- I get the distinct feeling that America has been written
off and is being sold off to the highest bidder (real estate-infrastructure).
These past few decades have seen an exodus of livable wage jobs and industry
to foreign lands. Once upon a time- a man working in a steel mill, auto
plant, mfg job could support his family and see his children off to college
to better themselves. This is no longer possible working at minimum wage
stagnant wages, in the prison industry (our fastest growing), Wal-Mart,
Home Depot, or making snow! (Wal-Mart largest employer in NH)

- Yesterday's news (CNN) reported that 30 miles outside
the Beltway, there is little attention paid to the citizens concerns
that it's the 'lobbyists who are the overlords'! There is a great exodus
of corporate businesses to the Arab Emirates. Dubai, Halliburton's destination,
is one of seven. It's convenient that this is a tax haven (they making
billions off Iraq war and no extradition treaty) Most uninformed
Americans, if they think of these lands at all (not to be confused with
Saudi Arabia an impossible place of control), imagine a backward
place of camels and nomadic tribes. I don't think so!

war, has this area awash in billions. They are investing these multi- billions
in profits building themselves a global city of the future. Most of the
population is expatriates (European- Westerners) who enjoy luxurious lifestyles;
absent decaying tenements, polluting chemical plants, millions of unemployed,
rusting mill towns, and Wal-Mart junk stores. Western style dress, churches,
country clubs, yacht clubs, corporate (tax free zone) headquarters, and
a housing boom; is the order of the day, real estate in America goes belly
up. OH, I forgot, finally Congress is thinking of holding HEARINGS on predatory
lenders (per usual a day late and a dollar short). Numerous corporate headquarters
are moving to this Utopia as millions of immigrants, driven from
Mexico, due to a FAILED NAFTA treaty are seeking work in America for slave
wages. Meantime, with all of our bluster, we can't build a levee, or adequate
housing for the millions of dispossessed Super Power nation that
we are. Instead, our BILLIONS are being spent on, not construction, or
quality of life issues, but on melting bombs, tanks, missiles, napalm,
and depleted uranium weaponry; that will leave invaded lands (citizens
& military personnel) poisoned. Depleted uranium, used because, "it
cuts through metal like butter" has a half life of 4.5 billion years!
Let's look at the difference between expenditures on a future global city
and the state of America!

billions of $ unaccounted for)! Of course with Louisiana the most corrupt
state in the Union little wonder multitudes drowned!

removal (for coal veins). To date a quarter of this state's mountains have
been destroyed and who, besides the folks in West Virginia are protesting?

a military contractor held a $10 million dollar party in New York for his

get their children a high tech education, with the industrial age ending
(shipped abroad). Now in 2007 these jobs are being outsourced or employees
are being replaced with H1-B skilled visa workers (voted by Congress) who
will work for half the wages (no pensions, no health insurance, and no
vacations).

yellow ribbons or putting yellow stickers (made in CHINA) on their bumpers!

- As in Gulf War I the offspring of the wealthy oil
sheiks are spending their leisure in a huge indoor ski slope. Gulf War
I saw them take off for the French Rivera while American youth fought for
their protection. It's no different today, with our military protecting
oil fields, now (not on news) that the new hydro-carbon law is in place,
giving the great part of these oil fields (not to Iraqi citizens) to private
oil companies ( billions of untapped reserves). And you thought it was
for 'liberation or democracy'!

- War for tens of thousands of our maimed and brain damaged
veterans, will last a lifetime a lifetime of having to be RATED for
disability, and trying to maneuver through a governmental maze of impossible
bureaucracy. It's never ceased to amaze me, that politicians ( we pay 72%
of their premium costs) don't have to beg for medical care nor are
they RATED when it comes time for their obscene pensions (with yearly cost
of living increases).
