- United Kingdom Ghost Story (Figures Had Come Through Their
Room)

- Hi Brian, I wondered if you might like this true ghost
story from over here in the UK.

- It was a long time ago now, about forty three years,
when my brother and I were little boys of about three and four years old
respectively. At that time we lived in an old cobble-stone cottage in Norfolk
that is no longer there, a housing estate of bungalows having been built
there for several years now. Anyway, on more than one occasion we were
disturbed by something coming through our bedroom. This 'something' was
so upsetting to me that I screamed my head off until mother came up to
see what was wrong. My dad wouldn't come at first because he said my scream
was so unearthly he was scared! I can remember being absolutely terrified.
My mother asked us what was wrong and we explained that figures had come
through our room. Now, in actual fact my brother can remember what we saw
better than I can, even though he is the youngest. I can distinctly remember
seeing a soft light moving around the room in a weird way and being utterly
witless with fear, whereas my brother can remember seeing a rather large
woman with dark red hair running through our room and disappearing through
the far wall.

- He knew she was running because he saw her cheeks puffing
in and out. We also saw a medieval type of woman, at any rate, she must
have been medieval because my mother got us to draw pictures of what we
saw the next morning and they showed details of that period of dress we
couldn't have known about
- beforehand. Bear in mind that each subsequent drawing
we did got more scary with our childish imaginations, so it's fair to say
that the first ones were probably the most accurate. These showed a lady
in a long dress with a 'wimple' on her head, this is a pointed hat that
held a veil aloft and trailed it down her back. I can distinctly remember
drawing these pictures. We saw these ladies on more than one occasion and
I was terrified each time. It is because my brother and I both remember
this that I think proves it was a genuine experience - and my mother and
father can remember coming up to us of course. Besides, I can still recall
the utter terror I felt at the time.

- Strangely, on one occasion I can vividly remember seeing
a small, diamond shaped thing moving about between our beds, although this
may have been part of something larger, such as a figure. Nevertheless,
I thought it strange because it was visible in the darkness, and sort of
pale in colour, but without emitting much light. It was weird.

- After we moved away, the cottage was knocked down to
make way for the new homes and whenever we passed the site we noticed that,
as often as not, the bungalow on the site of the cottage always seemed
to be for sale.

- Anyway, it gives me Goosebumps just recalling this as
it was definitely something real and very odd. No wonder the poor little
boy that was me was so scared! Interestingly my brother was perhaps too
young to fully appreciate what it was because when my mother came up the
stairs the first time and asked us what was wrong my brother simply replied
"I saw a shadow".

- Family Ghost Story From The 1940s Onward - British

- I noticed your category for ghost stories and thought
I'd add a bit to your collection. However please be forewarned, it is not
dramatic. No chains or moaning! More like just an unusual family member.

- My family has always had ghosts. As a young boy living
in Vancouver and Alert Bay my father sometimes saw people who were not
there and my mother once watched a group of people disappear right in front
of her. She was 15 years old and walking down a street near her home in
Vancouver. Coming towards her on the sidewalk but on the next block, was
a group of about a dozen people. The first thing she noticed was their
odd clothing, very old fashioned. She then realized that although they
appeared to be talking and laughing there was no sound of voices or of
feet on the sidewalk. They reached the corner of their block and turned
down the side street just before my mother reached the end of her block.
She looked around the corner and although they should have been just a
short distance away there was no sign of them. For people who live in Vancouver
this was in the Kits area around 4th and happened about 1930.

- When my parents married in Prince George in 1942 they
built a house near the south side of Connought Hill. In those days that
was quite far out of town and very quiet, particularly at night. During
the winter of 1943 the ghost arrived.

- It announced its arrival by walking up the steps to the
front door shortly after my parents went to bed. They could hear the footsteps
squeaking in the dry snow as it came up the stairs right outside the bedroom
window. No matter how quickly they jumped out of bed and looked out the
window they saw nothing unusual. However within 10 minutes of going back
to bed a hazy white light about four feet tall would drift past the bedroom
door. It never seemed to do any harm and they eventually got used to it.
In the summer they never heard it arrive but one of them would notice it
go by and calmly comment that the ghost was back. Mom used to wish there
was some way of getting it to do housework if it was going to be wandering
around all night! Three years later we moved to the Okanagan Valley in
British Columbia and dad built another house that we lived in for 12 years.
Sure enough, before long the ghost was again drifting through the hallways.
Then for several years it was gone until one night I awoke to see it float
past my bedroom door. The next morning my mom was a bit excited. Before
I could say anything about the ghost she said "Guess what? The ghost
is back and this time I saw it take a shape!" She had woken up to
see a white hand and arm reaching towards the bedside lamp. Thinking it
was my dad she reached out and turned on the light. Of course there was
no one there and my dad was deep asleep.

