Silencing The Conscience

By Tony Salvatore
4-5-5

I believe that almost all human persons have a conscience which governs their actions. It makes them recognize right from wrong. It forces them to choose right in most cases. In rare instances, a few persons have no conscience. They may in fact be possessed by the devil, or be truly evil, or be so mentally ill that they cannot distinguish right from wrong.

I do not know, nor can I know, nor do I need to know, the state of the moral conscience of Michael Schiavo, George Felos, George Greer, Jim King, or all those, who believe that causing Terri Schiavo to be starved and dehydrated thuman persons. Before Roe v. Wade could become the law of the land it was necessary to condition our society to accept the terms fetus and embryo in place of the term unborn child. A doctor who performs hundreds of late term partial birth abortions, silences his or her conscience, by describing this act not as the killing of an unborn child, but merely as an intact dilation and extraction of a fetus. Persons such as Terri are classified as being in a vegetative state, as if a comparison to a vegetable would indicate there has been a loss of whatever it is that distinguishes us as human. Once these dehumanizing labels become common, and accepted, it then follows that those in these groups are no longer entitled to their inalienable rights, the most fundamental of which is the right to life.

There are numerous examples throughout history where this technique has been applied. In this country, in the 18asses, the elderly, infirmed, mentally disabled and Jews, had no sanctity of life and no right to life and liberty. Once again, there was no intrinsic human value, only an economic value. 'Useless feeders'? could be, and should be, eliminated.

Once again we are witnessing this dehumanizing process. The sanctity of life is being replaced by concern for the quality of life. The right to life is being replaced by the right to die. It is no longer necessary, or even desirable, to preserve life when to do so is burdensome, or that life no longer contributes value to our society

We have arrived at a place where our consciences are being silenced. How did we arrive here and how do we restore the concept that all life is sacred, and all human persons have an inalienable right to life and liberty?

Jeff and Readers,

Seems to me Shiavo and Greer (don't deserve the respect of Mr.) were outvoted even by the highest of authorities on the planet, but they seemed to have more power than that. What is wrong with this picture?

Since when does a marriage certificate give a non-blood relative more power than even a Mother. It does take us back to the crucifixion of Christ and Mother Mary unable to intervene. But in this case the voices were for Terri, not against her and yet only a few voices claimed victory in their evil agenda. When an atrocity such as this murder of an innocent human being can happen, it does lead the masses to question their faith. The Institution(s) that allowed this should now walk with their heads in shame. Those who have remained quiet in the shadow of intimidation and possibly threat, should also walk in shame, knowing they are contributing to the degradation of moral ethics. The only lesson I have learned here is that there is an evil presence among us that has power over and above all of humanity, that some are above the law and above God.

I hope now Terri and the Pope are joined together in the heavens having a nice discussion on Michael's, and those responsible for her crucifixion, fate. Forgive them for they know not what they do, but will find out on their exit from this planet in their new home down under. There is a place in the universe for us all depending on our performance on this plane.

And a quick reminder to anyone getting married, make sure you legally designate a guardian in the event of illness. Don't leave your demise to someone who will only profit from your undeserving and planned exit. And if you are incapacitated as was Terri, make sure you legally inform your family of your wishes prior and that immediate divorce will be enforced, eliminating the lining of someone's pockets on your death, other than those you wish to benefit from your death.

Shame it has come to this, that we as a decent species, have lowered ourselves to this level of protection from those that are supposed to love us. The connection of blood no longer deems respect. Decency is failing fast.

Dear Jeff:

Thank you again for the wonderful job you have done covering this situation, and again, our family's hearts are united in prayer and grief with Terri's family and all of those who were fighting down in Florida who were trying to keep her alive, as was supposed to be her right guaranteed under the Constitution and due process. Enough others have already written into your site expressing the truth as regards the hypocrisy of the governor and the president, who COULD have stepped in and helped her, but like the false opposition that most of the Republicans seem to be to the pro death agenda, and the new world order jackboots in your face agenda in general, they pretend to speak for the right, but act for the left - or act for DEATH, if one might make a substitution of what someone once said - and actions are what count.

I would encourage every one of your site readers who has not picked up some of Wesley J. Smith's books dealing with the Culture of Death to pick one up and read what he documents. Terri's case is NOT isolated. Indeed, Mr. Smith's book I am currently reading because of what has been happening to Terri, and which was written in 1997, Forced Exit: The Slippery Slope From Assisted Suidide to Legalized Murder, documents several cases already where starvation and dehydration have been used on people who were not even as cognitively disabled as Terri was - the most particularly distressing one was the case cited by Mr. Smith of Marjorie Nighbert, who suffered a stroke and was in therapy in a nursing home for rehab, but was having some difficulty with learning the techniques on how to swallow properly. She had expressed to her brother verbally (here again, nothing in writing) that if she had been TERMINALLY ILL, she would not necessarily want life saving measures taken for her - however, hours to make this determination. Seeing her in such a weakened state, he made the decision to tell the judge that she was not competent, and so the judge forced the ending of Marjorie's life through the same means that Terri has been killed today. If my recollection is correct, this happened in Florida in April, 1995. There was apparently some local media coverage when one nurse tried to be a whistleblower about the starving and dehydration of this lady, but the national media wouldn't touch it because a person who is begging to be fed and given liquids is NOT a good poster child for their agenda of euthanasia, infanticide (bioethicist Peter Singer's ideas - children up through 18 months old are 'mackerel' according to Singer) etc. (One wonders how the brother might have benefitted financially from his sister's death as well!)

