- South Of Troy, Michigan A Huge Cigar
Shaped Object
-
- Date: Summer of 1995 or 1996.
- Time: Approximately midnight.
-
- Location of Sighting: I-75 freeway approximately
10 miles south of Troy, MI.
- Number of witnesses: 1
- Number of objects: 1
- Shape of objects: Cigar shaped.
-
- Full Description of event/sighting: It
was either the summer of 1995 or 1996 when I was driving north on the I-75
freeway approximately 10 miles south of Troy, MI.. I was driving home from
a night at the harness races at Hazel Park raceway. It was a warm summer
night with a very clear sky. I do not remember the exact year or date.
I had my window open and somehow looked up to see a huge cigar shaped object
slightly to the left of my car. I would say its size was bigger than a
blimp. It was of a metallic color like aluminum and seemed to be flying
evenly with me as I was driving. It had two white lights near the top of
the object. It had no wings whatsoever and made no sounds at all. It was
at a height of a tall tree which was extremely low for a flying object.
I was traveling at approximately 65 mph and this object was staying exactly
with me to my left. I was continuously looking at it through the window
while trying to maintain a safe driving mode. At first I could not believe
what I was seeing but I know it was there.
-
- I remember that there was another car
to my left and I tried to stay with him in order to get his attention for
him to look up at this thing. After about 30 seconds I was getting somewhat
scared and for some reason chose not to honk my horn to get the other drivers
attention but was pointing up with my hand in hopes he would see me and
look up. I don't believe he saw me pointing or saw the object. After a
few more seconds of this object staying with me and now the other driver
I became nervous and decided to pull off of the oncoming circular exit
ramp to try to get rid of this thing. By now approximately 60 seconds had
elapsed since I first spotted it. It took me another 25 seconds to exit
and I stopped my car on the shoulder of the exit and popped my head out
of the window to see where this thing was. I looked in a complete 360 degree
circle and this object had completely disappeared.
-
- Now this was an extremely clear night
and I have no idea how anything that large could completely disappear from
my view in such a short time. Over the years I have told my experience
to several people and really don't think people believe me. I do not drink
and do not ever remember hallucinating in my life. I know with 100% certainty
I saw this huge cigar shaped, metallic colored object humming along on
this hot summer night. I always have wondered if any other people had seen
this same object at that time. I still have no idea what it was except
that it truly was a UFO to me. I also find it hard to believe that no one
else saw it since it was so large and so low to the ground and with some
cars on the freeway even at that time of night!
-
- Thank you to the witness for the interesting
report.

- Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver Nine
Objects Moved In A Triangular Formation
-
- Date: Winter of 1998/1999
- Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m.
-
- Message: In the Winter of 1998/1999 I
was with two of my friends at Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver.
We were riding up on what was called the Inferno chairlift (recently replaced
with the Olympic Express) late one evening just before closing around 9:30pm
when several objects caught my eye to the north. There were nine
objects in total travelling northwest at several thousand feet with speed
comparable to a military fighter jet. Initially I though that it
was a flock of birds as there was no sound or lights of any kind.
They moved in a triangle formation and you could only make them out from
the darkness of the night because there was a slight reflection on the
bottom of the objects from the Vancouver city lights in the distance.
-
- It was a completely clear night, so you
could just make out the basic shape of the objects, and from what I could
see, they were roughly triangle in shape, but with distinct, yet extremely
short wings. I am an aviation nut who always wanted to be a pilot,
and I can tell a jet just from the shape or sound it makes and I have never
seen anything like this before. There were definitely matte black
in color. As they travelled northwest, they made a slight turn to
the north, and this is when I saw something that I still don't believe
till this day. The lead object (at the head of the triangle formation)
accelerated at a speed I have never seen before and disappeared into the
darkness in a fraction of a second.
-
- I don't know how to describe it exactly,
but speed of the acceleration is not possible by any known military aircraft...not
by a long-shot. I want to avoid any bad science fiction references,
but it looked like "light-speed" in the movies. Within
seconds of the first object accelerating, a second, then a third, then
all the rest of the objects followed. It was an unbelievable sight.
The thing that troubled me was that there was no afterburner or any type
of glow from the back of these objects as they took off. I turned
to my friend and we just stared at each other in disbelief. When
we got to the top of the chairlift, the lift attendant said "did you
guys see that!", so we exchanged our versions of what we saw, and
I confirmed that it was 9 objects in total although the lift attendant
believed that the objects were much lower than several thousand feet.
