- The Hemlock Society has LIED to one of our correspondents
and told her this:
-
-
- "~~Thank you for taking the time to write. You are,
however mistaken. End-of-Life Choices has not taken a position in the Schiavo
case in the past 13 years, nor have we now. We're simply amplifying Governor
Bush's statement that all people should have advance directives and medical
durable powers of attorney so they won't find themselves or their families
in such a position. As a bright, engaged person, I am sure you and your
loved ones have advance directives to avoid such a circumstance.
-
- Respectfully,
-
- David Goldberg~~"

- It is absolutely no coincidence that the Hemlock Society,
<http://www.hemlock.org>www.hemlock.org has started a Florida statewide
campaign at this time, spending thousands of dollars to promote their 'culture
of death'. But such a culture espouses lying as a 'means to an end'. They
are looking to end our freedom, and cut short our lives, especially if
we are disabled and elderly.
-
- They are attempting to brainwash every newspaper reader
and every TV watcher in Florida and then the rest of the world, to believe
that Terri would be just fine if she had a living will. And that Terrie
has a 'right to die', as if she were terminally ill and not cognizant,
although severely handicapped. Never mind her right to therapy, never
mind her wish to live.