Also, according to Mr. Smith's book, the AMA changed the definition of food and water from 'humane care' to 'medical treatment' in the 1980s. But, very much in character with Michael Schiavo's lawyer, George Felos', notion of being able to tell if a person wants to be killed through euthanasia or not by 'looking into their eyes,' many bioethicists in this country now think that doctors and medical personnel and any 'expert' they choose to name should have the right to determine if killing someone off is in the 'best interest' of the person, regardless of any medical directives they might leave or ANY family member appointed to act on their behalf that clearly express their wish to have everything done for them. Part of the reasons given for ending people's lives are: (1) cost (2) 'futility' of further treatment, leading to 'no improvement' in condition (3) 'end their suffering', etc. Dr. Marcia Angell, who Smith lists in his 1997 book at that time was the executive editor of the respectre to continue would be comforted by the knowledge that the decision to terminate their loved one's life was not personal." Smith brilliantly sums up the motives of the euthanasia/right-to-death activists (which I would include all the judiciary in the Schiavo case as falling under, as well as the vast majority of the mainstream media talking heads) on pp. 165-66 "...that if patients or their families want to be dehydrated to death when the patient is in a cognitively disabled condition, the killing will be done supposedly out of a deep and abiding respect for personal autonomy. But if a family should rebel against the prevailing medical value system and want to keep their unconscious loved one alive, apparently the right to autonomy is no longer important - even though unconcious patients sometimes wake up years after being diagnosed as permanently unconscious."

As Smith cited in the case of German euthanasia proponents Karl Binding and Alfred Hoche's book PERMITTING THE DESTRUCTION OF LIFE NOT WORTHY OF LIFE published in 1920 (of which Hitler was a BIG fan), those who were deemed 'permissible' to kill were (1) the terminally ill or mortally wounded individuals who 'have been irretrievably lost as a result of illness or injury, who fully understand their situation, posses and have somehow expressed an urgent wish for release.' (2) "Incurable idiots," who are an economic burden on society and an emotional burden on their families (according to the two authors) - today's euthanasia types describe these people as not having a good 'quality of life' - and you can name just about any mentally challenged or disabled person under this category, and (3) the 'unconscious' who Hoche and Binding say 'if they ever again were roused from their comatose state, would waken to nameless suffering.' (see Smith, p. 74 for the above). As we can see, the Felos types and

The most disgusting thing to me tonight was hearing Michael Schiavo's two brothers going on the various shows and disparaging Terri's brother and Fr. Pavone for calling a spade a bloody shovel by saying Terri's death had been a killing and that Michael was abominably cruel, not allowing her siblings and parents to be with her as she died. One wonders if Michael gets any kind of reserve insurance fraud or any kind of payoff from the euthanasia activist groups, what portion of those payments his brothers were promised for going along with his version of events on 'Terri's wishes.' Fr. Pavone also stated this a.m. that he did not see Michael Schiavo anywhere in the area when Terri was near death, though the media is telling everyone, via Felos, that old Michael was in the room with her as she went. God and Terri and the police officers who were doing the "proud"duty of keeping a woman from receiving water or food by mouth know how true those claims are.

One last thing - I truly believe what goes around comes around, and I think that those who love death and abuse an innocent person eventually get their comeuppance - for certain in the next world, but oftentimes in this world as well. Wouldn't it be ironic if the day comes when old Michael might have some sort of illness and his children by Jodi decide to starve him to death to get him out of the way because he's now become an 'inconvenience' to them? Undoubtedly, from the evidence of all the affadavits listed, including the post Terri injury, pre Jodi mistress, Cindy Shook, Michael will probably go on abusing women (watch out Jodi, when you grow too old or fat for him!) and getting away with it in this world, as long as we have the sort of "justice" that has presided over Terri's death.

God bless you, Jeff, for always taking a stand for truth - I hope we still have people like you and Alex Jones around for some time longer to hear what is really going on in the world.

"The Centers for Disease Control predict that more than 50% of all
Americans living today, will spend their last years decaying in nursing
homes unable to care for themselves. More than 50%!"

That's got to be a serious drain on the economy, eh?

Having to pay them Social Security - and then front medical costs on top of it.
It'd be so much cheaper, if you're a government, to just euthanize them.

A correlating idea on that same wavelength ... Codex Alimentarius.

"Having free access to information about the health benefits of vitamins and other natural therapies is the key to a healthy and long life without the risk of side effects and new diseases associated with many prescription drugs. The dissemination of this life-saving information on natural health offers the unique chance to get control over cardiovascular disease and many other health problems. A ban on these natural remedies - as planned by Codex Alimentarius - would mean that these diseases would continue unnecessarily."

