- Saskatchewan And Manitoba UFO Sighting In 1953

- HBCC UFO Research Note: I have to note that I personally
have not heard of the sightings that are mentioned in the below report,
although I only hear of a small fraction of what is being seen. I would
like to request that anyone having any information about these sightings,
the two of them would they please write to me here at HBCC UFO Research.
Also any newspaper articles that you might still have, and photos since
many photos were taken according to this person.

- Location of Sighting: Island Falls Saskatchewan, Flin
Flon Manitoba, Regina Saskatchewan, Calgary alta traveling that direction.
Photos taken, all across the provinces. Write-ups in all the newspapers.
I read ours on the radio and news reports. It was as large as a football
field and why are there no old reports? Our paper was afraid to print
it. Hundreds of witnesses saw it. It was in all the papers, now it's
hidden. Why?

- Full Description of event/sighting: It made no noise
and all red. It had blue lights drifting silently over the Hamlet
of Island Falls toward Calgary direction and spotted and reported on all
across Canada. It was a very big issue and no one spoke of it after
as if it was a taboo subject. We also had another when our company
smoke stack was added to, so the smoke would not fall on Flin Flon. Three
small flying disks flew around the top of the smoke stack for 15 minutes
and lots of pictures were taken and appeared in our little newspaper called
The Daily Reminder in of Flin Flon. I saved my paper and lost it in a fire
and can't get a copy of it (I tried) Why is this all kept hidden?
Is there a reason to hide it? Why don't someone write about this?

old style tweed coat and flat tweed hat.

- Full Description of event/sighting: Hello Brian, you
asked for ghost stories and I happen to have had a very strange, unexplainable
thing happen at my house years ago. It was approx: 9:00 in the evening,
and my wife and I were sitting in the living room of our 'just bought house'.
We had only just moved in a few months previously. Our house was built
in 1903 and was the first house built in our neighborhood, back when it
was mostly farmland and orchards. We had just finished dinner and were
sitting watching TV and relaxing after a hard days work at our respective
jobs. All of a sudden we heard a loud scraping noise coming from our basement
area, and our cat came flying up the staircase all puffed up and looking
completely insane and terrified at what he was seeing. He was staring bug-eyed
at the basement stairs, and from where I and my wife were sitting, we couldn't
see the area that the cat could.

- I jumped from my chair and ran into the kitchen where
'Hugo' the cat was now spitting and growling madly at the top steps. I
was in the process of trying to calm the cat down, when out of the corner
of my eye I saw a movement, and as I turned to see what it was I saw the
back of the figure of a man wearing a longish tweed coat and a flat old
styled tweed cap moving through what was our open bathroom door into our
bathroom. I stood speechless watching this 'person' disappear across the
bathroom and into our toilet area, with no apparent legs, it was just drifting
over the floor. I yelled to my wife what I had seen, and after finally
calming down a bit, I felt I should phone my father and see if everything
was alright with my parents. For some reason I thought I was seeing some
kind of premonition of someone's demise, but everyone was fine at my parents
house. I told my Dad what I'd seen and we talked about it for a bit, and
he suggested I make a search downstairs in the basement, and check the
floor joist patterns and see what was once built in the area directly above
and into what is now our bathroom.

- I did and found out that before the renovations and the
added on back part of our house, the back stairs had once been located
directly where the bathroom door now was situated, and whoever it was I
saw that night, was walking out on to a long gone staircase, and out into
our back yard. We've lived here now for 24 years and have had a couple
of other 'supernatural things' happen, but never another sighting of the
old guy in the tweed coat and hat.

- My First Ghostly Encounter - And Was It Freaky !

great and I do hope it will be around for a very long time. Thanks for
being there for every one of us that has had encounters.

- Anyway, it is rather quiet UFO wise, (thankfully). I
still spend a lot of my time searching trying to find out what the full
agenda is that is taking place..with regards to UFOs and extraterrestrials..I
will have to share my thoughts with you some time on that.