- We then moved to Victoria and this time we rented a house
instead of building one. It took the ghost about six months to join us.
Over the years my parents rented four more houses before buying the one
I live in now. Yes, the ghost went with us to every one of them. It was
never more than just a white haze until the late 1960's. Then it took on
a very familiar shape. One afternoon my parents were sitting in the living
room when Timmy, our Border Collie, walked through the room and down a
hallway toward the bedrooms. As he went by he gave them a rather unusual
look. A few minutes later they heard him barking. He was outside and wanted
in. He never had been in the house and walking through the room. No, there
were no open windows or doors. My parents checked! The ghost was changing
and not always for the better! A few months later my parents were again
in the living room when they heard a loud crash in the kitchen. They found
that a big bottle of wood stain that was normally at the back of one of
the upper kitchen cabinets had somehow come out of the cupboard (the door
was still closed) the lid removed and placed on the counter and the bottle
thrown against the opposite wall. However, as that was the worst damage
that it ever did, we all just accepted that it was there and pretty well
ignored it.

- Just as an aside, around this time my parents saw two
people disappear on the sidewalk outside the house. One afternoon they
happened to notice four people walking along the sidewalk, two women in
front and two men very close behind them. They were dressed in oddly old
fashioned clothes and were bunched so close together that mom and dad thought
the men would be stepping on the ladies dresses. For a very brief moment
they were out of sight as a tree blocked part of the view from the house.
All four went behind the tree and only the two women came out. The tree
was near the house, nowhere near the people. The women did not appear to
notice the men were gone. There was nowhere the men could have gone and
dad even went outside to look. Nothing.

- Many years later my younger brother was visiting our
house with his wife and baby. I was married no longer living there. They
were staying in the bedroom across the hall from my parents. During the
night my mother suddenly awoke. A few minutes later the baby started to
scream. Just as my brother got up in the dark to see to the baby, a basketball
sized ball of light shot down the hallway. Immediately the baby stopped
crying. Everyone was so startled they all got up and went into the living
room. There, even with the lights on, they saw a couple of smaller balls
of light bouncing near the ceiling in the corner of the room. It was very
brief and then they were gone.

- As the years went by the appearance changed. My mom died
and dad still lives with us in the house. He and I have both seen a new
shape. This one is shaped like a very narrow black hockey stick (not my
idea of a ghost at all!) and darts around very quickly. I saw it first
on Christmas Eve in 1992 but never mentioned it. A few days later my dad
told of an odd black shape he'd seen darting through the house. the description
matched exactly what I had seen. Other than changing size from tall to
very short it doesn't really do very much except run around.

- As I said at the beginning, our ghost is not dramatic,
thank goodness! I would not be surprised if lots of people have similar
"beings" but don't even really notice. However there were some
rather strange, unsettling and dramatic events that took place during this
time. One ghost (or angel?) even saved my life. Right now is not the time
to go into it all but if you'd like I'd be happy to give you the details
at a later date. Closer to Halloween perhaps! Now, in spite of the fact
that I say the ghost didn't really frighten us, it is getting late, I am
home alone and there is no light in the house except from the computer
screen. I think I'd best stop for now before I start to hear strange noises
! I'm not quite as brave as I like to think I am.

- Ghostly Presence Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia

- Hi Brian. Seems like Halloween will quickly be upon us.
I don't know if you are planning to invite people to write into you re.
any ghostly or unusual happenings again this year but a few days ago I
recalled an incident which happened to me back in the mid 70's I believe
either the summer of 75 or 76. I thought I'd sent it to you a few years
back but don't see it listed. I know I did sent it to the late Graham Conway
and he was kind of interested but that was all that came of it.

- Summer 1975 or 76, approx: 4:05 a.m.
-
- At the time I was working as the security supervisor
on the graveyard shift in Pacific Center Mall located in downtown Vancouver,
BC. We used to rotate positions each hour. I had just been relieved at
the security desk at 4 am and headed out into the mall. At that time of
the night the mall was usually deserted so as I passed Holt Renfrew I stopped
to admire a jacket which they had on display. The price appeared to be
$40. So I had been contemplating coming back on payday and purchasing it.
I had only been there for a few moments when a little man came walking
out from behind a rack of clothes. He was short, probably less than 5 ft.
had reddish hair with sideburns and was wearing a green boller hat and
a long green coat with tails and looked for all the world like one of Walt
Disney's Leprechauns. At almost the same time as I saw him, he happened
to glance my way and looked visibly startled to see me. We stared at each
other for a moment and then as I grabbed for my radio he grinned at me
and with a little wave of his hand disappeared behind another rack of clothes
in front of me, to my left.

