Media's Attention
Deficit Syndrome

Wouldn't it be just great if the American media would just simply perform its awesome and highly responsible role in reporting the news accurately and fairly? As has been pointed out often, the American media is the worst functioning news and information entity in the world, and avoids journalistic responsibility substituting itself as the communication vehicle for government propaganda and the enforcement of our society's destructive guilt trip and self-hatred known as political correctness. It would be simply marvelous if the majority of American people would understand this, but alas, they do not.

America's enlightenment regarding the true nature of the mass media is progressing, but somewhat slowly. The message of our own government's involvement in 9/11 is leaking out, as is the seemingly endless itemization of Bush regime crimes. Unfortunately, the rapid expansion of Bush crimes and its high tech supported enslavement of the American people are outdistancing the awakening of the American people still entrapped in their newspaper mentality syndrome. Our corporate establishment and New York Times-controlled mass media still has the advantage, and our continued enslavement by the Bush regime will overtake America's enlightenment guaranteeing our eventual destruction.

In recent weeks, examples of our newspaper mentality abound. We have been somewhat apprised of the total and horrific obstruction of justice by Bush and Gonzales within the so-called Department of Justice. Although the report of selective firings of U.S. Attorneys is definitely the unchallengeable call of the Executive branch of "our" government, allowing Gonzales to both write unconstitutional surveillance laws as White House attorney, and then to judge as sound those very same laws as Attorney General, it is totally unsound from both a constitutional perspective and one dependent upon justice and equity. And Bush denying security clearances to investigating attorneys evaluating related investigative methods mandated by the National Security Agency's end run around FISA procedures on the one hand, while quickly granting clearances to FBI agents investigating how the American people came to learn of Bush and Gonzales' criminal activities on the other, shows a clear and present danger of not only a run-away government, but also of a dangerous and rapidly growing dictatorship as well.

So where is there a continuing journalistic outrage over these obviously major criminal manifestations of government? Where is there a journalistic outrage over this blatant abuse of power leading to rule over America by a criminal dictatorship? There is no public outrage simply because the majority of American news consumers are relying upon the professionalism of our supposedly free and independent press to stay on top of such important developments. Surely, they reason, if there were anything more to report, our New York Times-led professional journalism corps would follow such important events "if it had legs." But reality points to the fact that it DOES have legs, but our media isn't pushing at all to get at the heart of the matter. They're not motivated to do this and are therefore the root cause of the problem!

Bush, Cheney, Rove and the Pentagon neocons are calling the shots, and wouldn't have anywhere near the ability to do so without their partners in the cooperative criminal mass media. Our media and our government are now one and the same. In a dictatorship, government is law and law is government! In a dictatorship, government is the media and the media is government! Anything and everything the media does is originated, sanctioned, directed and controlled by the dictator's government; it is no longer a government of, by and for the people. The problem is that the majority of Americans are still unaware of this situation.

Along with the de-emphasis of the DOJ-Gonzales scandal now morphed into a total news blackout, we have the pedophile ring connections to BOTH Bush administrations; yet those bold, red-lettered screaming headlines will never be produced by a disinterested "American" press. And continuingly surfacing evidence of the Bush regime's direct involvement in 9/11 is also being summarily ignored. Occasional flare-ups of the latter topic occur briefly on such government propaganda outlets as FoxNoise only for the purpose of discrediting the brave, inquiring minds who may risk death should ridicule from the empty barrels fail to silence them and their movement. Fortunately, the regime has miscalculated their magnitude, their scientific and investigative talents, and their true patriotism along with the rapidity of their public posturing. Their public reach is currently outdistancing the criminal mass media's ability to silence them.

And after the I. "Scooter" Libby sentencing, there was some hope that somebody somewhere would finally get to Nazi Karl Rove. And what about the subpoenas prepared by the Senate Judiciary Committee calling for Senate under-oath appearances by Gonzales and Rove? What happened to that? And what about the two Border Patrol officers rotting in Bush's gulag for interfering with Bush's Mexican drug connection? Any legs to that? Where is the pressure on Decider/Dictator Bush?