If there's any concerted force behind the railroading and murder of Terri Shiavo, (beyond the Hemlock lawyer and his Scientologist judge buddy) it smacks of being about 'usefulness' in general ... and not living on and on once you've sank beneath that usefulness.

Consider.

Good work and best regards,

Jeff -

I, like Alex Jones and many others, refuse to dignify the monstrous adulterer Michael Schiavo (who surname appropriately means "slave" - of the Power Elite, I suppose) by calling Terri by her married name. For all practical purposes, he was a bigamist, among his more charming traits.

But Michael Slave will, in time, be seen as only a minor character in this case, which will have effects too far-reaching for most Amerikan sheeple to grasp until it is too late - if it's not too late already.

My lama consistently teaches about how rare and precious it is to have attained a human incarnation, and how terrible it would be to waste such privilege. Think of all the life forms on the planet, let alone the Cosmos, that are not presently enjoying that rare opportunity! Of course, it's obvious that Terri, to the very best of her ability, did not give up her life easily. It should be clear to anyone who was not blinded by their own prejudices (such as some who wanted her to die simply because the neocon Republicans appeared to be defending her - I'm not kidding!) that she desperately wanted to remain alive. Who among us can reasonably say what processes went on in her mind? Felos, the death-worshipping demon who can read the thoughts of the dying? RIGHT!

I hope he will speak to this issue again in a retreat coming up later this month; if not, I will make it a point to ask him if he would speak to it, while this ritual murder is still fresh in our minds.

Lord knows nothing stays in it very long for most of us.

Thank you for publishing so many vital opinions on this case in the past few weeks.

Schiavo got his way. The 'bitch' is dead. That 'bitch' was a human being with rights stamped upon by her erstwhile husband, by a liberal and intolerably 'untouchable' judicial system and by the PEOPLE of this nation. People who seemingly did not give a crap and who worse, made it their business NOT to know more than they were fed by the above perpetrators. Again I use my favorite phrase to describe U.S. ... LEMMINGS to a man, woman and child.

Dr. Patricia Doyle wrote that the emails she received were outrageous in the attitude and language they contained. Of course they were. This is Amerika. Land of the fee and home of the knave.

In past articles and essays I recommended that liberals go to Canada. It's a great place for libs. Now, I would recommend that a goodly percentage of our population follow them, liberal, conservative and the like. Get the hell out of Amerika so we can once again be what the Founders wanted us to be. A God fearing, God trusting and powerful element in world affairs. This, in lieu of the whimp attitude, the disrespect for human life, uncaring of our elders, many of whom are locked away in nursing homes and hospices just to get them out of our way and a Godless society. A Republic ... with the Judeo/Christian ethic we were born with.

Michael Schiavo will live to regret his mean spirited and sociopathic dealings. A more modern definition of Karma might be, "What goes around, comes around." And it will come around for him. In the form of hatred of what he's done by many of us, living with the cruelty he demonstrated, living with the meanness he demonstrated to Terri Schindler's family ( I won't curse her memory by using her married name) and by, I pray, finally getting what he deserves out of this. A criminal investigation into the 'accident' and death of Terri Schindler.

May God have mercy on our souls.

As for Michael, I don't think so. Nor do I much care.

Yes, Jeff, I agree with your comments. Let me add some:

The NWO-Illuminati controllers are using this Terri drama:

* To divide people: think of all the heated arguments between regular folks on this, much like the abortion issue

* Many folks' knee jerk reaction to this is that she should die because its a drain on public money...whether or not this is the case here is irrelevant...the economic system of LACK is created on purpose...the degradation of the middle class is created by the elite...to make people more callous to one another, to promote 'survival of the fittest'.
It reminds me of 1995 in Ontario; the Liberal govt was way ahead in the polls leading up to a provincial election...a few weeks before the election, the right wing leader says he would institute 'workfare' so the lazy bums basically wouldn't get welfare checks unless they worked for it...now...welfare payments were only a miniscule part of the budget, but, this roused the redneck quotient in people and this right wing party rocketed up in the polls from this and won the next 2 elections...make people blame others, instead of the system that is SET UP to create lack...I'm sure the Tavistock Institute knew this long ago.

* Making culling of the weak seem normal, thus, making the public believe what the Illuminati belive...eugenics...that 'lower' individuals should be eliminated from society, to better society.

* This could be literally a mind-control ritual killing...much like the Cremation of Care cermony the upper elite attend at Bohemian Grove every year. Like Alex Jones talks about, they are trying to kill in us all that is good, and replace it with thoughts of death.

* Showing that current laws/government system is ALL POWERFUL. Now whatever laws have applied throughout this drama are not God's laws, they were created here and there over many years, and many will be gone or changed in the future, but look how POWERFUL the law looks now, as you had THE PRESIDENT and THE GOVERNOR, publicly 'try' to do something and then put up their hands and say, 'I cant do anything'. This is a powerful mind-control message...They are setting up laws and the state as being THE ULTIMATE POWER....heck, if the top leaders are powerless, how powerful can I be? (joe public asks himself). Photos of a kid in handcuffs for trying to bring Terri water...powerful mind-control symbol.