There were no less than 5 witnesses to this event, so I'm hoping others
will come forward. My honest guess is that these were some sort of
military aircraft that we haven't seen yet, but I can't be certain
-
- Thank you to the witness for the report.

- Oil City, Pennsylvania 30 Morphing Or
Changing Objects
-
- Date: August 29, 2001
- Time: Approx: 3:45 p.m.
-
- Number of witnesses: 15
- Number of objects: 30
- Shape of objects: Morphing or changing,
then mostly spherical.
-
- Full Description of event/sighting: I
and about 15 other people witnessed something very strange in broad daylight
8/29/01 3:45 pm ( just several days before 911) in Oil City Pennsylvania,
while the sun was shining on a beautifully clear summer afternoon with
a few puffy clouds in the sky. Not the kind of time or type of day
you expect something like this to occur. Since it was several years ago,
my memory about the events are hazy, but I will be as accurate as possible.
Since there is a definite time and date, the other witnesses could all
be contacted if someone wanted to go that far, although I can't remember
names.
-
- Let me set the stage to communicate the
event more clearly. My family lived in an apartment complex called (name
of building removed) at the edge of Oil City, on a high hill in wooded
northwestern Pennsylvania. The name has subsequently been changed to (name
of building removed). Our apartment was at the end of the row. They
were two-story apartments in 2 long rows with a parking lot in between
them and since we were at the end of the parking lot, our apartment faced
the end of the other row with a grassy playground in between. There were
swings, picnic tables and jungle gym at one end and a basketball court
back further at the edge of a wooded area. We had 4 kids and they
and the neighbor kids played there everyday. Adults would hang out there
sometimes too at the picnic tables.
-
- On this particular day, there were a
bunch of kids playing, ranging in age from 4-13 including my son
who was 7 at the time. I was hanging out at a picnic table and the apartment
manager, Patty, was at the playground with a contractor making plans
on upgrading the playground area. There were several adult neighbors hanging
out at another table too. One was the mother of one of my son's friends.
-
- I looked up in the sky and saw what appeared
to be parachutes coming down as they started out as very small dots and
seemed to get bigger. Well I pointed them out to the kids that were playing,
saying something like "hey kids, look at the parachuters". Well
the adults and the kids looked up and we all watched a bit as they seemed
to be coming straight down towards our area. The shapes were shifting as
those type of half parachutes would change shape as they move in the wind.
I would guess there were about five of them and they just sort of drifted
down lazily. But it was very odd, because there is no airport near and
I remembered that there were no planes nearby them, only jets making trails
in the higher sky. At the time I thought, wow, they had jumped from a really
high plane! There was also not a lot of places that parachuters could land.
The area is near the Allegheny river and very hilly and wooded, not many
fields nearby at all, but then the strange part, they didn't come down,
they did other things. That was when my interest in the objects became
more intense. A lot of the others just went back to playing, but I kept
watching. As a few more minutes went by, these objects were at the level
of the clouds and some stayed by the two or three clouds that were in the
sky at the time. As I watched them two or three of them drifted at the
same speed as the clouds, even going behind parts of the clouds at times.
-
- They seemed to change shape as though
they were giant balloons that weren't quite full of air. They were pearly
colored and the clouds seemed to shade them in spots as their shapes twisted.
I thought this all extremely odd behavior and at the time I became convinced
that I was looking at something not behaving in natural ways. They weren't
drifting with the wind as you would expect if they had been balloons.
I haven't mentioned the strangest part of all this yet though. As I was
sitting on the picnic table watching as these objects were drifting among
the clouds, I happened to catch an event that lasted for a second or two
that I am not sure anyone else saw at the time. The kids had sort of lost
interest by then and gone back to playing. I saw at least 25 other small
dots of white come shooting out of a central point and spread out
radically from what appeared to be the same height as the jet traffic that
went by overhead.