- I quickly radioed the desk that we had an intruder and
to get the police. Within in minutes we had four officers and a dog. I
told them what I'd seen and then took them to the back of the store to
let them in. I had the guard on the desk report to the Alarm Company that
we were entering and then I shut of all the alarm systems. As the officers
and I entered the store we couldn't help but notice all the alarm detectors
and we all were wondering how anyone could be moving around without triggering
them. I took them to where I'd seen the little man and the dog was let
loose. It only took a few moments for the dog to check out the store with
negative results. While the dog was running around I took a closer look
at the coat of my desires. Turned out the price tag had been partially
obscured by a fold in the coat and it was $400., not $40. So much for that
dream. I let the officers out the rear door and then reset all the alarms
and met them back in the mall. They were all shaking their heads and looking
at me kind of sideways. I walked them back to the main entrance to the
mall and saw them on their way and then after speaking to the guard on
the desk returned into the mall. Once again I paused in front of Holt Renfrew
and once again the same little man appeared from behind the clothes rack
where I'd last seen him.

- Again he stopped for a moment and gave me a sly grin
and then raised his hand and gave me the famous one fingered salute and
then stepped behind the same rack where I'd first seen him. Once again
I radioed for the police. The same four officers showed up with the dog
and once more we went through the procedure and once more the dog searched
the store with no results. By this time even the dog seemed to be looking
at me sideways. Once again the officers were looking at me and shaking
their heads. I assured them I was not sleepy and had not been hallucinating
but they were still shaking their heads as they walked back to their cars.
Thank God I did not ever see the little man again while I was working that
location.

- Dogs Senses The Presence Of A Ghost

- Hi Brian, You asked for ghost stories so here come some
more! Actually this is about three different dogs and three different ghosts.
-
- We all know that animals sense things that we humans
aren't consciously aware of. That is why when a dog sees a ghost you really
know something strange is there!
-
- The first story is about my German Shepherd/wolf cross.
In Victoria where I live there are many locations known to have resident
ghosts. A popular location for ghost hunting is the Oak Bay Golf Course,
isolated, quiet and looking out over the ocean. One night my mother and
I decided on a whim to leave the house about 11 P.M. and go look for the
ghost. We took my dog with us. After an hour of sitting in the car and
staring out over the golf course we had seen nothing at all resembling
a ghost. We decided to give it another 10 minutes then go home. I then
noticed a white haze forming across the greens and near some bushes on
the edge of the ocean. So did my mom. We both acknowledged that what we
were looking at could be normal fog or even our active imaginations. Then
suddenly from the back seat my dog began a low growl. I turned and looked
at him. He was on his feet (he'd been asleep up until then) hackles up
and staring at exactly the spot we'd been looking at. The white haze was
getting thicker and the dog was getting more agitated. Mom and I looked
at each other, looked at the dog and then looked at the white fog slowly
becoming more solid. We left!

- The second dog story took place in Yaletown in Vancouver.
My daughter lived in a seventh floor condo with her Border Collie. She
had a corner condo and her windows looked down four floors to a storage
locker building roof across the alley and along the alley below. Late one
night she awoke to the sound of her dog barking non- stop in the living
room. This was very unusual. Her dog seldom barked and had never barked
indoors. The alley below was often very busy as it was a convenient shortcut.
She had heard parties, fights and gun shots but it had never bothered the
dog. Concerned she got up and found her dog staring at the window overlooking
the alley. She would not stop barking until my daughter got quite firm
with her. She then continued to quietly whine. Of course my daughter looked
out the window to what was disturbing her dog. She opened the window so
she could see the full length of the alley. Right away she heard two women
talking. She also very clearly heard their footsteps. The only problem
was there was no one there. For security purposes that alley was very brightly
lit and there were no alcoves or doorways that a person could stand in.
As she listened and watched she heard them walking towards her from the
far end of the alley, pass right under her window and then continue to
the end of the alley and around the corner. Although she could hear them
very clearly talking and laughing and their foot steps, which sounded like
they were walking on wet pavement (it was dry), there was no one in sight.
The moment they "appeared" to walk around the corner the sounds
stopped and the dog stopped fussing and curled up and went to sleep. The
dog never again barked in the condo and my daughter never again heard the
sounds of invisible people.

- My last dog story took place near a large city in mid
Canada. I am purposely vague about locations since the man who told me
this story is reluctant to talk about it and I don't want to say anything
that might identify him. I know him very well and have absolutely no reason
to doubt his story. It happened several years ago. For reasons that aren't
important to the story he, his wife and three dogs were staying in a very
large but empty campground for a couple of months. Their tent was quite
far from the others and on the edge of a large field. One evening the dogs
were restless and not interested in eating or playing. When my friends
went to bed the dogs, who were tied right outside the tent, had a hard
time settling. Shortly after midnight the dogs started to whine and growl
and the man got up to see what was going on. He noticed the dogs were looking
out across the empty field so he looked that way as well. The sky was clear
and there was a bright moon shining. At the far edge of the field he saw
a woman slowly walking towards them. She was easy to see in her long white
dress. She was walking slowly but definitely in their direction and the
dogs were jumping and spinning in their agitation. The man's first thought
and concern was that it was another camper who was sleep walking. As she
was obviously heading directly towards their tent he wanted to intercept
her before she got tangled with the dogs. He walked a little way towards
her then noticed something very strange. The field was not flat. It had
bumps and hollows but she was floating across all the hollows. She was
just above the ground. By now the dogs had given up barking and were huddled
together whimpering. The man just stared, then realized the woman would
be passing in front of the car. He waited until she was directly in front
then reached in the open window and turned the headlights on.
- She instantly disappeared, the dogs sighed and went to
sleep. He looked around, went back to bed but stayed awake. His wife slept
through the whole event was quite annoyed the next morning to find out
what she had missed. The lady in white never returned and the dogs never
had another bad night.