* Making ACTIVISM seem FUTILE. Look at all the activism and public outcry to save Terri. When she dies now, most people will feel like they have no power. The message here is: why bother doing anything, because nothing will happen anyway. This will help the elite in the event of a war with or Iran, as well as the economic carnage about to happen in the US.

Keep up the good work, Jeff!

Jeff -

It's absolutely amazing and infuriating to watch the forcred death, the murder of Terri Shiavo. Whatever happened to the maxim that USED to be the basis of our legal system, that if it "ain't in writing, it ain't!" This was a lesson of every legal drama on TV in the sixties: get it in writing.

Mr. Shiavo, the weasel-spouse, claims this is/was "Terri's wish." Yet he offers no proof other than his testimony. Considering he withheld trreatments after her settlement, has taken up with a new "wife" and even had children by her, it's *outrageous* that any thinking person could consider him Terri's "guardian." His actions betrayed the marriage and Terri long ago. We have only his word, and reason enough to doubt.

One wonders if his "rush to death" is because he has dark secrets?...

In addition, isn't a guardian supposed to "protect and defend the rights of their ward, thier charge"? Certainly his parents could and should file a lawsuit against him for violating Terri's rights. Consider that one of the medical and pyschological experts visiting Terri in 2002 filed an affidavit that stated Terri could be rehabilitated to eat and speak again.

But Michael doesn't want Terri to speak ---ever--and he got his wish.

But sometimes the dead do speak--and Mr. Shiavo is gonna have to deal with ghosts and guilt eventually. Mr. Shiavo's lawyer, the judge, and others have conflicts of interest that DEMAND to be investigated and exposed.

If anyone thought the government "cares" about each of us as individuals, the MURDER of Terri Schiavo shows just the opposite.

And where did Mr.Bush, our "illegitimate" president, get the TWISTED idea that we should "err on the side of life?"

No, Mr. Bush, choosing live is NOT an error. Choosing death is. Inflicting death is. Choosing life ishould be our highest value and duty.

But that statement exposes Mr. Bush's warped values. He apparrantly thinks choosing life is wrong, be infact he is wrong. He was wrong about Iraq and Weapons of Mass Destruction ( or was it Distracion?) . Watch what he says and what he does--there is an BIG inconguency bewteen his words and actions.

*What we Can Do Next*

Government and business corruption is apparent everywhere.

Mr. Truman, although not my favorite president, at least took the responsibility that "the buck stops here". And since the President is the' most visible sign of what's gone wrong, I suggest we start a national effort to recall Mr. Bush. I certainly would give him a "vote" of "no confidence". Let's get Mr. Bush out of office as a sign to the entire world that we, the citizens of the US, are the Masters and the government our servants, and that we are reclaiming our power and our democracy.

And never ever vote FOR an incumbent!

Such actions are urgently needed, but I fear the sheeple are too asleep.

Dear Jeff,

Thank you for standing up for "life". I find your show 'interesting' and somewhat provocative, to say the least. But I was surprised and grateful for your stance on Terri's death. I applaud your effort on behalf of human rights, life, liberty, and happiness.

Hi Jeff,

What was done to the Terri Schindler was a cruel and prolonged execution. It clearly involved a political agenda and represents another blow to mainstream Christianity's stance on the sacredness of life. The reasons for my statement are self-evident to many. Father Pavone and Tom Delay are of course correct in labeling this execution a murder. I agree with them and I am not a "conservative christian" nor am I a "right-wing Bible-belt maniac". In fact, I consider myself a run of the mill Catholic with a rather liberal stance on most things. I do however refuse to bargain with innocent life because it is most sacred and I believe that evil (Satanic) forces are in full swing these days. Some may be inclined to call me crazy. With what has been building up in the world over the last years, that's fine with me and I'll take it as a compliment.

The buckets of nonsense, arrogance, mendacity, hypochrisy, and evil that were hurled at the world over the timeline of this tragedy are mind boggling and disgusting. They represent a decayed morality and a collection of ethics which are grounded in NOTHINGNESS. Many of their arguments were quite clearly whimsical, shady, twisted, speculative, and spurious. In fact, many stank of "satanic" reversals of what most would consider good Christian values. Aside from all the rhetoric and impression management for the benefit of mindless TV viewers these pro-death freaks have engaged in, it became quite apparent to me that this Schiavo fellow's eyes were demonic in character and this soft-spoken and seemingly concerned Felos fellow was a slippery reptile obsessed with death. Although I have not seen the activist Judge Greer in an interview to garnish an impression, I suspect he is no better and that he is also greatly afflicted by ungodly voices.

In sum, in this surreal world, we are being sold one abomination after another on the idiot box. America is basically being taken apart at its seems. Now that murder has become OK, perhaps paedophilia will soon become acceptable or at the very least justifiable; and paedophiliacs will be presented as victims of society's misunderstanding of their needs, desires and motives. Ditto with rapists and even suicide groups coordinating their actions over the Internet. Afterall, the ghouls who have put Terri to death talk about various "rights" and hold that we need to engage in a balanced dialogue on all things, even when they deal with the most sacred violations of one's soul and body.