Isn't it simply amazing how all these important stories and their related blazing headlines will never be seen? Isn't it amazing how quickly Charlie Sheen and Cindy Sheehan have been silenced and ignored? Isn't it astonishing how the FBI agents and whistleblowers were able to uncover the 9/11 plot BEFORE it happened and how they were ignored by Bush-appointed supervisors? Any legs to stories such as these? Is Murray Waas of National Journal the only investigative reporter in the United States of America? All of Bush's dictatorial power emanates from 9/11, yet no one else in "American" journalism can breach the wall of lies set up by these criminals?

And then there's Don Imus. I used to listen to him on the radio when riding into work with my carpool decades ago. He was entertaining, creative, and often downright funny. But I don't listen to radio, and I don't watch television except during the football season when rooting for the New York Jets. But sadly, I believe they have their TV contract with CBS, the mass media morons that just fired Imus. I was never really big on Imus, and I was always disgusted with Howard Stern. I kept these feeling to myself considering that virtually everyone around me thought that Stern was great; so what do I know? I put Imus and his offspring Stern in the same category and ignored them both.

And isn't that really the trick? Isn't that all there is? If someone offends you, or simply isn't your cup of tea, wasn't it once really great to have been a free American and simply reject and avoid that which you do not wish to hear, see or participate in? Can we all just do the same regarding Bush?! Where Stern offended me, Imus simply disinterested me, and I avoided both. Isn't that what true freedom is all about? How have we acquired freedom by CBS' firing of Imus? I suggest that rather than cleaning up Imus' act, we've besmirched and dirtied our own.

For now fakes, frauds and phonies like Al Sharpton and tax evader/non-filer and corporate extortionist, Jesse Jackson, have come out of their respective holes to preach equality religion to US. You just have to know if we need to rely on the likes of Sharpton and Jackson to gives US religion, we're in a mighty heap of trouble!

It is NOT equality, nor is it justice, when one class of people is allowed total freedom of speech and another is not. How is such an arrangement backed up by "hate crimes"-type legislation authorizing police to use handcuffs and physical manhandling of "offenders" justice and equality? This has happened in my sub-police state of New Jersey, the same state in which its official university, Rutgers, became the focus of the latest Don Imus "outrage." The Hillaroid couldn't wait to pounce on Imus; he was not only vulnerable, but deserving when he mocked her at a 1996 Washington broadcasters dinner for her having misplaced and suddenly found the missing billing records of her former law firm. And the Hillaroid never forgets, except when it serves her purpose as regards incriminating billing records or the contents of Vince Foster's briefcase.

And I understand Imus has also taken some shots at the American dictatorship's President of Vice, Dick Cheney. Case closed! Imus employed the "vernacular" to show an affinity for "what's goin' down," while at the same time doing what he was hired to do: being outrageous and offensive. He did what he did without either thinking or even considering for a second the heartbreak experienced by the Rutgers girl's basketball players after they did indeed suffer defeat. They wanted to win for their school's football team too, which also came close but likewise failed in the final test. Imus handed them yet another humiliating public defeat. It was sad that he did what he did, but nevertheless, this is how the gutless, spineless immoral creeps of CBS and the rest of our despicable mass media handle themselves. They divested themselves of any and all responsibility in the matter.

The real damage done, however, will be to US.  CBS has given 15 years of fame to the likes of Sharpton and Jackson; anti-Americans like this couldn't be worse pair to energize. They are now legitimized more so than ever before. So get ready for some "hate crimes" legislation on the same order of the farce of "global warming." We will now require legislation and more of a "controlling legal authority." Sharpton, Jackson and the Hillaroid will all profit from this, and we'll lose even more of our rapidly vanishing freedoms.

Too bad the media hung in there until Imus was destroyed. AIPAC spying? Pedophile rings? Nazi Rove? 9/11? What are those? Any legs to these? Nah, of course not! Who cares if the Decider/Dictator is arranging our next World War; certainly not our Imus-trashing media! Oh by the way: what up with Rosie O'Donnell?
