- Canyon Lake, Texas Unusual Sighting -
Three Red Lights Hovering Over The Water

- Date: Approx: 1968-70 Summer
- Time: Sundown

- HBCC UFO Research Note: Along with the
witness for this sighting, I am also curious to know if anyone else out
there may have seen something very similar to this sighting, if so I would
certainly like to hear from you over what it was you saw.

- Location of Sighting: South shore of
Canyon Lake in Texas.
- Number of witnesses: 5-6

of invisible triangle shaped platform.

- Full Description of event/sighting: Background
Info: This happened some time ago, but have heard you on the Jeff Rense
show and just found your website and thought I would add this to the list
and see if anyone else has seen anything like it.

- We were at a picnic area and had just
finished eating after an afternoon on the south shore of Canyon Lake.
My family and another couple that are friends and co-workers with my parents
were there and we all live in San Antonio, TX about 40 miles south of this
large man-made lake.

- Sighting:
-
- I was about high school age (approx.
16-17) and noticed some red lights in the sky over toward the north
side of the lake heading west. My parents and the other couple were
talking and it had just come dark in the sky so we were about to pack up
and leave since there wasn't much light out in this small park area with
a few picnic tables.

- I kept watching these red lights that
started to head directly toward us at a slow rate, like slow helicopters
about 500-1000 feet in the sky. Or a height that might be reasonable
for a helicopter passing over the lake. The red lights were steady
not strobing or changing in brightness and looked like lights on top of
tall building or towers to warn aircraft. Nothing very suspicious
or exciting.

- However, when the lights got about
closer I could see that there were 3 red lights in an equal lateral triangle
and seemed to be about the size of a jet fighter in size, but they were
going very slow and I think hovered out over the water while we were going
to our cars to leave. The big thing was that there was no noise at
all, and I would think you would hear something even from the most quieted
helicopter. It was dark enough that I could not see anything except
the three red lights moving together like attached to a platform or the
tips of delta wings.

- I finally mentioned these lights to my
parents and the other couple and they just thought it was helicopters and
then I mentioned that there is no engine or rotor noise. They agreed
that was odd, but no one else thought it was a big deal. I
have considered it a UFO sighting, but probably some secret Air Force technology
they were playing with. However, I have always wondered what it was
and never heard of anything like it to this day.

- My memory is not 100% about the number
of these things. I seem to remember separate 3 groups of 3 lights
flying very slowly in loose formation, but it could have just been one
group with slightly more lights. I did not really believe in UFOs
as extraterrestrial objects, but more as unidentified man-made object.
If you look at how advanced the Germans and Italians were by the end of
WWII, it is conceivable that very advanced flying objects and defensive
systems. However, after seeing the UFOs on the NASA videos, I have
become more open to the possibility.

- Conclusion:

- Although I was very interested in the
three red light/triangle UFOs for a while, one reason I let it fade
from memory was that both my parents and the other couple we were with
worked for the National Security Agency at a local Air Force base
and assumed they either knew what it was or didn't think it was anything
extraordinary.

- It didn't seem too impressive for a UFO
sighting, but it still seems weird that there was no noise at all, no other
people around, and the crafts came toward us and moved so slowly that they
could not fly like a plane or they would have stalled and fallen out of
the sky. My only other guess some kind of blimps or balloons, but
you could not see anything but the normal looking red lights forming an
equal triangle like they were on a frame and no strobe light that is usually
required at night.

- It seems like the lead middle group of
lights came up very near or over us while we were leaving and the other
two stayed back almost hovering over the lake further behind. If
there was some normal noise at all, I would have accepted them as helicopters
out on some kind of training mission, but there was no noise at all from
them and I became worried about their intentions.