-
- I yelled to the kids to look again at
the UFOs. It struck me then as it still does as though they were like starships
coming out of warp speed into the atmosphere. They were just there. They
didn't come from anywhere. Then the dots spread out and moved up and over
and down sort of chaotically and many became invisible to my sight as they
were very high up. I estimate that there were at least 25 of them, but
there could have been many more, since it happened so quickly. I did yell
out to the others at the playground, hey did you see that? or something
like that. One of my neighbors at the time was at the playground
and watching and agreed these things were strange and was watching them
closely. The apartment manager and the contractor had gone back to their
business off the playground. Two of the closer objects drifted away
from the clouds and started moving in the opposite direction of the clouds,
still in a lazy drifting sort of motion and passed out of view over the
roof of my apartment. So I ran inside and told my daughter who was 11 to
come out and see the UFOs.
-
- We went out my back door and watched
these two objects drift past in the sky and by then they appeared circular
and white like large balloons. As they moved into the distance,
they started to shine like stars in the daytime. Not exceptionally
bright, but unusual because stars aren't seen in the daytime and they don't
move like that! They moved slowly and were in sight for at least 15 minutes
or more before they went over the horizon. On the other side of the
apartment, people were watching the other objects, some of which had also
"drifted" away from the clouds and were moving away in the opposite
direction ! They all eventually drifted out of sight. The whole thing lasting
perhaps 20 minutes to a half hour. Only after it was over did one
of my neighbors say, I should have gotten my camera.
-
- Thank you to this witness for the excellent
write up on what they all saw.

- North Of Kansas City, Missouri Mist
Cloud Underneath Low Flying Triangular Craft
-
- Date: June 2005
- Time: Approx: 8:00 a.m. (Daylight
sighting)
-
- HBCC UFO Research Note: The eyewitness
to the sighting report below called me this morning, February 16, 2006
and explained what it was he and his wife observed back in June of 2005
one early morning. Besides the entire report being of interest, I found
it really interesting to note that the witnessed mentioned that the triangular
craft at one point was approximately 250 feet off the ground, and at one
point it hardly was moving, certainly to slow for any normal aircraft to
stay aloft. At such a slow rate of speed the craft should have stalled
and basically fallen from the sky. But in this case it didn't. Also what
is interesting to note is that this gentleman called the police to file
a report, most likely seeking an answer to what he and his wife had witnessed.
The police then called military personal at the Whiteman Air Force Base,
and the military called the witness to get a report from him. So what
was flying that day is the question ? Ours or something unknown. The date
for the sighting is board, but I would like to request that is anyone might
have been witness to this unusual event, would you be kind enough to contact
me, Brian Vike at HBCC UFO Research with your detailed report. The roads
that day were busy and there must have been numerous folks who saw the
same event.
-
- Message: Hi Brian, I am sending
you this report on the UFO that my wife and I saw last June, 2005 that
looked like a strange version of the stealth aircraft that is housed further
south of Kansas City, Missouri. We were just about to leave for work when
something caught my eye in the east sky just above tree level. This craft
was heading due north at a speed of 35 kilometers and then turned sharply
to the west and headed right for us where it then turned sharply to the
north again. It was right above us! This craft made no sound but it looked
sort of like a stealth bomber but very shiny and triangular with no windows
of any sort. The underside had three minor domes but was hard to discern
from the mist cloud underneath the craft. My wife and I stood there
shocked at what we saw, unable to move.the craft then accelerated sharply
in an arc up till it was out of sight. I called the police and made a report
and soon after was contacted by Whiteman Air Force Base for a report, which
I gave to them. The news on Fox 4 broke on the air to ask if anyone
else saw this craft in the sky. I talked to the news crew and gave
them my report. I can assure you this was no military craft. It made no
sound what so ever. I am the type of person that believes nothing unless
I see it for myself.
-
- Thank you to the gentleman who filed
this most interesting report, I also would like to extend my many thanks
as he called me to make his report, which is really appreciated.

- Nanaimo, British Columbia Fireball/Meteor
-
- Date: February 14, 2006
- Time: Approximately 10:00 p.m.
-
- I found your contact info on this web
page: http://www.hbccufo.org/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=3075
and
- thought I would drop you a quick line.
-
- I had typed "meteorites over Nanaimo,
BC" in Google to see if anyone has reported seeing them recently.
I found this article by a Nanaimo couple who saw something similar to what
I've seen, with your contact info at the bottom.
-
- I live at the south end of Nanaimo, and
tonight was the fourth time I've seen a "fireball" in the night
sky in the last couple of months. The one I saw tonight was at approximately
10:00pm, as I was outside having a smoke.