- One Famlies Ghost Encounters

- Hi Brian, We have a couple of ghost stories amongst my
family members and my husband and I.
-
- 1. When my Mother was a child, her my Grandmother used
to chastize her for throwing a ball up and down the stairs leading to the
second floor of the house. My Mother wouldn't stop it, and she stood at
the top of the stairs and let the ball drop so it would bounce down the
steps. My Grandmother appeared at the foot of the stairs before the ball
arrived and all of a sudden it bounced back up the stairs to my Mother.
My Mother was a mere child, I wasn't even thought of then, but it freaked
her out so much that she told my Sister and I this story when we were youngsters.

- 2. Another story that my Mother told my Sister and I,
took place when our Mother was but a child. She was with her Grandmother
and Grandfather, my Great Grandparents and all of a sudden they all heard
the wolves outside. my Great Grandmother opened the door and threw out
some salted pork. . . the howling eventually stopped, this was in winter.
. . it was later in the night when suddenly there was a knock at the door
and it was a man who was begging for a drink of water. My Mother has often
wondered if that man was somehow responsible for the howling that had taken
place earlier in the evening.

- 3. My Mother-in-Law died and she has been talking to
us via our coffee makers ever since her ashes arrived in our home. We have
gone through many coffee makers and have found no other excuse other than
they are being used for some unknown soul to communicate with us. I know
it sounds weird, but every coffee maker would make buzz noises long after
the brewing was done and we'd say, "hi mom!" and the buzzing
would continue for awhile. Some coffee makers were not even plugged in
and would turn themselves on. My husband and I witnessed that...spookey
eh?

- 4. In one of the houses we lived in, I was in the basement
where the laundry machines were and I was reaching for an ashtray when
all of a sudden it slide across the counter and to my hand. There was no
condensation...wetness under the ashtray, nor was the counter on a slope.
Lightbulbs were always bursting in that house too.

- 5. We have moved from the above mentioned house and I'm
un aware of any ghost visits, our new coffee maker will at times flood
the counter with coffee when there's no known excuse for it not to fill
the caraffe instead...between my husband and I, we can't figure out what
we have done to cause the flood, it's really irritating, also this new
coffee maker doesn't buzz at all, it just makes messes. hehehe.

- Northern Ontario Unusual And Unknown Phenomena

- Time: Approx: 8:00 p.m.

- Full Description of event/sighting: Around 8:00 pm in
early Fall in 1962 my family (parents and siblings plus a young neighbor)
were enjoying an evening watching TV. I had just finished having a shower
and was just about to exit the bathroom when I heard a tremendous crash
from out side the door (in the hallway). I immediately opened the door
from the bathroom into the hallway and saw my whole family standing in
the hallway looking at the ceiling. They were looking at the entrance to
the attic which was an opening in the ceiling covered by a three quarter
inch thick piece of plywood about two feet square. The attic cover had
risen up by itself four feet into the attic and then came crashing down
so hard that it splintered into dozens of pieces all over the floor. The
cover was particularly heavy and required two hands to move it if one wanted
to enter the attic (no-one ever did). There were no drafts noticeable to
anyone in the house and no seismic or weather events that may have had
anything to do with the phenomena. I moved to California 6 months later
and heard from my mother that the same thing occurred once more before
the whole family moved to California later that year (1963).

Hot Pursuit Of A UFO !

- Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, my husband
and I sent you our sighting report of 12 white orbs that we saw and photographed
over Los Banos, CA on August 28, 2005, which you posted. You have asked
for older reports so I am attaching a sighting my girlfriend and I had
in 1969 which involved two jets chasing after a UFO spotted near the Fresno,
CA Airport.

- Clovis CA, June, 1969 It was about 10:00 P.M. on a warm
clear evening mid - June of 1969. I had just graduated from High School
and my best friend and I were sitting outside my home enjoying the clear
dark sky and brilliantly shining stars. On a whim, we decided that we wanted
to go to a late-night market in Fresno, about five miles away and buy some
magazines to read. We got into my car and began to drive south to a shopping
center near the Fresno Airport.

- Along the way we decided to take a short cut on a small
road adjacent to the airport which was flanked by an open field. We turned
right onto the small two-lane road and were now driving along side the
field and which was several hundred feet away from the fenced area near
the end of the airport runway, which we could see clearly, including buildings
and planes of the local Air National Guard. There were no street lights
and the road was dark with no traffic, except for us. As we drove by we
could see that most of the airport activities had stopped for the evening,
which was normal, as no aircraft landed or took off from there at that
time of night. 'We continued down the road talking, when I noticed my
friend leaning forward in the passenger seat staring up at something
in the sky. She motioned to me to look out my driver's side window saying
"what is that?"