- But for now, I thought I would share a experience that
I had years back. It was my first Ghostly encounter in my life...
-
- This happened to me a number of years back. I was in
my home town and my buddy had asked me to move to his town and hang out
for a while. I kept putting it off. Then one day, I had nothing going on
and I thought, ahh sure what the heck. So I moved 4 hours away one hot
June afternoon.
-
- I pulled onto the street of my soon to be new place where
my buddy was already residing. As I got closer to the house I noticed something
white laying on the sidewalk by the grass in his yard. I pulled up in front
of the house and got out of my car. I then walked around the car and saw
that the white thing was his young cat laying there dead. The heat was
incredible for June. It had been 30 Celsius all that week and that day
wasn't any different. I slowly walked over to the cat and touched it, it
was ice cold, not cool, but ice cold dead. I went to the door and knocked.
My friend opened the door happy to see me until I said, "Umm, I think
that's your cat right there". Needless to say that he was very distraught
over the situation. It was a quiet week as I moved my stuff in and got
settled.

- One week after moving in, I started to notice little
things. I would pick up movements from my peripheral vision and when I
would turn towards the movement and there would be nothing. Things became
more obvious as time continued. If I went to another room and came back,
there would be things that had moved. At first, I thought it was my mind
playing tricks on me. Then things started to become more predominant. First
it was small things, like a glass of coke on the opposite end of the table
from where I had left it moments before I left the room.

- Then as timed passed more things started to happen. I
would leave a room then come back, only to find that everything had been
strewn around, papers, couch cushions end table pushed out from the couches.
-
- I didn't say anything to my friend as I didn't want him
to think I was strange, lol. So I continued to experience all these oddities
that I had no explanation for.
- One afternoon, I was sitting with my friend and his girlfriend
in the main floor living room. We were watching T.V. when I started to
hear things, well not exactly things. I heard someone walking around up
stairs right above me. The sound was coming from my bedroom. The sound
was of hard soled shoes walking around. I took the remote and turned down
the volume. My friend looked at me and said, "What? Why did you turn
that down"? I said "You can't here that"? He looked at me
strange for second. I said again, "Can't you here that"? He smiled
and said "you here something"? I said "yes". "someone
walking around"? he asked. I said "Yes". He then said "you
haven't met the ghost yet"? I was sort of in shock from his response.
I said "Ghost"? He said, "Yes we have one".

- I listened for another minute. I could here it so clearly
I knew exactly where in my bedroom the sound was and could follow it as
it walked around. I got up and went upstairs to investigate the sounds.
When I went there I couldn't see anything out of ordinary.

- More time passed and more things started to happen. I
would wake up in the night to sounds of pots and pans being banged around
in the kitchen. I would sneak downstairs quietly and hear all the banging
as I stepped towards the kitchen. I then would turn on the light and all
the banging would instantly stop.
- Things would disappear then show up in strange places,
like a hair brush in the freezer or a book in the oven. The biggest thing
that disappeared happened one afternoon. I came home and was alone there.
I went up to my room and was going to listen to music. My cassette tape
case was gone. It was fairly big, it held 40 cassettes. I searched the
whole house 3 times over and each time ending back in my bedroom. On the
3rd time around I gave up and thought that someone had stolen it. I went
back up stairs to my room. There in the doorway, the tape case was just
laying there. Had it been there the three other times I was up there I
would have stepped on it. I most certainly would have had to walk over
it to get in the room.

- That was when it really hit me. The capabilities of this
ghost. I picked up the case and sat on my bed. Lost for words and very
overwhelmed by the whole thing. Holding the case thinking, wow, something
actually had possession of this and had it somewhere whether it be in our
world or not. It really hit home, so to speak.

- By now my life was nothing but one big adventure. I was
always wondering what this entity was going to do next.
-
- It started to play games with me, doing things that would
have to make me move and change it back. I could be sleeping and suddenly
my bedroom light would turn on. I would have to get up and turn it off.
I would just get back into bed and the light would turn on again, this
would continue all through the night over many, many nights.
-
- Another time it was around 10 or 11 at night and I was
up in my room reading. I heard my doorknob turning and looked up as the
door opened up. I was thinking that my buddy was there or something. No
one was there. I got up and walked over shut the door and then went back
to reading while sitting on my bed. Suddenly the door would fly open again.
I would get up and shut it, making sure that it was closed tight and go
back to my book. This continued for about 2 hours. I then got tired of
getting up and left the door wide open and went back to reading. A
few minutes into my book again the door suddenly slammed shut with much
force. It scared the heck out of me. I think it got mad that I wouldn't
play it's games.

