- I'm here to gripe about something that absolutely makes
me sick

- When I hear two words said on television: 'comatose'
and 'vegetable.'

- Neither of these are correct when describing Terri, and
I want it stopped.

- The damage and injustice that continued use of these
wrong words does to Terri, floods all over me, thinking about my daughter,
and for that reason, I can imagine, if only in a small way, what Terri's
family must be feeling.

- Is there any way that you would be willing to get your
networking army to work on this, and pelt the media with the correct use
of words describing her condition, please?

- The continued use of these two words -- rather than brain
damaged, which she actually is -- makes it look bad on Terri. The media
is still cooperating with her faithless husband, which means that the public
is not getting the truth about Terri, and is therefore not as sympathetic
-- and outraged -- about her situation as they should be, if only they
knew the truth, that she is conscious and tries to communicate!

- I mean, after all, what COMATOSE person could receive
therapy, if they were really 'out of it.' Right?

- I hope you see my point about this might hinder her in
getting her moved and get her proper and REAL care, plus it just doesn't
do her justice. Using wrong words keeps Terri in the line of fire for the
Death Squad that still has 'guardianship' and decisionmaking authority.

- For Terri's sake and to thank her for her being such
a trooper and fighter to live, all these years, in spite of efforts by
the husband and press to paint her as being other than what she is, brain
damaged but trying to get better -- we need to honor Terri by telling the
truth when writing about and describing her.