- I looked out the window and saw an intense white strobing
light hovering above apparently keeping pace with my car. I slowed down
and it continued to follow at the same pace. As our windows were down,
we most certainly would have heard an engine, was it a plane, but it made
no noise at all. Not knowing what we were seeing, I pulled over, stopped
the car and we both got out to take a better look. We were mesmerized by
the intense white light of the object which now appeared diamond shaped
and strobing quickly as it hovered above us. It was hard to estimate its
altitude and size, but we guessed at arms length it would have been the
size of a basketball. By now two other cars had come up behind us and had
pulled off the road to look as well. Within moments the object started
to move away from us, and began to pick up speed. All of a sudden we heard
the roar of jet engines and looked up to see two military jets lifting
off the runway in hot pursuit of this object.

- The jets passed directly over us - so close that we could
see the landing gear retract. We watched as the jets tried to close on
the object. We were in a flat area of land and we could clearly see the
object and jets streaking away from us heading due west. As the jets began
to close on the object the object slowed and appeared to hover over the
jets as if teasing them, and then it made an incredible 90 degree turn
with several jerking, zigzag movements and shot off at tremendous speed
to the South directly over downtown Fresno. The jets were left in its wake.
We immediately jumped back into the car and decided to head home to tell
our families what we had just witnessed.

- It was about 10:45 PM when we reached the main intersection
of town where we were stopped waiting the signal light to change. Suddenly
all of the signal lights, and street lights started flashing on and off,
including the caution lights at the train tracks which were directly in
front of us beyond the intersection. A large bolt of electricity shot down
a power line near the road, arcing and snapping till it got to the end
and dissipated. We sat there watching these lights flashing on and off
around us for about 3 - 4 minutes and then they all stopped and the signal
turned green. We looked at each other and I floored it through the intersection
and didn't let off the gas till we got to my friends home only
a few blocks away.

- When we pulled up to her house, some of the neighbors
were all outside talking excitedly about what had just happened with the
lights in the neighborhood. Of course they asked us if we saw it and we
told them that we had witnessed that - and more. Wanting to confirm what
we had seen earlier, we ran inside the house to phone the airport. Incredibly,
the call was answered by a man in the control tower. I told him we had
observed something in the sky close to the airport less than an hour ago
and asked him if two National Guard jets had taken off to check it out.
I was told point-blank that no planes had taken off at all that night.
I asked him again, if he was sure, and he told me once again that no planes
had taken off.

- We knew we weren't going to get any further with him
and we also knew he had to be lying as we saw the jets with our own eyes
and had close enough to read the numbers on the planes. We told our families
about what we had seen and received polite, yet insincere statements like
"wow that must have been something". But we knew they didn't
believe us. There was nothing in the local news the next day about a strange
object in the sky or equally strange power surge and nothing was ever said
about it again - except between my friend and me. We've recounted
that night many times over the years, even up to this day. We know
what we saw; we know what happened.

- I just read the Transcona Manitoba report (and letters)
on your site. Oddly enough on the 8th of October on abovetopsecret (which
I had just started posting on this month) I posted my story which took
place in the late 70s about 30km North of Winnipeg in the RM of Rockwood.
The Transcona triangle sighting reminded me eerily of my own sighting (although
mine was at night) which would have occurred around the same year(s) proposed
by the Transcona letter.

- The following is my story:
-
- Before I start, I'll explain my father was involved in
rocketry, and worked in a rocket manufacturing plant located about 20 -
40 miles from my home in a rural area of the Canadian prairies. Because
of this, I was quite familiar with seeing man-made aircraft including military
aircraft etc. And I knew what they looked like at night. One of the advantages
I guess of having a father who worked in the military/industrial complex"
as it were I guess, is you have exposure and access to a lot of pictures,
booklets, were taken to air-shows etc.

- When I was young, about 14 or maybe 15, so this would
be in the late 70s, my brothers and I were allowed to stay up late as my
Aunt and her daughters were over for a barbeque. It was a perfectly clear
evening, but as it got later there wasn't much in particular for me (and
the other kids who were "played out" and tired) to do. So I began
staring at the stars. While looking Northward about oh say 35/40 degrees
up from the horizon, I noticed a funny star, and when I looked closer it
was actually 3 stars in the form of a triangle. Only, it quickly dawned
on me these weren't 3 separate stars, these were all part of one object
that was rotating and the lights at the corners of the triangle rotated
in a counter-clockwise direction, fairly slowly, and the object itself
moved slowly left and then slowly right.