- Another night I was reading and I looked up for a minute
to rest my eyes from the hours of reading I had done. I looked up from
my book and noticed a flag that I had hanging straight down from my ceiling
by my bed was starting to wave back and forth. I had 2 other flags beside
it also hanging straight down from the ceiling. I found it odd that it
was moving as there was no air movement in the room. My window and bedroom
door were both closed. The movement continued across the bottom of the
flag. Soon the whole flag was waving. It continued onto the next flag the
same way, then to the third flag. I sat there my mouth wide open I am sure.
All 3 flags were now flapping like in a strong wind. I was very mesmerized
by it. After a few minutes they started to calm down. The exact reverse
of how they started. It was now about 4 or 5 months that I had been there
and I was very accustomed to all the happenings by then. It was very normal
to have it all going on all around me all the time I slept.

- I was awoken late one night to snapping sounds. The best
I could describe it, is the snapping of electricity. I sat up looking around
towards the far side of the room. I then looked over toward the bottom
of my bed. My heart jumped into my throat as I looked over towards my feet.
There at the bottom of my bed was a foggy apparition that looked like and
old man. he was not very tall maybe 5 feet high but he was very old. He
was hunched over, holding a walking stick that looked like a thick crooked
tree branch.

- I sat there not believing my eyes. He then turned his
head towards me and looked right at me. We both were motionless for what
seemed forever, but I am sure it was only a few minutes. I then started
to hear the electricity snapping again, all around me. I quickly looked
around the room to see what was what, then back to the entity. It
was starting to fade away and in about 30 seconds it was gone.

- I laid back down, but didn't sleep for a long time, my
heart was racing and I thought maybe there would be more things happening.
There wasn't, and I eventually went back to sleep.

- The next morning I told my friend what I had seen and
he laughed. He only heard sounds. He never saw anything happen the entire
time he was at the house.
- A few days later, I will never forget this. My buddy,
his girlfriend and I, were all sitting in the living room. It was a Friday
evening about 7 pm. We were sitting around making plans for the weekend.
All of a sudden there was a loud BANG. The best I could describe it, as
a shotgun going off in the same room. Like an explosion. It was so loud.
Everyone jumped. I looked over to my buddy and he was white as white can
be. I got up running to the stairs then up to my room.

- It seemed that most of the occurrences were based around
my room. My buddy closely followed. As I got to my room I stopped dead
in my tracks, my friend ran into me. There in my room, where my bed was,
there was a hole in the wall. It was a hole I had never seen anything like.
It was rectangle. About 2 1/2 feet by 1 foot. It was total rectangle but
it all went into 1 point. Like if you had tight bed sheets and pushed your
finger into it. It went in like that. Just to 1 point in the center of
the rectangle.

- I left that evening. I said it was to violent now and
I have to go. I went and stayed at a another friends place for month. I
then went back to my home town, 4 hours away.

- It was years later. A friends car had been stolen and
ended up in the city where the house was. I went along for the ride to
get the car as the police had recovered it. I told my story on the
4 hour drive there. I hadn't thought about it for years.
-
- The car was in a compound and we went to see if it was
drivable. It wasn't. So we left. My friend turned up the street as we left
the compound yard and we drove along. The next thing I knew I was back,
right in front of the house. The car we were in had stalled out directly
in front of the house. I will add that I was not driving and I did not
even have a clue where we were until I looked over at the house. I
was in shock. I had a very eerie feeling over me, goose bumps, hair
standing up. Not a nice feeling.

- The house had been planned for renovations since I left
as it was a war time house. But what I had seen was no front step. The
front door was a board, the windows were board. I got the feeling it didn't
really want me in there. We tried to get the car started and it wouldn't
start. We got out and pushed it thinking we could push start it, seeing
that it was a standard. We got off the same block as the house and the
car started right away with the ignition.

- We left and went back to my hometown. 4a.m. we got back
home and I called my buddy that I had lived in that house with. He had
left that house 2 weeks after I did. I told him I had been in town there
earlier and ended up in front of that house.

- He responded by saying "Bet you wish you were living
there now huh"?. He said" It looks really nice now huh"?
I told him what I had seen and he laughed.
- I thought, maybe he was pulling my leg. So I hung up
and called another friend in that same city and told her that I had been
in town by the house. She responded almost the exact same way adding that
it was such a nice looking house now. I hung from that call and thought
for a while. I decided to put it all behind me again.

