is overexposed. Clarice Feldman of AT produced
a dispositive commentary showing that Obama is failing because fundamentally
he is neither smart nor articulate; his intellectual dishonesty is conspicuous
by its audacity and lack of shame.

- There is something else more seriously wrong. How could
a new president riding in on a wave of unprecedented promise and goodwill
have forfeited his tenure and become a lame duck in six months? His poll
ratings are in free fall. In generic balloting, the Republicans have now
seized a five point advantage. This truly is unbelievable. What's going
on?

- No narrative. Obama doesn't have a narrative. No, not
a narrative about himself. He has a self-narrative, much of it fabricated,
cleverly disguised or written by someone else. But his self-narrative is
isolated and doesn't connect with us.

- He doesn't have an American narrative that draws upon
the rest of us. All successful presidents have a narrative about the American
character that intersects with their own where they display a command of
history and reveal an authenticity at the core of their personality that
resonates in a positive endearing way to the majority of Americans. We
admire those presidents whose narrative not only touches our own but who
seem stronger, wiser and smarter than we are. Presidents we admire are
inspirational peers, even those whose politics don't align exactly with
our own. Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, Harry Truman, Ike, Reagan.

- But not this president. It's not so much that he's a
phony, knows nothing about economics, is historically illiterate and woefully
small minded for the size of the task -- all contributory of course. It's
that he's not one of us. And whatever he is, his profile is fuzzy and devoid
of content, like a cardboard cutout made from delaminated corrugated paper.
Moreover he doesn't command our respect and is unable to appeal to our
own common sense. His notions of right and wrong are repugnant and how
things work just don't add up. They are not existential. His descriptions
of the world we live in don't make sense and don't correspond with our
experience.

- In the meantime while we've been struggling to take a
measurement of this man, he's dissed just about every one of us -- financial
people, energy producers, banks, insurance companies, police officers,
doctors, nurses, hospital administrators, post office workers, and anybody
else who has a non-green job. Expect Obama to lament at his last press
conference in 2012: "For those of you I offended, I apologize; for
those of you who were not offended you just didn't give me enough time;
if only I'd had a second term I could have offended you too". (2)

- And yes we have become a fascist police-state; yet we
remain in denial about the particulars of both these heinous crimes-of-omission.
The only real question that remains is whether or not we are going to go
quietly into that Dark Night, not just of the soul but of the body as well,
that is all too-rapidly approaching!
