Anderson died today in Bethesda, Maryland, just outside of Washington,
DC. Anderson suffered from Parkinson's Disease. Anderson, who succeeded
Drew Pearson as the editor of the "Washington Merry-Go-Round,"
an investigative journalism standard, which provided inspiration for this
web site, broke open several scandals, including those associated with
the John Kennedy assassination, Watergate, and Iran-Contra. Anderson was
83.