- Problems Attributed To An Unknown
Force - UFOs, Ghosts & Entities In The Home

- Message: Hi, my family and myself, my
daughter, sometimes friends too, have been having experiences since the
50's that I'm sure of. I had only one sibling that I discussed this with
and he has since died. It is very strange and it took years for me to realize
that something indeed was going on. I, and my daughter, have had many paranormal
things happen. Clock phenomena, water and coin materialization, electrical
phenomena, streetlight thing, you name it. Ghosts, knocks, noises, UFO
sightings, entities in the home, levitation, being in spaceships, bruises,
dots, triangles, the works. I could
- write a book. I have moved many, many
times, it follows me. Lived in several "haunted houses". It goes
on and on. Had an experience just 3 nights ago.

- Plus, my family has been pretty dysfunctional.
Anger problems, I go from job to job, probably have had 50 or 60 jobs.
Problems with "authority" and so on. Substance abuse. Relationship
problems. I don't know how much of my personal problems can be attributed
to this unknown force, but I believe had I not nor my family, gone through
all this, we might be completely different. It does help to know that we
are not the only ones that believe we are experiencing this. So weird,
though, as I do not tell most people as they would view me as a nut. Not
that I care, but I have a strange aversion to talking about it. Just trying
to think about writing all this stuff down, to write down everything that
I know about myself and my family, just tires me to think about it. It
sounds like "too much". I believe they encourage me to keep quiet.
There is alot of other strange stuff too, my dad was in the navy and I
think something happened with that too, and later after he was out, I think
our family was "tagged" or "flagged". Who knows. Anyway,

- Hi Brian, Thank you for responding. Actually,
I am not expecting help and I don't think anyone can and I'm "used
to it" now. I just thought, for the sake of research someone might
find it interesting or useful. My dad worked the oilfields in the 50's
and 60's and we, even before I was born, lived in some remote places including
New Mexico. I would have to ask one of my brothers the names of the places
we lived when I was young. He has a better memory of that stuff than me.
We moved alot. When I was 9 we moved to Missouri, Greene county, and that
is where I live now. But I moved Texas 6 years ago and lived there 5 years,
Hidalgo County, and then back here a year ago. There are countless things
I could relate. Here is one. When I moved here, where I am living now,
I had secured this house but hadn't any furniture in it yet. So a good
friend of mine let me stay a couple of nights at her and her hubby's place.

- They have an old farmhouse out in the
country. I stayed in the upstairs, two large adjoining attic bedrooms.
Just me and my little dog. So anyway, we had been to town and had a couple
of drinks and came back to their place. I had maybe two drinks and was
not impaired. So everyone went to bed, me and my dog Missy went upstairs
and got in bed and I just could not go to sleep, for like 3 hours even
though I was very comfortable and cozy with my surroundings. And I wondered
then, if that meant something was going to happen, as that's usually how
it starts out. So after 2 and 1/2 or 3 hours, I finally go to sleep and
dream that a gang of little thug-type persons have surrounded me and are
touching me all over and I am begging and begging them not to and I just
hate for them to touch me. And I feel very heartbroken and devastated that
they keep on touching me and I hate it and they won't quit. Also, they
are zinging me with electric shocks from their hands.

- Shooting me with these electrical like
shocks. And this goes on and in my dream there is like 4 or 5 of them and
they are "bad guys" and I hate them. Anyway, so I wake up in
a split second, my eyes just fly open. And when they do, I can hear something
or someone scrambling up on the roof, above my head. Like someone is scrambling
up the incline of the roof and my dog, who is a Pomeranian, is laying against
me and she is awake and staring towards the roof where the noise is coming
from. She hears it too, and she is not barking which is very, very unusual
for her as she is the yappiest dog ever and absolutely will not shut up
most of the time, when she hears a noise. So I think to myself, wow, that
was no dream! I go back to sleep without too much trouble. So the following
day, I am moving in my house, this house I am in now, and puttering about
when I feel something in my nose and I check it out and pull out a roundish,
disk-like bloody scab, about the size of an aspirin. No bleeding or anything
else, just this one roundish, bloody scab. And I'm thinking it has something
to do with the "dream/memory".