Just a final thought: Given their affliction of the soul and the fact that it is most likely irreversible, I would not lose a second of sleep if someone were to "euthanize" Schiavo, Greer and Lentos in no particular order and thus put a meaningful dent in the greater misery and agony their philosophy may otherwise soon bring to many a common folk who will end up in the same predicament as Terri and her immediate family. This healing gesture would perhaps bring many around the world and the Schindler family in particular to forgive these reptiles and to forget them soon after. They deserve no better and this may serve as the exorcism which is quite clearly needed in America.

On the other hand, at this moment, I am watching Felos on CNN. He just admitted that he and Michael Schiavo have living wills. Perhaps a more suitable and fitting form of justice would involve the artful use of a mallet on their frontal lobes by an able plumber. Theoretically, this should leave the more basic brain functions intact and they can move on with their lives in a hospice and have the opportunity to live out firsthand their little fantasy about a dignified, gentle and peaceful death with morphine suppositories; no food or water; surrogate families comprised of "compassionate and concerned nurses and doctors" who, for the most part, would not hesitate to shoot them up with a blast of morphine and send them on their way to meet their maker; balancing the needs of the individual, his/her family, and those of society; etc...

I extend my most sincere sympathies and condoleances to the noble Schindler family as well as to those who tried to save Terri's life.

America, by our lack of compassion and our willingness to kill and murder without justification has sealed her doom.

It will now be a seriously slippery slope downhill to a fate worse than ancient Rome, or Soddom and Gomorrah. As sad as Terri Schaivo's case is, Terri isn't the cause of our coming judgment, Terri was simply an unfortunate symptom of just how wicked and inhumane America has become, she was an outward manifestation of a much more seriously ingrained sickness now eating away like a cancer on our society, a total disdain and disregard for the sanctity of human life everywhere. No one seriously came to Terri's defense, no one will come to America's defense when she falls (dies), which may be sooner that we would like to believe.

God has spiritual Babylon's fate already set. No nation on earth more closely identifies with Revelation 18, than the United States of America. Let the misguided false prophets point to all the mideastern nations they wish, NONE fit the description more closely than America today. No where in the bible does it suggest the antichrist must be a Jew! It simply says, if another shall come in his own name, him you will accept. Most make the scriptures say what is convenient for them, most accounts today being false. God has sent 'them" (the church), strong delusion and they have bought into the lie, we are now seeing the results of that mistake, having only a "form of godliness," (playing church). America will not escape judgment! And, judgment MUST begin at the house of God.

Revelation 18:9 ¶And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. Could America suffer a nuclear holocaust as her judgment? One should read the entire chapter of Rev. 18 for better clarification.

I'm so angry that I could write several pages here, but I believe everything has already been said and now it is too late, anything I say now will be redundant. America has reached the depths of depravity and shame! I am most appalled that our president can by pass congress, circumvent, or at least intimidate them into starting a war killing hundreds of thousands of innocents (Iraq and Afghanistan), yet he couldn't, or wouldn't, stop the judicial murder of Terri Schaivo. I am also sickened at the weak, phony attempt by politicians in the extreme end of Terri's plight to put on a political show, or act, for personal gain, anyone could see through this sham.

One has to wonder what possible criminal acts might have been buried in the hastened and determined killing of Terri (why the constant coverage-unusual protection by her husband and the insistent isolation of Terri, was there something to hide?) I know, Terri has been disabled for fourteen years, but, only recently has Terri's case been brought to light, publicly, thanks to sites like Jeff Rense's, on which I have followed for a couple of years now. The main stream media has only been involved long enough to twist and distort the facts, as usual. National news media, Satan's bedfellows. When did we go from "investigative news reporting" to "canned, government dictated" news reporting? The evening news is little more than "reality TV comedy," presented by "Orwell's" Winston Smith type talking heads, mental calisthenics for the brainwashed.

Why were none of the allegations of possible abuse ever investigated, or at least questioned by the authorities? Why could Terri not have her day in court? Any American with an IQ over 10 knows the government can, and will do anything they want to do, citizens (or established law) be damned. There are no "real" citizens rights in America, only what the state says we can have, or what we can financially afford in the very questionable judicial system. We live an illusion of freedom, worked and taxed to death by the elite few, banking and corporate interest, smothered in credit card debt to ever be in servitude to the system. Even a retard in the court systems knows that something very serious was wrong in Terri's case, too many unanswered questions.

To not permit a mother and father to be at their child's bedside at the time of severe sickness or death is sadistic and morally disgusting, only prevented by a totally heartless ogre. "Compassionate husband," what a cruel joke. Even the worst of parents are allowed to hold the hand of a dying child if they choose to do so. This goes far beyond my own definition of the word "compassion," and places an evil connotation on the word. What happened to the constitution of the United States and the Bill Of Rights in Terri's case? What a crock..."LIFE," LIBERTY and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS..."LIFE"being the first and foremost guarantee. What a lie, but then America lives on lies today doesn't it?