- Then astonishingly, the ship zipped off. It crossed a
good portion of the night sky in only a heartbeat. It was absolutely an incredible
speed, unbelievable speed judging from the height of the object that would
have been a huge distance to move. But I still managed to follow the movement
(with some difficulty) and saw the object (still slowly rotating counter-clockwise).
The object stood stationary for a few moments then whoosh - went back to
the relative position I had originally viewed it at. At this point I knew
it was something not-of-this-earth and pushed my younger brother to go
get the binoculars while I kept watch of the object. By the time my brother
got back the object had made a few shorter distance "hops" and
by the time I put the binoculars in hand I just caught a new arrival -
another object - a second set of triangle lights that came in (from nowhere
it appeared?) and slowly joined the original. Through the weak binoculars
you could clearly see 3 distinct lights in the form of a triangle, and
from time to time in the counter-clockwise rotation a light that seemed
to come into view on top of the object (this was without a doubt a 3-dimensional
object). Both craft continued to come very close to one another. My mother
at this time finally was curious as to what we were doing and came over
to see what the fuss was.

- She looked in the area of the sky my brother and I witnessed
the objects in. but she didn't seem to see what we were trying to show
her. Although I think she saw more than she let on, but wanted to not scare
us - or she may have not caught a glimpse of the two objects spinning in
the night sky - she had been drinking most of the evening. At that point
she decided we needed to call it an evening and get to bed. So we left
the backyard and our vigil and did as we were told.

- Growing up I remember some evenings waking up terrified
in bed for no apparent reason as though I had a nightmare but couldn't
recall the dream. Some nights I would have an overwhelming irrational fear
before going to bed as well. I did have a morning when I awoke and experienced
"sleep paralysis" I couldn't move although my brain was
awake and I could see. I've noticed that this/these types of experiences
sometimes occur to people who have witnessed UFO phenomena.

- Anyways, it was that evening I knew, without a doubt
that there is intelligent life outside of our little ball of dirt, and
that they were visiting us. I have continued to watch the skies, and continue
to catch glimpses now and then of things I can't easily explain.

on Baumgartner RD. At 2:00am. I saw a round fire ball about 50 feet in
diameter with a fire tail about 150 feet. This object was close. From where
I was at, it was approximately 1/4 of a mile away and 3 miles in altitude.

- I have noticed people referencing this "white orb",
some times, 1, some times 2 at a time, and at times 3. Since I've
come to your site, I have been paying alot more attention to the sky and
I live on 40-some acres of space so the sky is huge, if you follow my meaning.
I live in an A-frame, so all of my viewing was done from a balcony off
the upper loft, above the tree lines.

- On several occasions during September and so far this
October/07 I have seen such orbs. At first I thought they were satellites,
but satellites don't zig-zag, or follow each other traveling in the same
directions, satellites do not move with warp speed and disappear. These
orbs are just white lights, they don't have any flashing lights, they don't
have any colored lights, but they are in the sky more often than not and
make no sound that I can hear. Quite a few planes and helicopters travel
over us, on the way to the Ottawa or Montreal Airports or Ottawa hospitals,
I recognize all of these types of flyers, but I'm at a loss as to what
these white orbs, or globes I've see, actually are.

- Sometimes I have seen what people term as a 'shooting
star' but I have seen those too at times in my life, but I have witnessed
a so-called shooting star that stopped abruptly and was actually one of
the above mentioned white orbs. It will stay stationary until another orb
is in the vicinity and then they will all disappear, vanish, out of site.
I have checked for cloud coverage on these night sightings and have known
that the sky was clear. Thanks.

staring out the window looking out at what I thought was a plane to
the west over Whitby. Suddenly all I saw was a bright green flash
and it was gone. Puzzled I went to the window to double check and
nothing was there.

- Full Description of event/sighting: I went outside for
a smoke after dinner. When I looked up I spotted a glowing amber rectangular
object with a multicolored assembly of geometric shapes I can't exactly
describe directly beneath it at very close proximity. It was no more than
1/4 to 1/2 a mile away at maybe 1500-2500 feet. I went into my home and
grabbed my binoculars from the table and quickly went back out front. I
immediately saw the objects with my eyes and focused the binoculars on
them. Though they (it) had moved some distance to the east, it appeared
exactly like when I first saw it. It was very steady in it's movement. The
unidentifiable thing below the Amber rectangle then flipped over, maintaining
it's position below the rectangle. Two of my neighbors were walking
down the street approaching, and I said look at the UFO. In moments they
both caught sight of it and I had the impression they were frightened.
One said "It's a helicopter". I told them I'd seen it through
my binoc's and it was not a helicopter.

- They continued on their walk and I again trained my binoculars
on the objects. Which had reversed direction and now were moving west.
The rectangle maintained it's equilibrium and was steady, no wobble or
rotation at all. The geometric shapes did another flip, just steady
one moment, then flip to opposite. I heard a jet approach, inbound to our
local airport, McCellan Palomar. I looked for the jet through the binoc's,
thinking no problem, I can catch the object again. I saw the approaching
jet and looked for the object. It was gone just like that. There's no way
a normal thing could have disappeared so quickly. Then I observed a contrail
that seemed to have come from nowhere, right where I last sat the flying
object. I have described a rectangle, but for the life of me, even though
I saw the other shapes, that were part of a solid object, I can't describe
them except as geometric, reflective and multi colored, red green blue
and gold. Duration of all was 4 minutes.