- There is alot more stuff, but this is
one incident. This was in Greene county Missouri. Also, my parents are
deceased now, but I remember them talking about UFO sightings where the
whole neighborhood saw cigar shaped UFOs pass over, I believe this was
in New Mexico. Anyway, I will write more of what I have experienced if
you care to hear it.

I just wanted to say that a number of years ago I saw something strange
in the sky, after looking on your site I found this article with pictures

- Those pictures show exactly what I saw,
it was like a semi transparent orb way, way up in the sky. I thought it
might have been one of those things than you can see floating in your eyes,
but I shook my head and looked away to see if I'd see it on another stretch
of the horizon, I didn't. So I looked back and it was still there, it's
very strange to see something like that out of the ordinary and what amazes
me is these pictures show exactly what I saw. I am unsure of
the date though because I had a very tumultuous life during my younger
years and was outside pretty much all day every day "perfect for looking
4 UFO's", "which I wasn't doing!". All I know is it was
a nice clear day and the sun was behind me. I also have a faint memory
of seeing something multicolored "flashing" and round in a field
my family passed while we were driving to Medicine Hat at night. When
I was a child, I don't remember anyone in the car mentioning anything about
it though.

- Full Description of event/sighting: Hi
Brian, I was enjoying a Saturday off work with 2 of my old friends on a
very stormy afternoon. Intermittent thunderstorms, mixed with rain
and hail were lashing the area, then patches of blue sky and sun. We were
in the back yard of my friends hilltop home. We were standing in the
door of the "Clubhouse", a metal barn, watching the storm. From
the west, at no more than 150 feet up, and 100 yards distance a orange
thing shaped like a fat dumbbell came into view from behind a stand of
cedar trees. It wobbled along without rising, falling or deviating from
it's course. We as a group spotted it at nearly the same moment.
It moved with a strange oscillating motion. The speed was not great,
maybe 20 mph. Our collective observation at the moment was that it
was some kind of balloon.

- Only a few seconds had passed since the
object was sighted, then from beneath the object, a brilliant white light
strobed and sparked! It was more like an explosion of light than anything
I've seen. We were then able to see some kind of appendage the strobing
light came from. The appendage could not be clearly seen, but may
have been some kind of tube. My friend Robert said it was attached to both
ends of the dumbbell thing, but to me it looked like a semi transparent
tube attached to the closest end of the object that continued moving horizontally
to the east. The object was still very near to us. I could see
rain and hail bouncing off it's surfaces. Beneath both ends of the
object that by now had moved 3 to 4 hundred yards from where first seen
appeared what I can only describe as fiery pulses of light, that appeared
for only a moment. The object then started rising at a precise angle
as it moved away and picked up speed. The explosive strobing light
emanated at random timing from beneath the dumbbell. It moved
to the east, steadily rising, and we all kept watching till it was a speck
against the clouds. One last flash and it disappeared. We
tried in our following conversation to explain it as something conventional,
but one of my buddy's that was witness and who I'll not name, suffers from
mild retardation. He said, "you guys, we just saw a UFO".

- Trail, British Columbia String Of Lights

- Date: March 13, 2006
- Time: 10:45 p.m.

- I had a report of a string of 6 lights
which were spread out across the sky traveling at a low altitude (approx:
500 feet) on the northern outskirts of Trail. The reported colors
were blue, and red. They moved rather slowly, moving up and downward on
a straight flight path from west to east. The lights did not flash or blink
off and on, pretty much a steady light. The only witness said they watched
the lights for approximately 2 minutes before he lost track of them.

- Modesto, California Another Person Observes
The Same Object (Evening)

- Time: Between 7:00 - 7:30 p.m.

- Message: Hi, this is in response to the
article posted on Rense.com, about the shining orb in Modesto, CA. I saw
the same thing! It was last Sunday, which was the night of the 13th of
March 2006. I was driving home, and saw an orb in the sky that all
of a sudden brightened exactly like in those pictures, then it turned off,
then it brightened again. This was at night though, extremely noticeable.
I almost had an accident staring at it.

