(Fast Pitch Press) -- California Ferret Owners Seek Answers >From the California Department of Food & Agriculture as to why a 20 year old study is still used to justify domestic ferret ban? Local reality TV actor "Leatherface" released a video this morning slamming Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Secretary of Food and Agriculture AG Kawamura for their joint effort to keep ferrets illegal in the state of California.

Leatherface last attended the LegalizeFerrets.org rally at the Los Angeles Farmers Market in September this year and vowed to bring this issue to Arnold's front porch. The domesticated ferret is legal in all states except for Hawaii and California. Ferrets are still illegal in the state of California due to a 20 year old study in which anti tobacco campaign funds were rumored to have funded this out dated report Leatherface claims. It was also documented Ferrets create the same environmental threat as cigarettes. They have a good chance of going feral and causing great environmental damage say's the Department of Food and Agriculture. It has been 20 years since that statement and still no feral ferret outbreaks have been reported in California.

The Domesticated Ferret gained popularity over the years from Hollywood movies such as "The Beastmaster" and Kindergarten Cop Featuring our own Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. "I am disgusted to see Arnold ignoring our requests after making movies with ferrets and even rumored to own ferrets at one point in time! I lost one thing today, my favorite childhood hero!