- Full Description of event/sighting: Went out for a smoke
in my backyard, partially under the balcony, at 4:28 a.m.. Was just over
half way through my smoke (machine handmade), when the sky went from dark
to like it is when there's a full moon. Looked up, and there was a large
brilliant - brighter than the moon- object in the sky, it zoomed up, getting
dimmer as it rose, then disappeared. The light obscured its shape. It looked
pretty close to the ground - 500ft, 1000ft? - not sure, and it scared the
hell out of me - ever since we saw the 150 footer up close I've been scared
of them, wasn't scared around them before that. I ducked under the balcony,
reasoned that if they wanted to do anything to me hiding there wouldn't
help, went out from under the deck, and looked up. Didn't see anything,
whatever it was, it was gone. Finished my smoke, went inside, went to the
front of the house, went out in the front yard/area, looked, nothing. Went
back inside quick. I was still freaking scared, checked the time, it was
5:01:30 a.m.. I've been seeing UFOs for years, all different kinds
of them, from far away to up close, both alone, with family, and with friends,
first started in Courtenay in 96 or 97.

- Seen as many as 23 at a time in the sky. My younger
daughter has seen a alien looking into her room, peering around the corner
of the door from the hallway, she hid under the bedcovers until she thought
it was gone. We've had missing time before, strange marks on our bodies,
florescent markings and stains seen under UV light that don't wash
off, and I've had a visible implant in my left cheekbone and two implants,
at different times, came out of my mouth. Threw away the first one, then
thought, "What the hell did I do that for?", contained impulse
to throw away second one (came out of roof of mouth), showed it to my younger
daughter, as it was sitting on my finger tip, it seemingly jerked (only
way to explain it), it fell to the floor, and for the life of us we couldn't
find it, and we searched on hands and knees, section by section.

- After I saw the UFO this morning I went to bed and
had two dreams, and a dream? in-between. Full recall is fuzzy now,
should have written them down, this is what I can remember clearly. First
one was a sex type dream (did not view the sex in my dream) There
where several groups of people (men?), I was a "breeder"- that
was the impression, anyway. I was to have sex with only certain members
of a certain group. As I said before, did not view any sex. Then
a really weird dream where my eyes where being analyzed. I had to track
movement while "things" where staring in my eyes without moving
my head. Whomever they were impressed with the outcome of my eye movements. Like
I said, strange. Second dream was similar to the first, except my
daughter woke me up near the end of it, so it couldn't have been anything
nefarious.

the other stuff than what I saw this morning, so sorry about that. There
is more I could talk about and elaborate on, but I'm rambling, and

- Oshawa, Ontario (Lake Ontario) A Bright Yellow Orb

- Time: Approx: 7:30 p.m.

- The night of October 8, 2007, me and my little brother
were fishing down at Lake Ontario South Oshawa. As we began walking home
it was about 730 and it was just getting dark. There was a single cloud
over the lake. It then began to give off a kind of orange glow. About 30
minutes later we were crossing over the 401 when I noticed a bright
yellow orb directly above us. When I pointed it out to my brother,
we watched it as it faded away within seconds. There wasn't a cloud in
the sky. A few minutes after that we witnessed a single orb pass by no
flashing lights or anything. It then turned on a dime and it
began to go the other way. I hope to witness many more.

- Hey Brian, I saw your story on line. I had a similar
experience last night. We were at a restaurant on a lake by my house
in Orange County. There were two stars dancing around each other,
changing from blue to red to white. About 30 witnesses, then they
eventually fell behind the mountain. I called the paper and they
are looking into it. It was so weird, like they were dancing together
in figure 8s, dropping down and then back up again. Freaky!!!

- Yes, it took place last night. I would say around
7:00 or 8:00pm. Yes, this was in Orange County, California. I
called the local paper and they received no reports, but she told me she
would have her "science guy" look into it and give me a call.
Unfortunately, the people that witnessed it were guests at the restaurant,
not my friends so I have no information for them. The restaurant
is called Tortilla Flats in the city of Mission Viejo. The Security
guards that were staffed by the restaurant were out there and witnessed
it as well. So you may be able to get a hold of them.

involved to put their stories on here. One is a friend who has seen the
same flying object 3 times in the last month. The last is a friend of my
son's. I just asked him tonight about his sighting.

- He saw the same saucer shaped object on the same night
as my other friend, Wednesday of this week or there abouts in Black Creek
just north of the Merville store. He was being driven home by his boss
and they pulled over off the highway in a Hummer vehicle (thinking
they were safe) and watched the craft hovering over a neighbor's property.
He said it was saucer shaped and had revolving lights that emitted an orange
glow. It then flew in a zig zag pattern and took off toward the ocean.