- It was years after that incident that I was in the same
city again visiting a friend that had just moved out there. She was driving
when all of a sudden she took a quick turn. I knew exactly where I was,
the house was coming up again. I freaked, I said. "What are you doing?.
Why did you turn here"?, she said "I don't know". The car
stalled out at the beginning of the block of the house. I said, "That's
it, we have to get out of here". I got out and pushed the car back
off the block and away from the house. It started again first try. I said,
"Go...Go the other way. So she did. I then told her my story..

- That is just one of many experiences in my lifetime so
far, one big paranormal movie and I have UFOs and ET to contend with as
well. Seems never a dull moment in this life.

- One thing I learned at a very young age. Things certainly
are not as they appear to us.

- Kristiansand, Norway A Black Disk Shaped Object
And Red Beams Of Light (Graphic)

- Hello I searched the web after I had a sighting
and I found your site and came to discover that you had just the same
sighting as I just had in this speaking moment 3 hours ago here in
Norway.

- It was amazing, at first I just saw a huge
bright light in the sky right above the tree-line across my road over some
other residentials. It was so huge I called for a buddy of mine to
come and look, and told him that is not a star, "look at all the other
stars how small they are".

- So I ran away and got my telescope, and when I
it looked up I saw there was two white/bright lights fairly close
to each other, but in the middle to my amazement it had a red light beam
going downwards in a pattern movement. This was in between the two bright
round lights at each side of the disk.

- I had it in my sights for maybe 30 - 60 seconds and it
started to move! It went first right and behind the tree-line or the top
of a big tree so I could see it behind it. It then continued
passed the tree-line a while and then I could see that it kind of looked
like. Which was a black disk shaped object in the middle of those
two bright lights on each side. It was moving slow and then it turned again
and started to go back the same way towards it's original position. It
went passed that point and then towards me and my buddy, and almost over
us in the sky totally silent, no sound what so ever. We both saw this object
up and close in the scope for a fairly long time and also right overhead
of us in the sky. It was a great sighting and I just wanted to mail
you to see what you might think of it. Was it similar to your sighting
or maybe you know of these kind of UFO crafts that I was able to see.

- Hello Brian, I made a BMP file (changed to a jpg by HBCC
UFO) in mspaint for you, nothing fancy but I think you will be
able to understand how this object looked like, it's attached on the side
of this e-mail.

- As for the other questions you was wondering about. The
sighting was in Kristiansand ,Norway.
-
- The time of the sighting was some place between 21 and
24.
-
- Weather conditions, it was dark and cold and a totally
clear sky and you could see all the stars very easily.
-
- When it comes to the size of the object its hard to say,
all I can say is that when I used my telescope and zoomed in
on it when it was standing still, the two white lights on each side was
fairly small. Very similar looking to a star when you zoom in on it.
The red light in the middle was about the same size so if this object was
that high in the air this means those lights and the object had to be seriously
huge.

- But on the other hand those white lights could have been
very small as well, because when it went over me and was hovering over
the tree-line that seemed extremely close again. So that's all I can
say, it was totally silent when it went over me but then the object had
also become a little bigger I think. At least I remember seeing
those two white lights very clearly and apart from each other without the
telescope. That's about the best I can explain it all.

- Palm Harbor, Florida Six Circular Lights All Lined
Up

- Time: 7:40 p.m.

- Location of Sighting: US HWY 19/ CR90, Stone Gate Apartments
- Number of witnesses: 2
- Number of objects: 6
- Shape of objects: Circular lights.

- Full Description of event/sighting: Around 7:40pm my
friend and I were outside and we saw two circular lights in the
west sky flying around each other in a ying, yang formation. They came
from the north and where traveling south. A few minutes later two
more showed up. I started shining my laser pen at them for about 5 minutes. Two
more lights appeared they all kept doing the ying yang formation. At one
point all six of them where lined up. The sighting was 20 minutes long
and at the end they all just faded into the clouds. At 8:00pm a red ball
of light zig zagged in their direction and we herd a low humming noise
for about 30 minutes. After this the Coast Guard was all over the sky.
These might be the same lights witnessed on October 11 in Oldsmar, FL,
(5 minutes from me).

- North East of Selkirk Manitoba Light Beams Come From
The Clouds And Scan

- Location of Sighting: North East of Selkirk Manitoba.