If I hear this "loving husband" remark pertaining to Terri's husband once more, I believe I'll puke. I have never witnessed anything further from a human being, based on the information available. Kill a dog or cat in America, go to jail, pay heavy fines; Kill a human being in America get income from motion pictures rights and book sales, and be promoted to a higher level in society, maybe even as a Senator.

At this point I am only certain of three things:

1. The state run (controlled) brainwashed churches in America should be outlawed and disbanded as being totally worthless. Where were the bleeding hearts that support war and torture on innocent civilians in other countries?

2. I have never been more terrified of being an American than I am in the hour in which we live under this present form of government. I feel like an anti Nazi might have felt in the late 1930s flag waving, nationalistic parading, Hitler worshiping Germany, living in a land of "Brown Shirts," "Youth Squads (who even reported on their parents), and Gestapo. Silence in America today really is golden...for survival. Something scary this way comes.

3. I personally believe America owes an apology to Adolph Hitler and his henchmen, as we are now setting the world standard (bar) in inhumanity and the hatred of human life. Also, I would think God would apologize to Soddom and Gomorrah for allowing the United States to live in such gross and horrible iniquity and not judge us. America has now set the bar for murder and torture at an all time high, who can excel it? America may not kill in gas chambers (at least it hasn't been made public yet) but those who die in her abortion clinics, hospitals, health care homes, Hospice facilities, illegal wars, military run houses of torture, all under the doctor's, courts and military/corporate legal stamps are just a s dead, all with the blessings of Christianity. Killers ...all!

Makes a civilized person ashamed to be part of the human race. Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus, or no flesh shall be saved.

Thus ends the most barbaric show of human inhumanity I have ever had the displeasure of witnessing.

For 18 years, I ran one of the largest wildlife rehabilitation facilities in Florida, during which time I personally cared for 20,000 wild birds and animals. As I stated in a letter the Governor last week, not one of the wild animals was ever deliberately starved to death on my watch.

All of those wild birds and animals had to be fed through what might be considered "artificial means," because while in captivity, they were dependent upon the caretakers into whose hands their care had been placed. No longer in the wild, they had to look to us for their water, their nourishment, and hopefully, their rehabilitation so that they might once again be free and no longer in need of caretakers. This was all that Terri's parents were asking for her, as well.

I am reminded of the 1980s, when a few severe, freak, arctic weather fronts came through the north Florida area, and hundreds of pelicans along the shorelines suffered not only frostbite, but faced starvation because the small surface fish disappeared.

Although we had no funds, I announced that my group was going to feed all of the birds along the shoreline in order to avoid a catastrophe, but that we needed help in order to do this. The majority of the public immediately responded from the depths of their compassion. Overnight, we received enough funds to begin feeding the pelicans right away. Even children donated, knowing in their own innocent hearts that starvation is not right when it can be prevented.

I was stunned when I then had to face an extremely vocal group of protestors (including one particularly vocal gentleman from California), who gave statements to the press that I was 'interfering with nature,' and that I should be forced to 'let nature take is course.' This group wanted the birds to be permitted to die of starvation. Among their chants was one about 'survival of the fittest

Nature did take its course on those January days. My group and I - as much a part of nature as the pelicans, themselves - stepped in and offered a helping hand where one was badly needed. We are, after all, caretakers of the earth, are we not? The birds lived.

We need to remember that laws are meant to serve us; we are not meant to blindly serve laws. Laws that do not serve us well should be changed. Someone else reminded us of this about 2000 years ago, and I wonder in which group he was standing in during the past 13 days.

Would he have been standing with those asking for simple compassion, or would he have been in the other group demanding a slow death at the hands of caretakers. My son, John, says he thinks he saw him in the ten-year-old boy who was arrested for trying to bring a glass of water to the starving woman. John said, "Maybe he was hoping we would look at this and ask, 'What is wrong with this picture?'"

It is truly a tragedy when people who are different, but still breathing, are sentenced to death. One such person was Terri Schiavo, sentenced to death by the very judicial system that was enacted to protect the citizens of this country. Well, I am not surprised when the foundation of a nation is built on genocide --murdering the American Indians --and the constant mass murder of the unborn makes this one of the most brutal societies in the world.

I am not surprised after all it is this country, its murderous regime and ignorant people that call the murder of thousands of Afghans and Iraqis as 'collateral damage.' That is what happens when human beings are viewed as mere objects, then their murder become rather easy. Instead of calling that loss of civilians, the government keeps on repeating the word collateral damage. Incidentally, it is a very effective way to ward off any feelings of guilt? Actually, not, how could a government and a people feel guilty when they murder their own unborn with the stroke of a legal pin, it is beyond me.

However, it goes back to the false notion of objectivity and quantification of reality because as long as feelings and humanity are removed from any action the rest is easy to swallow. In this tragedy, it is not only the government at fault but also the American people, who are not only utterly ignorant but also conditioned like Pavlov's dog repeating the official lines.

Congratulation Americans, good job!