-
- All four of the sightings were in the
same area of the sky (to the right and below the Big Dipper), and all but
one (which was traveling South/West) was traveling in a North/North East
direction. Each sighting has lasted approximately 3 seconds. They appear
as a yellow/orange glow, quite large, about the size of an eraser on a
pencil at arms length. Sometimes I've seen a tail, but tonight I didn't.
It is very cold and clear out tonight. The objects travel at a high rate
of speed, and the three I saw that were traveling North disappeared at
almost the same place in the sky, not far from where I first saw them.
They seem to travel straight and then shoot up very quickly before they
disappear.
-
- Could these be meteorites that I'm seeing?
They are definitely not planes, and way to low for satellites.
-
- I would be very interested in hearing
what you have to say on these occurrences, and if you have had similar
reports recently from others living in the area. Sincerely.
-
- Thank you to the witness for reporting
what was observed.

- Chico, California Cigar Or Narrow Long
Rectangle
-
- Date: February 14, 2006
- Time: Approx: 5:20 p.m.
-
- Location of Sighting: parking lot of
Kings Table (buffet) in Chico.
- Number of witnesses: 3
- Number of objects: 1
- Shape of objects: Cigar or narrow long
rectangle.
-
- Full Description of event/sighting: Came
out of Buffet and the women were looking to the northeast and commenting
on the dark threatening cloud front there. Scanning the sky at about
30 degrees from that point to the west there was some isolated clouds at
north/northwest and right above them was this object: golden/yellow in
color much, much brighter than the tint of clouds. I asked the ladies
what is that as I pointed it out to them, as something distracted my attention
I heard the 23 year old (skeptic no more) exclaim "where did it go,
where did it go"? And as I looked back up it was gone. She said
it was there and then it wasn't there. Made a believer out of her if she
wasn't one already. The sighting lasted about 15 seconds. It
was about 8-10 miles away and about the size of a #2 pencil eraser held
at arms length, this thing was BIG. I think we are starting
to have activity here in the north valley of California. That is all there
is to this one. Keep up Your Good Work.
-
- Thank you very much to the witness for
the report.

- Near Woodstock, Ontario An Intense
Flash That Lasted 2 Seconds
-
- Date: February 13, 2006
- Time: Approx: 4:20 p.m.
-
- Hi Brian, you seem real busy for February
6, 2006. I have a recent story to pass on to you, from a another fellow,
who delivers at our place of work in Scarborough. On Monday,February 13,
2006 at approx: 4:20pm while on the ramp at Hwy 97 and the Hwy.401,
near Woodstock. He witnessed about a quarter mile away, at about 200 feet
max in altitude. An intense flash, that lasted 2 seconds, at about a size
of a dime at arms length. He describes it as very bright,as this was still
daylight. The outer part (rim) of the "circle" was bright white.
Within the circle, a bright intense yellow colour. Now once again, this
fellow questions of what he had witnessed. Funny that now he too,
is skywatching his surroundings.
-
- Thank you to the person for sending along
this report.

Lights Formed A Perfect Triangle
-
- Date: February 16, 2006
- Time: 04:35
-
- West bound approx: 2000 feet. First seen
just south of Burke Mountain. I first thought it was a small plane but
then noticed it didn't have any strobe lights. When I checked through my
binoculars could not see any green or white lights. Vehicle had one large
yellowy/orange light in the front and a small red light on each corner
of the rear, lights formed a perfect triangle. I had windows closed due
to the temp. and could not hear if it made any noise. I watched it for
approx: 30 sec., speed about the same as a small plane. Last seen
over New Westminster.
-
- Thank you to the witness for the report.

- Three Lights Stationary Over Pitt Lake
-
- Date: February 16, 2006
- Time: 6:20 p.m.
-
- Observed three lights hanging apparently
motionless over Pitt Lake area. Checked with binoculars, All three lights
were on one horizontal line. All appeared equal in size. Lights were Orange,
White and Orange again. After a moment the lights started to move in my
direction. I grabbed my camera and quickly set it for low light colour
boost, I managed to get about ten to twenty seconds and then my phone started
ringing. The object vanished while I answered the phone. Play back showed
it to be changing colours, reds, purples, blues, oranges, yellows. Also
showed several odd shapes when played one frame at a time.
-
- Thank you to the witness for the report.