- Full Description of event/sighting: While sitting in
a outdoor hot-tub with a friend she suddenly stopped talking and said what
the hell is that. I turned around to see three too four beams of light
coming through the clouds. This was a very cloudy and cold evening. I turned
off the music and the motor to the tub, we leaned are chins on the edge
of the tub and watched the lights and listened for any sounds. There were
no sounds coming from the direction of the lights. My guess is that the
lights (if they were to reach the ground) were no more then 300 yards
away. We watched as the lights seemed to be looking for something. As if
a person was standing on the clouds with a flashlight and looking for his
keys he dropped. At times there would be one beam and at others there were
six to eight. This would last for around five to eight minutes and then
they just left.

- Delta Marsh, North of Portage La Prairie, Manitoba Object
Behind Aircraft

- Time: 2:45 p.m.

- Unknown object in sky
-
- At 2:45 pm Oct.13/07, at the Delta Marsh, North of Portage
La Prairie, I saw an object in the eastern sky while watching a low-flying
aircraft approach me head on from the east. I was using my 8X50 binoculars
at the time and refocused on the object which appeared behind the small
aircraft and much higher. The object was totally white, moving south-easterly
from a due east position and neared the horizon within three minutes. There
was no contrail. The object had two prominent bulges from beneath a sway-backed
upper portion, with an elongated upper protrusion from the rear which narrowed
to an antennae-like shape. The front was similar,although thicker with
no antennae-like extension. There was no sound. The object had no aerodynamic
shape that I'm familiar with. The sky was cloudless and very little wind.

- Full Description of event/sighting: While driving
south on hwy 410 and watching a plane fly in front of me. A metallic grey
disc, very thin but about the size of a mid-sized car flies past my vision
of the plane and then surpasses the planes speed and is gone. Lasted about
3-4 seconds. It was traveling rather low, a couple hundred feet above the
ground and going from east to west along the Toronto Pearson Airports take
off flight routes. As soon as I seen it I told my wife, "look at that",
while trying to get my camera out all while driving, by the time I pulled
my camera out it was already gone. A few seconds more I would of had a
picture of it. My wife did not see it. This is also sighting number 2 since
September 28, 2007. I will forward proof of that one soon. I am friends
with (names removed). The next report I'm going to give you I have 3 witnesses
whom also have agreed to come forward. She has a video and I have a video
clip, also pictures of it, but this was also at night.

- Johnson City, New York Multi Colored Light

- Date: October 14, 2007
- Time: Between 12:00 and 1:00 a.m.

- Location of Sighting: Southeast, in the sky.

- Shape of objects: (Round).

- Full Description of event/sighting: This was a few nights
ago, on the 14th of October, 07 around 12:00 -1:00 a.m.
-
- I had gone out on my front porch to let my cat in, I
live in a fairly populated area with quite a bit of light pollution, but
I can still see stars and watch meteor showers from where I am. I
always look up if its a clear night, even if only to see stars.
-
- But I opened my front door, and called for me kitty,
I peeked out the door a bit to see if I could see him.
-
- I noticed in the sky what I thought for a few seconds
to be moving a bit faster than a plane, not much, but it was pretty bright.
And there's always planes flying around here so I didn't think much of
it, but I looked again for whatever reason and noticed that it really wasn't
moving, or had stopped moving maybe? I don't know. But it was brighter
than any stars in the sky, and bigger, maybe about the size of the north
star x4 or so and as soon as I started to actually look at it, I noticed
colors on it. This was very high in the sky, and quite far away. But the
colors were a sure thing, and to the naked eye, it looked like the wobble
of a planet (that twinkle look we see in some stars) but with 4 colors
to it, they were green, purple, red, and blue.

- I called my girlfriend out to 'come and look at this'.
She came out on the porch and said 'what' and I pointed to it. Immediately
she said, "Oh my gosh, what is that?"

- I said I don't know, but your guess is as good
as mine, and I told her to keep an eye on it while I went and grabbed the
binoculars, as I didn't think we had enough time to get the telescope out.
-
- So I ran back out with the binoculars, and got them focused
in on this thing real quick and noticed that it wasn't changing from color
to color like it looked without the binocs, but it was actually all of
those 4 colors I described earlier, simultaneously. I don't know if
there was any kind of pattern to it or anything, but I passed the binocs
to her and she was amazed, she just kept asking me what I thought it was...lol...hmmm.