- My other friend was telling me of the same craft that
very night (after I dropped my son off at the friend's house). He said
the same thing..orange light and a glowing saucer. He told me he was driving
south when all of a sudden the lights of the saucer came on. He said he
went "oh no, not again" rolled up his windows and continued driving
toward home. He said he was very scared.

same locale between Oyster River and Black Creek, but his sightings were
over the ocean. A previous sighting about a month ago was over a field
near Oyster River. Again a saucer but cream colored light with blue or

- Full Description of event/sighting: I got up with the
dog and went out on the balcony. I am looking at the sky because you can
actually see some stars. I begin to look towards the area of St. Catherines
and I see a bright orange light in the sky. At first I figure it is a plane
that is coming towards Toronto. I look at it more and realize it is very
low to be coming to Toronto at 3:30 in the morning. Where it was positioned
there are two buildings that are very close to it. I grab the binoculars
which are right next to me. I peer through them to notice the object is
pulsing, but it is too far to make anything out. Then above it and to the
left a bit a second light appears. I gasped and thought to myself 'am I
seeing what I think I am' then suddenly a third one appears below the other
two. There are now a trio of orange pulsing lights in the distance. The
second light shut off, but you could see the shadow of the object move
away. It moved up and to the right. I almost dropped the binoculars.

- I pulled them back up to see the light go away on the
last one to light up flicker off. Reminder there are buildings in my sights
still and I can see that the lights are not moving at all. The first object
is still lit up but it finally moves slightly to the left (east) and shuts
off its lights. I can see a shadow of it as I follow it moving back to
the west. It turned its lights back on again (I was following it exactly)
It shut its lights off again and lifted up into the dark. 10 seconds later
I see a plane fly through the area.

- Referring To The St. Catharines Ontario Orange Lights
Sighting

- There is an explanation for the event reported of October
10/07 regarding the orange lights observed over St. Catharines Ontario.
The previous day, the Coast Guard received a MAYDAY call from a pleasure
craft located somewhere between 50 Point marina and Grimsby Marina on the
western end of Lake Ontario. This area is approximately 10 nautical miles
from St. Catharines. A rescue aircraft was dispatched from CFB Trenton
and, over the period of some 24 hours, searched the area thoroughly. It
was reported that some 70 flares were dropped during the nightime hours
and could be observed from miles away. These flares descend via parachute
and can stay aloft for several minutes at a time. This I believe, was what
the reporter saw when he observed the orange lights that night.

- Oldsmar, Florida 5 Circular Objects Moving In Formation

- I couldn't sleep very well last night (October 11, 2007)
so I went outside marveling at the night sky and the brightness of the
stars. Suddenly I saw 5 or so white circles in the sky. I knew it wasn't
any plane of sorts because it was moving too fast across the sky. It also
wasn't a meteor. At 51 years of age I know what a plane or a meteor looks
like. I've seen thousands but this was very different. As I followed the
five bright disk shapes objects in the night sky I knew this was something
different. All 5 circular objects were moving in formation, right behind
each other. Then they were gone. This night there were no clouds. Did anyone
else see these same objects over Oldsmar, FL around 4:40 a.m. on October
11? I have been bugged by this all day to the point that I need to write
and tell someone.

- Message: October 12, 2007. I work for UPS, and I live
in Pensacola, Fl. The other day while delivering around at the corner of
University Pkwy, and 9 mile Rd. I looked up to notice the clear blue sky.
I happened to notice a circular pattern with lights that would fade in
and out in the distance. I tried to get someone's attention to the pattern,
so as to co-sign what I was seeing. Just as it had appeared it disappeared.
Perhaps it was just a cluster of balloons or something, or some navy flying
pattern because we are near lots of flight bases here. Nevertheless, it
was so amazing I never saw anything like it before. What do you think it
was? Barometric pressure, or something like that maybe someone can explain
what it was.

were not moving the whole time.

- I went back to bed and got up again at about 5:30AM,
and in the same place there was an exact triangle, 6 bright lights, in
a much larger pattern ( none of them appeared to blink). Shortly after,
I saw one bright light (like a star, the same size as the lights forming
the triangle) move very quickly to the East - them stop, just stopped!

- Strange Lights Seen From Niagara On The Lake - Ontario

- Time: Evening.

- For almost a month now my daughter and I have been
watching the sky at the golf course along the lake. We seem to be seeing
what look to be stars at first, but actually have a circle in the middle
with lines on either side. The centre of this actually looks bright gets
larger than small a pinprick in the north sky, They seem to mostly be over
the Ajax area. We brought out the binoculars and then were able to see
what appeared to be flashing red, blue, green and amber colored lights.
They seemed to flash red and blue at first then would change. Eventually
it would just disappear. What I can't seem to understand is that these
things can hover in the same coordinate for hours. There have been up
to two and or three at separate times. This would be Sept, 07 into
and actually last eve which is October 14, 2007 Strange but interesting.