- Surrey, British Columbia Observed Bright
White Strobes
-
- Date: February 16, 2006
- Time: 6:35 p.m.
-
- Observed bright white strobes just west
of the green tower. Lights appeared to be at approx: 4000 feet and hanging
almost stationary while at the same time jumping back and forth over quite
a large area. Object appeared to be approx: 1/4 mile across. I checked
with the binoculars but could not see any object, strobes were firing in
pairs. Object began to slowly drift towards the east and I lost it behind
the Green High-rise Tower across the street. Managed to get about thirty
seconds of video. Played back video but even with the low light boost on
could not make out any real shape. I do see what look like either windows
or square very dim lights on either side of the strobes. They appear to
be very dim reds and blues. Just played back a bit more and now have one
large rectangular light. Light went out after one or two frames, now can
see a row of five rectangular coloured lights with an arch of small greeny
blue lights over the top and more lights below giving the object sort of
a saucer shape and that is just one set of lights. Checked several other
strobes and they seem to have a sort of glow around the area went the blink
out, nothing defined though
-
- Thank you to the witness for the report.

-
- A Witnesses Amazing UFO Sightings
From Around The World
-
- Date: Given in reports below.
- Time: Given in reports below.
-
- I have seen lights, closer than stars
and not blinking but with similar brightness, which have moved in ways
impossible for any man made or naturally explainable phenomena a few times,
before and after the following events, such sightings I will not even bother
to describe, though they of themselves would have passed as genuine UFO
sightings and more than once these have been multiple witness events. I've
seen typical such sightings described weekly since following yours and
other reports via Rense mainly. I've sailed a bit offshore and been in
the bush a bit (OZ for outdoors) and am intrigued by such sightings of
themselves but my own experience is that such things are so common, at
least seen from some locations and times, there is little to be derived
anymore from the mention even.
-
- The second sighting up close of a UFO
for me, came in 1990, in Denmark. It was just prior to the Gulf War
and there was a lot of aircraft generally flying over Denmark at the time,
these were low level and hence quite noisy by the way, we lived at the
time in Jutland, the middle of Denmark basically.
-
- The following took place between Gammel
Ry and Silkeborg, on a country road, with little traffic, in summer of
1990, Denmark.
-
- I was driving a Diesel Mazda 323 station
wagon, past farms which were devoted to Cereal crops, mostly Rye and Barley.
I can't at this time easily discern compass directions, and feel it is
probably irrelevant really, except to say I was travelling from Gammel
Ry to Silkeborg. At about midway on that stretch of road I noticed,
off to my right and forward, what appeared to be a model airplane or helicopter?
I assumed this from the "scale" of its movements, and its apparent
relationship to a fence line on a farm between it and my car which was
travelling about 120km when I first saw it.
-
- Rapidly the "model plane" came
closer to me, still from the right side but now I could discern clearly
it was no model since its size as it approached grew exponentially.
It was simply moving very quickly I then realized. It was no
more fifty meters from my vehicle when it seemed to stop and began hovering
in perfectly maintained proximity to my car. About thirty meters,
at most from the ground, and at about 1:00 o'clock from my position, and
fifty or less meters from my car, the craft filled up about thirty centimeters
of the windshield. I'd have said it was about the same size as a
fighter plane, in fact for a fleeting moment I thought it might have
been a spy plane, for it was completely black, no markings at all, and
it was sort of wedge shaped, not unlike the most recent spy planes. I think
the A2, but am not much up on these things. It was obviously no such
thing because for one thing it was completely silent. NO NOISE and
any sort of plane or helicopter engine would have been deafening at the
proximity.
-
- I didn't panic, in fact I slowed down
to about 80 kmh and was telepathising (thinking hard) for all I was worth,
to whoever was piloting the craft to "be cool, maybe land and let's
have a meeting sort of thing". I made a peace sign even. I
have NO reason to believe any such attempts at communication were detected
by anything.
-
- It just hovered in that position
for several minutes with me maintaining speed down the road and simultaneously
trying to "focus" on this craft which was shadowing my car.
This was the weirdest thing up to now, the strange way ones gaze "slipped"
off the thing. Trying to look inside the silhouette to identify anything
like portholes, hatches or fittings of any kind, despite it being nearly
on top of me, was strangely inhibited. I have never before or
since seen anything like it and at the time it was noticeable and frustrating.