- As she was looking thru the binocs, my neighbor came
outside and asked what was up. He always sees me outback looking at
meteor showers and what not. So I pointed it out to him and the first thing
he said to me is " whoa! what is that?" I told him the same
thing Id been telling my girl the whole time, "your guess is as good
as mine" and "what do you think it is?" The whole thing
lasted about 5-6 minutes, when a bunch of clouds came in and we could
see no more sky.

- This is the first time I've ever seen anything in the
sky with actual colors like this. Like an elaborate LED display or something.

- Full Description of event/sighting: My Mom and I were
on the way home when I saw a bright object, like car lights. But 6
of them over a field right next to us. Mom saw a light out of
the corner of her eye and pulled off to the side of the road, but the woods
were blocking it except for 1 row of lights, so we turned around and it
was gone. It looked like to me it was going 10 miles an hour and it
was going northwest from the car. When we saw it through the trees it was
going south from the car. It looked really low to be a airplane, but
the airport was 10 or 11 miles away and it was to bright and to big to

not hear a thing from it, but there was only a crack in the window and

was driving, I saw a flashing light like an airplane, but it was too
low to be an airplane and going super fast, much too fast for an airplane
other than a fighter jet. It was jetting low across the valley and
that's about all I have to report on that.

- Full Description of event/sighting: I'm not sure exactly
how to describe the shape, but it looked like a star kind of shape. I
was in my house and I got up to go to the bathroom and when I
got up, I saw a flash in some trees. So I kept looking and it
comes forward, toward my house and it was flashing green and blue lights.
It went above my neighbors house and after that I didn't bother looking
where it went because I was so scared. I'm only 14 and I was
the only one awake. At first I thought it was a plane, but this was
way to low to be one. This was object was really low to be a plane.

- Grand Forks, B.C. Ring Of Lights At Low Altitude

- Date: October 16, 2007
- Time: Approx: 10:15 p.m.

- The witness was closing his living room blinds
in their home when he saw a bright circular/round shaped light
in the sky. He thought it looked unusual so he walked out onto the
porch. The light was moving side to side and to different positions
in the sky, still at a very low altitude and at a distance away. It was
a cloudy night, no stars were visible and it's movement were just too
strange so he kept my eyes glued to it. It's brightness was approx:
the same as the planet Venus and the light kept dimming and coming back
brighter again and moving closer to his location. At it's closet point
is turned out not to be one single bright light, but a ring of numerous
white/blue lights, like a (Hoolahoop) as you were able to see the
ring shape of the object as it maneuvered around low in the sky. The witness
called out for his wife and children to come and watch, but soon after
he called out the object just blinked out, he said the sighting lasted
for a good 2 minutes or so and it may have been the size of his pickup
truck when looking at it at it's closet point.

- Fredericton, New Brunswick (Mactaquac Dam) Multiple Sighting
Of Objects

- Date: October 17, 2007
- Time: 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

- Location of Sighting: Mactaquac Dam.
- Number of witnesses: 3
- Number of objects: 15
- Shape of objects: 13 flying small orb lights V formation
and 2 rectangular.

- Full Description of event/sighting: I was fishing with
some buddies at the Mactaquac Dam, when I noticed a somewhat rectangular
object with 3 white lights on it that were also rectangular. It was really
big and maybe 150 to 200 feet away. It flew by and was hard to make out
the body of the object, but the lights were clear, then it disappeared.
About 15 minutes later I saw another rectangular object with the same rectangular
lights, only this time it was smaller and only had 2 lights. At first I
thought maybe it was a large military craft, but it was kind of low as
there were many airplanes in the sky and they were much higher. Then around
30 minutes later I saw 10 orb like objects flying in V formation. Once
again I thought it might be military planes, but they were moving erratic
and at high speed. Some of them would swoop out of formation and move in
circles then go right back in formation again, and then disappeared. The
last sighting was about 15 min later. This time there was 3 orbs flying
in V formation, but they were moving erratically. They would swoop in towards
each other then move back to the V formation, then it seemed like they
would become 1 orb then split into 2 then back to 3 in V formation. They
also disappeared after about 1 min. I noticed that someone in my town reported
a similar incident on Sept 8, 2007.