- Anybody driving down Highway 99 would
have seen it, between about 7-7:30PM.

- I've seen it before, always over Modesto.
I drive through Modesto on Sunday evenings.

husband woke up early in the morning to get ready for work, and woke me
up to take a look out the window. He told me that the "bright
light in the sky was back" (he's seen this before). I've always
told him that it's just a star and to go back to sleep. This time,
though, it looked totally different. This was not a star!
It was a huge light in the lower portion of the sky. It looked as
though there may have been several lights within the large light.
It didn't move and stayed there quite a while. We live by the airport
and when planes are coming in to land, their lights shine this bright,
however, this light was not moving.

- Full Description of event/sighting: While
driving 50 kph going west on Pierrefonds Boulevard, observed quite large
"fluorescent light colored" (white) light making a short arced
streak across part of overhead sky ahead. Duration 1 second. Looks like
if it continued it would have hit land around, say, 20 km or so away.

- Basic impression was that it was a very
close shooting star - if "close" shooting stars are indeed white
light in colour, then that's most likely what it was. I once saw one very
high in the sky, and it made a long whistling sound, but this one could
not observe sound due to car/road noise.

Brian, I had just been to the drug store where I purchased an inexpensive
throw away camera, and a roll of 400 speed hi resolution color 35 mm film
for a little vivatar I picked up at an estate sale. I don't usually
have good luck with the cameras I get at these sales, and joke that my
hobby is buying cameras that don't work. I had my good German binoculars
along as well. The camera and binoculars would have been handy last
weekend when we had a sighting. I arrived at my buddy Robert's Oceanside
home just after 1400, seeing and speaking to him for the first time since
seeing the "Flying Dumbell" last weekend. I gave
him the disposable camera, with the advisement to keep it handy.
It was another blustery weekend, having rained earlier, but now mostly
nice, a little windy and patchy clouds.

- We went into the back yard to the Clubhouse,
as usual, for a beer and to chew the fat. I successfully loaded the 35
mm film to the vivatar. We were standing just outside the clubhouse's sliding
entry door looking about and talking about the orange dumbbell, when Robert
looked up and said "There's a white thing moving between the clouds!"
My camera was 10 feet away on the fence, but the binoculars were slung
around my neck. I raised the binoculars but couldn't see the
object. Then a twin engine turboprop came to view from the east.
It was black on the bottom and white on the upper surfaces. It zipped
right through the area I was glassing. Robert said the object had
disappeared into a cloud. I kept glassing the sky, almost directly
overhead. Then, in a patch of blue a sphere appeared. It was
white on one side, red or orange on the other.

- I guess the altitude was 12 to 15 thousand
feet. I then went for the camera on the fence. I realized that
watching through the binoculars, then switching to the camera was going
to make it hard to capture a picture, because the viewfinder on the camera
won't enlarge the field of view like the binoculars do. There
were power lines, between me and the object. I used the relation
of the power lines between me and the sphere, when seen thru the binoculars,
to aim the camera and started snapping pictures. The
sphere may have been rotating. It moved to the east in short zigs
and zags, at times it moved thru clouds and disappeared, reappeared, then
became stationary.

- The twin turboprop approached again,
this time from the west! It had reversed direction to pursue the
thing! It flew directly at the object, closing fast on what looked like
a collision course! The object then accelerated to the east
and was gone into a cloud just like that. The twin turbo followed.
I think I caught a picture of the aircraft and the sphere in the
same frame. I took 8 pictures in about 2 minutes of observation of
the thing. I am going to the camera shop after I send this report.
I will cross my fingers and hope this camera works better than the others.
If it does, I will have the pictures digitized to send to you! I
noted the hoax story from so California, my recent sightings were not related. Sincerely.