Is this George Bush's real solution for the bankrupt social security system, about to be ravaged by the baby boomers? Now that our government has officially come for the infirmed, how much longer will the rest of us stand by, before we do something? They have already come after the unborn, they have come after the Moslem, and they have come for the minds of our children. How long will it be before they come for the politically incorrect, the Christian, or perhaps the Patriot? And when they do, who will be left to stand with you and protect you? If we cannot even stand up and protect the most defenseless of our society, how can we protect the healthy individuals either? As a people, we cannot hand over our right to life, to the government to do as it will. We must prove to our government that it does not have the authority to kill our innocent citizens now, before it has established power to do so, or we can simply wait for them to come.

Damn it all to hell!

For two weeks an innocent woman was allowed to be slowly murdered through the hideous torture of starvation. This woman was not a vegetable, brain dead, or comatose. She was alive, alert, responsive, could vocalize words, recognize loved ones, react to music, swallow, and was only forced to be on a feeding tube because the monster that some have speculated was responsible for her injuries and disabled state would not allow any form of physical or speech therapy. Previous nurses who cared for her have signed affidavits indicating (among other things) that they successfully fed this woman orally, but only stopped when threatened by the monster the courts consider to be her husband.

This woman had a loving and caring set of parents and siblings that would have lovingly cared for and provided her every need for the rest of her life. However, her husband could not allow that and perhaps he wanted to make sure she could never be rehabilitated and tell the world how her physical problems had been caused in the first place... perhaps by a cruel and hateful physical assault.

For almost two weeks the political and religious leaders of the world watched this innocent woman starve and did nothing to save her life. A few pieces of legislation were passed after extreme political bickering, but the vast majority of all religious leaders and politicians just sat by and allowed a murder to occur right in front of them. The so-called "Christian" (but quite often not at all Christ-like) right as a whole allowed her to die and apparently approve of an adulturous husband fathering children with another woman having moral authority over a disabled spouse, and the liberals did not lift a finger to help this woman who, it is alleged, may have been a victim of assault and now murder by an abusive husband trying to coverup his crime, the court system convicted her to death repeatedly without considering her rights as an individual or even looking at the real evidence of her condition and the situation as a whole, and of course the Bush brothers who pretend to be such moral and upright Christian citizens were just too chicken utilize their executive authority to send in the Federal Marshals and SAVE HER LIFE!

The vast majority of the world abanded Terri instead of trying to fight to prevent her murder. The now obviously corrupt leaders of the Christian right, the liberal left, the religious leaders of this nation, the court system, and even the radical feminists have now declared by their inaction that the murder of an innocent woman is acceptable! They abandoned Terri and by doing so have proven that it is time for us to abandon any hope for moral condition of this nation, this world, our civilization, or humanity.

For goodness sakes, even the majority of LIBERTARIANS were silent! They are usually so big and bold about declaring one's authority over their own body and life, but about this situation nothing was heard from them but silence.

Some might say these words are too harsh. But the evidence alleging that Terri was murdered is blaringly strong, detailed, and rock solid. Don't believe it? Then do the research, take the time to read everything at http://www.terrisfight.org and http://www.blogsforterri.com

You will see allegations that a violent man violently assaulted his wife, cried false tears to win malpractice lawsuits claiming to need money to rehabilitate his wife personally for the rest of his life, then after being awarded the money canceled all forms of therapy for his wife, did everything possible to accelerate her demise by even prohibiting not only physical or speech therapy but also antibiotics when she had infections; it is reported that he managed to unite a few Judges and his lawyer together in an alleged plot to kill Terri so she could never tell the world of his crime against her, utilized every method possible to have her MIS-diagnosed as in a persistant vegetative state, refused to allow tests to be performed that could have allowed for an ACCURATE diagnosis, and then for years fought to have her feeding tube removed (while at the same time being as cruel as possible to her family) until he won and was able to slowly starve and dehydrate his aware and alert wife until she was dead.

A murder has taken place that is blatant, obvious, and plain to see. But the leaders of the major institutions of our society have ignored it and looked the other way rather than face any opposition or backlash from taking action to save this innocent woman. These individuals have not only Terri's blood but also her pain, suffering, hunger, and devastatingly severe thirst on their hands.

George Bush could have saved Terri. He had the power, the authority, and it was his duty to uphold the US Constitution to protect her life and liberty.

He did nothing but say a few words about the situation and let her to be MURDERED.

Jeb Bush could have saved Terri. He had the power, the authority, and it was his duty to uphold the Florida Constitution. As Governor it is his duty to uphold the state constitution that guarantees the life and liberty of its citizens.

He did nothing but talk, argue with other politicians, and allow her to be MURDERED.

Both George and Jeb Bush had the executive powers (of the USA and the state of Florida) to save her life, but they allowed a MURDER to occur on their watch to avoid the political backlash that they would have faced from others.

They are both cowardly chickens and there is nothing truly "conservative" or "Christ-like" about them. Now we know they personally are not against MURDER, don't think enough of innocent life to be worth protecting, and has shown their DISREGARD to the Constitution of the United States of America.

Also, not only did the leaders of OUR nation do little or nothing to save Terri, but also the rest of the world refused to take action as well. It would seem like the leader of some nation somewhere would have cared enough to make the trip to Florida. But it seems the entire world placed no value on the life of an innocent woman being murdered.