I could catch impressions of hatches and/or portholes but was unable to
precisely focus on them as if my gaze was slipping on an incline.
Since then I have read a description of how a de-ionization field might
function in a craft designed to eliminate the effects of gravity and friction.
I have concluded that the effect I was witnessing was caused by just such
a field.
-
- After several minutes the craft slowly
turned on its axis, and the side which had up until now been facing me,
and which appeared to be the front as far as direction of travel went,
turned clockwise to the left until it faced to about 9:00 o'clock.
Then without any warning it began to accelerate in that direction, to my
left, in a big sweeping arc which went forward in my direction of travel.
Then like a cartoon image almost and within seconds had gone from craft
up close to a black line which blinked out on the horizon a split second
later.
-
- The initial acceleration, the first second
or two was absolutely the fastest thing I have ever seen move. In
that time it travelled a few kilometers at least and I was already yelling
with excitement, WOW, a split second later it became a black line which
extended to the horizon for a moment and then disappeared. I am
not sure exactly what the horizon in a flat country like Denmark, in the
summer of 1990, would have been but at least eighty kilometers I'd guess.
I have interpreted that black line to mean the thing travelled that distance
in less than the tenth of a second the human eye needs to discern movement.
-
- After this I excitedly rang up my wife
using the satellite phone which I had in the car as a part of my job as
a technician travelling the country for a photocopier company. I
described the whole thing in detail to her and specifically told her to
remember this as I would be bound to ask her in the future if this thing
really happened, did I ring her and tell her of it, or did I merely dream
it?
-
- This is an important "marker tactic"
I have found. If you ever experience anything as out of the ordinary
as this, make sure you make a note of the event, especially written, or
tell someone you trust, soon after, so that when the inevitable day comes,
and your natural human tendency to rationalize or bury breaks with it's
accepted daily routine, begins to try and convince you that such and such
was but a dream, you can go to that note or person and confirm that the
thing was real. I cannot stress this enough.
-
- I have had recourse to asking my wife
on several occasions since, if I did in fact ring her once to tell her
of this event and I am comforted in the knowledge at least that I did so.
Every time it re-affirms for me what was not proof of extraterrestrial
intelligence sure, but certainly proof that the craft which are often attributed
to them exist. I cannot say humans were not piloting the thing, but
I have to wonder what any humans would have been doing "buzzing"
me like that in what would have to be an ultra-top secret craft.
-
- .
-
- The third and most recent sighting occurred
about a half year ago here in Perth, Western Australia. In writing
about it I am aware that it follows a pattern of sightings involving this
very same type of craft, and in particular I have noticed a person on the
East coast of Oz who recently saw something similar. To him and others
who have seen the huge triangular craft, I can only say that you are definitely
not alone. Like so many who see them it still amazes me that not
more saw it, since it was virtually over the city. Certainly a populated
area, and so low as to be shocking of itself.
-
- This happened while driving my two teenage
children back from an educational enrichment program at the local University.
We were driving North on Ranford Road, South of Perth City, and listening
to a radio talkback show when a caller came online to say she was watching
a UFO. The woman gave her location, which was actually west of us
and said she was driving slowly and watching this light which was moving
too erratically and was not a normal craft. The radio announcer started
kidding her, but I said to my kids to look up and keep a sharp eye out
just in case. It was just getting dark, after sunset.
-
- I immediately became aware that there
were lighting configurations of an unusually high number of commercial
aircraft which seemed to be circling the main airport and also I could
recognize the police chopper and at least two more helicopters in the sky,
scattered about. All told there seemed to be a lot of lights and
the commercial aircraft in particular on those patterns, were looking very
odd in a triangular pattern as the angle of viewing changed etc.
Clearly though they were commercial airplanes, especially the blinking
strobe light and red and green nav lights. The closer they came the
more clearly this was so.
-
- One light, at a distance and high, was
constant and bright white. Much higher than the others it was approaching
like any other "plane" from the North. Its brightness exceeded
all the other lights in the sky, including the police searchlight which
was already in play somewhere at the time. Then the light suddenly
went out, or dimmed quickly would be a better description. In its
place a few seconds later was the familiar, triangular pattern of lights,
as what appeared to be another plane approached. It seemed to join
the same pattern as the other aircraft at the start, but as it came closer,
towards us, it looked more and more out of place. The closer this
craft came the more out of place it looked, too low, too slow and too big.
