The War Party Won
The Debate

I watched the debate with a friend, we opted not to go to the Air America viewing party down the block hosted by Janeane Garafalo.

I had just listened to the great interview of Judy Andreas on Fintan Dunne's program at www.breakfornews.com (its still available) so the contrast was overwhelming. Judy is against the war.

The two candidates, who so want to appear as if they have genuine differences, both support the war and occupation of Iraq.

And as that great liberal John Kerry told us, "I'm going to hunt down and kill the terrorists." None of this bringing the terrorists to justice crap, we're gonna lynch 'em.

And some of my friends are angry at me because I'm not going to vote for John Kerry against George Bush. As I've said before, George W. Bush is the worst president in my lifetime, but John Kerry scares me too. To me, the Bush Administration is a bunch of Spiro Agnews filling their pockets as fast as they can.
But Kerry is a different sort, he is more concerned with a higher pursuit, successful world domination. John Kerry will win the war on terror! even if he makes a few errors along the way, while he "hunts them down and kills them." Some people look at John Kerry and fear more Wacos.
How many people watch the debate as if it was pro wrestling? That's how I try to approach it now. Everyone from Kerry to Bush to the referees and commentators all work for 'Vince McMahon,' sort to speak.

When the debate commission was privatized by becoming a solely own subsidiary of a couple of major corporations, any pretense of a real debate ever happening again vanished. Be clear on one thing the debate isn't real.

Suck as many people as you can into this new reality show called the Debates, that's the agenda of the powers-that-be.

Both candidates appear to have won, because there was no real opposition. Both candidates were the candidates of the Pro-War party. The real loser in this debate was the American people. American people who oppose this immoral and illegal war in Iraq had no representation in that debate. That is almost as criminal as the war itself.

If they can convince millions of Americans to vote in this election for Bush or Kerry, or Nader for that matter, they will know that they still have the American people buffaloed.

I say if you are going to vote in a fixed election, anyway than vote for yourself. It is the only way that you cannot throw away your vote.

We each have to stand up and take responsibility for ourselves. I believe in individual responsibility. With that responsibility comes the task of representing yourself as best you can in this world. I defy anyone to tell me that either John Kerry or George W. Bush can do a better job at meeting your needs than you would do.
I don't know of any position on any subject that either Bush or Kerry has that is superior to mine. I'll tell the truth. I am against the war.

I call for the immediate withdrawal by American troops. When you invade a nation and then occupy it, you are the problem, not the solution. Bring our troops home now!