- Full Description of event/sighting: I was out on the
deck on the front of the ferry to Nanaimo from Gabriola Island on the 5:10
run with my camera and binoculars experimenting taking shots through the
bino eyepiece. I took about ten shots that way not being able to see weather
or not the shots were out of focus. I only discovered this image as I processed
and deleted all the rest but for this one. I was not aware of any craft
when taking the pictures. It is quite unmistakably lens shaped with the
sun reflecting from the other side in the late afternoon sunset.

looking for the Orion meteorite shower early,
- as we were looking all of a sudden this glowing orange
chevron sort of slid over the house it was totally silent and moving at
a high rate of speed. It vanished very quickly. We live near an airport
so are used to all sorts of airplanes...this was "not" an
airplane.

- Shape of objects: Could not tell the shape. I just saw
a bright blinking light.

- Full Description of event/sighting: I was walking home
from Market Mall in Calgary, AB Canada around 7:15pm on Oct 19th. It was
starting to get dark out and I and noticed what looked like to be a falling
star.

- It kind of had a crackling sound as it bounced across
the sky. I just expected it to just burn out but to my surprise I saw it
do a very quick controlled figure eight pattern in the sky! I just stood
there totally stunned at what I was seeing! It stopped mid air after the
very fast figure eight formation and started blinking one single bright
light. There was nothing that could have maneuvered the way this light
did!

- I couldn't see any shape which I thought was strange
because you can always tell if its a plane or helicopter even if is really
high up in the sky. The light kept blinking one single bright light. I
watched it move slowly southward over the hill top and out of view.

that there were other sightings that same night. Is this fairly normal?

- Time: Between l0:15 and 10:30 p.m.

- Just drove to Black Creek from Courtenay, B.C. and saw
a bright, large orange-yellow "ball" rapidly descending at about
a 45 degree angle in the Southern sky. Just as I said "What is that??",
it disappeared down in the trees. Don't have a clue what it could be,
but definitely something large and different!

the highway in Black Creek.) It was

- Indianapolis, Indiana A Small Explosion Like Lights

- Date: October 21, 2007
- Time: Approx: 12:10 a.m.

- Hi Brian, I had an experience last night, October 21st,
2007, in Indianapolis, IN (Northeast side, wooded residential neighborhood).
I was about to go to bed (about 12:10am) and I glanced out my window and
saw what appeared to be a bright star. I looked a little closer and realized
it was alot closer than a star. It seemed to be in my back yard, close
to the tree line. It had one really bright light that moved around and
varied in intensity. At times two lights appeared to each side of the
main light and gave off enough light to slightly illuminate its cone-like
shape. Bright enough to scare me bad, since I was alone. It was different
colors (yellow, orange, blue) and at times it dimmed enough to barely
be there but I could still see dim lights and slight hovering (up and down)
movements. At times there were small explosion like lights all around
the larger lights and twice horizontal lights that moved quickly across
the lower part of the shape quickly.

- It also had lights that shot down its sides in bursts.
I was so scared that I watched it until about 4:30 am. It didn't noticeably
move horizontally but over the course of the night moved lower into the
trees and towards the west of where I was at until it was just a glow behind
a tree. At that point I had to lay down from exhaustion and anxiety.
I googled: UFOs, Indiana, 2007 the next day and found your account of the
sighting in Leesburg, IN and the description was the same as I experienced.
I am still very shaken. Let me know if you have any questions about my
experience. Before my experience I did believe in UFO's but this experience
was extremely unexpected and horrifying since it was so close. Sincerely.

- A Chicago Haunted Home (Ghosts)

- Hi, Brian.
-
- I hope my stories aren't too late for your annual Halloween
ghost tales. We used to live in a house here in Chicago that the neighbors
said was haunted and I thought I'd tell you what one former owner experienced
and then relate what happened when we lived there.

- My husband and I bought the house in 1993 and we never
had any weird experiences except for one minor one when we were watching
TV one night and it sounded like somebody was coming down the stairs from
the second floor. No one else was in the house and the cat was sleeping
next to me on the sofa. I said to my husband "Didn't it just sound
like somebody was coming down the last 4 steps out there?" He laughed
and just said "Yeah." That was it; end of discussion. We forgot
about it.