I realized with a jolt that I may be looking at a UFO, and I stopped the
car and the kids and I watched the craft which was by now turning away
from us and receding in a large arc to the east.
-
- At this point I realized that the three
lights which marked what was clearly a complete triangular craft, not merely
the outline as the other plane lights had shown to be as they approached
only half as close, were in fact White, Red and Blue and none of them
was flashing at all. At this time there were no other cars on the
road I could see in either direction though this was merely between traffic
as it is a well trafficked road. At one stage when it was quite close
only a few kilometers and obviously a triangular spaceship, there were
cars but I failed to get their attention, this is a busy enough road and
people were ignoring the guy waving his arms who liked like he was broken
down on the road. Actually I was frantically pointing at this thing
back over their right shoulders. None appeared to glance that way.
Frustrating. Especially as this was a really big craft and it felt
scary as it sailed almost overhead, and some of the other planes triangular
lights which were still visible now began to make me wonder if some of
the surprisingly large number of triangular lights patterns were not all
large craft like this one. I admit to feeling a moment of complete
realization that we could be under invasion and though the moment passed,
I have to tell you the experience was an awesome glance into the emotional
reaction people would experience in such an event. My hair still
stands on end to recall it six months later.
-
- The craft kept turning, or circling and
came even closer, in fact it came to within about a half kilometer at most.
By this time it was clearly visible to both my children and me as a triangular
craft with a few degrees dihedral of the "wings". It had constant
burning lights of Red, Blue and White. One on each corner and the white
was leading. It was no more than about a hundred maybe two hundred
meters off the ground and it moved disconcertingly slowly. Moving
at no more than fifty kilometers an hour. It was overall the biggest
thing I've ever seen in the sky. Twice the size of a football field
and well I can understand that this is such a common comparison made by
others. It was so big and so low and so slow yet the most surreal
part is the lack of sound.
-
- I asked my kids to listen and describe
what they could hear, and the first answer was nothing, but we realized
independently there was a kind of quiet "swishing" sound. Actually
my son and I heard it, the daughter was hiding under the dashboard in the
car at this stage. It reminded me of water trickling over rocks in a small
river. I had the distinct impression that it was the sound of air
moving over what looked to be wing surfaces made of lots of blinds, or
partitions. Sort of a completely grilled surface.
-
- To be honest the closest thing I've ever
seen to this craft was probably in the Battle Star Galactica Movie, or
the Vogon Destructor ships in the original BBC TV production of "Hitchhikers
Guide to the Galaxy".
-
- It kept moving quietly away and I had
by now as said signaled to some cars which were passing to look up.
One finally stopped and he confirmed the lights and apparent shape before
it went too far to distinguish anymore. Furthermore, he had
just heard a UFO report live on the radio too, and it turned out to be
a different radio station and a different part of Perth to the one we had
heard just before. This one was seen in the North, from whence I
had first seen the triangle approach. I rang the Airport control
tower next day, and learned that no anomalous events had occurred, and
according to him there were not unusually many planes in the sky the night
before either. This was odd though because where we live we are able
to see the same skies and certainly I've never seen that many aircraft
up at once. I don't think this is relevant though I mention it as
it has been one of those little things which still niggles at me about
it.
-
- ..
-
- I have as has been intimated a third
sighting and it is in fact the first chronologically. It is of a
different nature and I am unable to supply many details beyond the approximate
time and location, and a basic description of the craft. It occurred
when I was relatively young, in the army and together in fact with a platoon
of soldiers when we collectively experienced this "sighting",
yet it took me nearly twenty years to recall it again. I had luckily
told someone of it at the time, at least enough detail that I was able
to confirm upon asking them if I had reported such a thing at that time.
It seemed from its first appearance in my mind to be just a memory of
a particularly poignant dream. Strong and clear, it stopped me in mid sentence
as it occurred to me. I don't remember dreams for more than seconds as
a rule. I tend to forget dreams very quickly and a few only have left hazy
impressions, continually fading from the time they occurred. This
memory was something different it fitted immediately into context in my
life, I was able to identify immediately when and where I was and why,
and the events leading up to and following the weekend involved can be
recalled.