This nation and world deserves to be damned to hell by God almighty. We have proven that our civilization has no value or respect for innocent life, looks away from murder (even when it is happening in plain sight), and desires to protect an adulturous, reportedly abusive and violent husband more than an innocent woman with a loving family of parents and siblings begging emotionally for her life.

If God were not so loving, mericiful, forgiving, and gracious our entire civilization would be removed from this planet. I am both thankful that God cared about us so much he sent his son to die for us on the cross, but at the same time wondering if we are becoming so spoiled by his mercy that we have became something less than the name "human" is supposed to signify.

I am now thankful we have not traveled to other worlds, colonized space, and spread our species across the stars. The last two weeks has proven we are nothing more than greedy, cowardly, and hateful animals that care more about our popularity or position than doing the RIGHT THING.

We as a species are rabid, cruel, and heartless animals. The conservative, the liberal, the right, the left, the feminist, the progressive, the libertarian, and the religious. Nothing of value remains in our hearts, our character has degraded beyond recognition, and we don't deserve the gift of God's love.

If my faith in the "system" our so called "government" or the court system was quickly fading before the past two weeks it has now completely vanished.

Everything that might have been or should be of value about our civilization has went strait to hell. There is no use to pretend any longer that our religious, political, or legal systems have any true legitimacy any longer.

An innocent woman was slowly tortured, starved, and murdered.

The entire world watched.

It had two weeks to act.

BUT IT DID NOTHING WHATSOEVER!

Even though I hope God will be merciful to this planet for the few of the ordinary folks that maintain the last spark of decency on earth the truth is now apparent, and I am NOT afraid to state it.

From this point on whether it is global warming, an asteroid collision, or some ecological collapse from polluion...humanity deserves it whatever it gets!

But Terri's husband Michael, his lawyer Felos, Judge Greer, and any other cohorts in their alleged conspiracy deserve to be tried in court, found guilty by a jury, sentenced, and be sent to prison.

Even murderers don't deserve to be tortured, harmed, or starved to death. No human being does.

The pain Terri has went through for the past two weeks being deprived of food and water is already enough. For her sake, let there be no more.

At least Terri is with God and now knows peace, because we now know the human civilization on Earth is not far from hell and Satan.

Hello, Jeff - I was so sorry to hear about Terri. For someone who allegedly 'wanted' to die, she surely gave it a good fight. 13 days.

I had never received such nasty emails as those sent to me over my opinion on Terri. I never knew such terrible language existed. Amazing.

Remind me to stay out of Florida. I would hate to take ill there.

I am so sorry for Terri and America. "All that we need for evil to triumph is for the good to do nothing."

Incidently, if I were Michael Schiavo's girlfriend - aka common law wife - I would think twice about marrying him. In the very least, I would make sure to have a legal living will.

To take a lesson from the Scriptures, when Israel didn't want God directly dealing with the people, it asked for mortal kings; then suffering under fallible kings, it sought out judges to meter the laws. And under the judges the suffering eventually avalanched into the nightmare of the Pharisees and Saducees -- lawyers and legislators, who would tithe even the dill and cumin (ie, the rule of law became so excessive, so powerful that tyranny was the result). And misery and strife abounded.

Law must be tempered with mercy. It must always vie on the side of life. It must always look after the weakest and those with no voice. It must always seek the good of the people while never losing sight of the individual and his or her right to equal justice. America is in its Judges phase now, and Terri's case, along with the thousands of other judicial insanities we've seen in the last few years, will increase and grow more powerful, and trample the people, trample the Constitution and lay waste liberty. And it will come from the left and it will come from the right -- this isn't a polarized issue. The extreme left and right both seek the same thing... power. Period. And that pursuit always results in the destruction of liberty.

Now that Terri is dead, it is time to step back and NEVER allow the US government to say to anyone that they "oppose torture".

Terri's killing proved conclusively otherwise.

Dear Governor Bush -

You had it in your power to step in by Executive Order and stop this barbaric, pre-emptive shock and awe, 'torturous' death of a handicapped woman by dehydration and withholding of food.

Men on death row in this country, found unequivocally guilty, of the most heinous of crimes, are afforded more humane treatment. Animals in your state-cattle, dogs, and beached porpoises are cared for with more compassion.

God help the elderly, handicapped, and less-than-perfect in our self- centered materialistic society which sees the less-than-perfect as a burden, not cost-effective, and worthy of death. God help the seniors and retirees in the state of Florida (elsewhere in the USA) who have witnessed their own fates; absent any media attentions.

I certainly would see to renaming your state, other than the Sunshine State, The Euthanasia State. It might be more appropriate. Thankfully, I have no intentions of ever visiting Florida, sun or no sun.
I hope others are just as fearful; given this depraved indifference to life with the whole of the world watching.

Thankfully, the Pope was not visiting (he with a feeding tube) or I have no doubt you'd have stood silently by and watched his demise by those flunkies you've given power over to in your state - the high priests in black robes. Since, by your own admission, their power supersedes your own, perhaps Florida might consider doing away with the Governorship and Legislative branches of government?