- Fast forward a couple of years to a neighborhood party
we attended at a house across the alley from ours. I overheard one of the
neighbors say "Isn't that the house that used to be haunted?"
A couple of people laughed and I said "Oh, which one?" He pointed
out the white one with the red trim-our house. "Oh no," I said.
Then he proceeded to tell me that the woman who owned the house two families
before ours was there at the party and had stories to tell, so I went over
to her, introduced myself, and asked her to tell me her stories. Here's
what she said.

- A ghost definitely lived with her family. Her husband
laughed about it and liked it, but she frequently was on the receiving
end of pranks played by the ghost. This was typical poltergeist-type stuff.
For example, she would hear someone coming down the stairs, but when she
looked, no one was there. One day, she heard all four of the bedroom and
bathroom doors upstairs slam shut at once, but when she went up to investigate,
all the doors were standing open as she had left them. Then one evening
they had guests over for dinner. Her family and the guests were sitting
in the living room talking when all of a sudden several books came out
of the bookcases that flanked the fireplace, hung in the air, and then
fell to the floor. She got tired of these happenings, so she asked a priest
at her church to come over and bless the house. He did and all of the events
stopped. I'm not trying to promote anybody's religion here; I'm just relating
what she told me.
-
- Still, my husband and I never had any weird experiences.
Then, 10 years ago, we adopted a 14-month-old baby. She was our pride and
joy and still is. But as she grew up and started to talk, I began to realize
that sometimes she saw people in the house who I couldn't see.
-
- I know this sounds totally nuts, and I also know that
kids sometimes have imaginary friends, but this wasn't like that. She never
smiled when she told me what she saw; in fact she sometimes looked uneasy.
There were only 4 unrelated episodes and they all occurred when she was
between the ages of 2 and 4 12.
-
- My daughter's speech development was delayed, so she
spoke only single words until she was almost 3. Whenever she saw a man
walking down the street, she would point and say "Man!" and I'd
say, "Yes, that's a man walking." Once, when she was about 2
12, I carried her down into the basement so I could put some laundry into
the dryer and as we descended the stairs, she looked at the south wall
of the basement, pointed, and said "Man!" I said. "There's
no man there. Do you see a man?" She nodded yes. I became unsettled,
remembering the former owner's stories, and said "What does he look
like?" "Beard," she said. I assured her there was no man
and proceeded with the laundry.

- The second time it happened, my daughter was 3 12. We
were walking down a short hallway from the dining room into the kitchen,
she trailing behind me. I reached the kitchen and my daughter turned behind
her and said, "Santa Claus is in the dining roomOh! Now he's coming
in here!" She ran to me with a troubled look on her face. Again, I
assured her no one was there.

- Another time, when she was about 4 years old, we were
sitting at the dining room table. She was coloring and I don't remember
what I was doing, maybe going through some papers. Suddenly, out of the
blue, she said, "I'm not a boy!" I said, "I know you're
not a boy. Who says you're a boy?" "He did," she said. "Who?"
I asked. "That boy right there," she said, pointing to the chair
across from me. ""You see a boy sitting in that chair?"
I asked. She nodded. I said, "I don't see any boy." I didn't
know what to say next. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it or to
scare her, but I wanted to know more. "What's he wearing?" I
asked. "Those kind of jeans that go" and she gestured with her
hands up and down near her shoulders. I took it to mean bib overalls. I
said nothing more, but I was quite ill at ease and suggested we do something
in the family room instead.

- The last time it happened, we were in the car outside
of our house, coming back from doing errands. She had fallen asleep in
her car seat in the back seat and I let her sleep for awhile as I sat in
the driver's seat. It started to get dark, so I woke her up. She awoke
with a start, looked into the front yard and said "Who are those people?"
I asked "What people?" "Those people sitting under the bushes,"
she said. I told her no one was under the bushes and it was time to go
in. After some fussing, she agreed. I realize this time it could just have
been a dream she was having, but I'm including it anyway, given the previous
occurrences.

- After that, she never seemed to see anyone else in the
house (who I couldn't see). It seems as if the older she got, the less
able she was to detect anything. She's 11 now and remembers nothing. I've
never told her about these experiences. Maybe I will when she's older.
I'd be very interested to hear about anyone else who has had a child with
similar experiences. Thanks, Brian for letting me tell my stories. I appreciate