-
- Even so the memory of the actual moment
of shocking realization that an enormous "spaceship" was about
to hover virtually on top of us as it crept silently over the trees towards
our (harbour) camp, is like a shocking out of place image. No more
or less than a few seconds. A few words of questioning comment
from someone, a group of shocked men, a dropped rifle and then nothing.
The next memory of that weekend is of a few details of the return journey,
in the car of one of the same platoon. This was Army Reserve by the
way. Weekend Warriors and occurred near Northam, also in Western Australia.
It would have been about 1981.
-
- The craft was a large saucer, with lights
of various colours flashing around its periphery.
-
- I have been interested to see the exact
same craft depicted regularly in movies and TV shows.
-
- I find myself wondering now if the flashing
lights of various colours are not in themselves hypnotic to some degree?
-
- Now I know all the obvious conclusions
which are to be drawn from this memory, and believe me I have struggled
long and hard with a memory which has yielded only microseconds more of
itself in the intervening years since first, remembering this event.
I would like to know. Despite feeling an irrational fear when approaching
the memory in a certain state of meditation which feels almost able to
"catch it", but actually shies away like an uncontrollable horse
at the gate. This is my own memory and it weirds me out to have it
appear out of my control. It is not the same as having been so drunk
on one or two occasions or knocked unconscious, such that some memories
are lost. This is like a memory which is in a place in my own mind
I don't have the key to, a place with booby traps protecting it.
Sorry to be so speculative about this, but the emotional reactions I have
to this small snippet of memory is real, the memory is real in as much
as it has a marker, a witness to my report at the time, my mother in fact.
The part of a memory has a lead up in events, clearly identifiable then
something happens which is so big, so in your face that there has to be
a next memory, it has to at least disappear again. I don't care if
I could remember it just disappearing in a flash I'd be happy. Instead
all I remember is a comrade saying "What is it captain, another exercise?"
in a slow unbelieving voice, to the captain who was behind my right shoulder.
Another soldier, maybe me, dropped his SLR as it fell from his fingers
which went loose from the shock of concentrating on a huge, disk like craft
with flashing lights running around it's edges, and bearing down on us
at tree top height. The whole platoon in various stages of setting
up harbour, (camp) were staring in shocked silence at the thing, and then,
the film runs out. It just runs out like an old time movie film.
-
- The thing in the camp did happen, the
guys, the weekend exercise, was real, I did come home and tell my mother
about having seen a huge UFO along with the whole platoon, before crashing
early to bed. Then I remembered not even this much for about twenty
years.
-
- I guess there are others out there with
similar situations. It has taken a long time for me to write about
this. It has been hard, despite referring obliquely to these sightings
before with people. I have told of the second and third experience
before and have no conclusions beyond the fact that I know what I saw,
I am absolutely certain that they were craft of propulsion methods and
overall manufacture which is so far beyond anything we are likely to possess
that I have no problem making the leap of faith to accept they are of extraterrestrial
origin.
-
- I am open to the possibility that we
have subterranean races and sub oceanic ones as well. At least they may
have medium to longer term bases in such locations. I know some things
about a cave system in this state which may answer to those which are spoken
of in South America; these are very large and incredibly deep. The limits
are not known. According to the local aborigines "They go on forever." Possibly
the biggest caves in the world, and the ancient legends of my friends who
have lived there for forty thousand years speak of things which would have
a familiar tune to many UFO researchers. There are cave paintings
as well which look very much like the common Gray depictions. The
native people also identify these as extraterrestrials by the way.
The common archaeological misunderstanding of the "Wandjina Man"
misses this point, but since when did the white man listen to the aborigines.
I've since discovered Bill Chalker has written of some of this and I can
only support his words about these things with my own testimony from a
different tribe to those he mentions but the same area of the Kimberley.
-
- I hope that my account has given some
rest to others as many others' accounts have done so for me. Obviously
I have no doubts about the fact of Extraterrestrial life and its presence
here about and among us. Having read as much of what I can find on
the subject, it seems to me to be a matter of the most supreme importance
to establish the truth of these things and I encourage any who know anything
to come forward. The only reason we lack empirical answers I think is that
the subject itself has yet to achieve a mainstream consciousness,
but that seems to be changing.
-
- One often wonders is this change the
cause or the result of recent movie and TV media presentations centering
about Aliens and UFOs?
-
- I would like to extend my many thanks
to this witness for sending in these reports, which are so very important.
