- Here's tidbit that needs looked into. On Tuesday 12/02/03
the media was reporting that internet sales are way down for online businesses
this year. They stated; it's do to the fact that people are afraid of having
their identity, credit card, and or bank accounts ripped off if they buy
online. The Gov. is claiming that our economy is growing very well in other
markets.

- I also have an internet retail site. This year my sales
have dropped to 50% of what they were a year ago at this time. I also know
of other people who have retail websites, they are all telling me the same
thing that I say. Sales are way down this year compared to last year on
the internet. I also have friends who work at street front retail shops,
all of the retail shops are complaining about how piss poor sales are this
season compared to last year at this time. However the media is saying
that retail this year is way up for street front stores........way up where
I ask? I don't see this at all, in fact I see it to be just the opposite.
Sales suck this year!

- Now, on Wednesday, 12-3-3, the media was reporting just
the opposite of what they were saying the day before about internet sales.
On Wednesday 12/03/03 they stated that internet sales are up 42% this
year over last year. Now I know for a FACT this just is not true. My over
all sales this year on the net are down 50% not up 42%. Some one is so
full of crap, I mean what way is it? Sales reported way down one day then
the next day sales are reported way up for the internet, I'm confused!?

- I beleive they are lying to us, I believe that over all,
retail sales this year are in the dumper for most everyone. Their lying
to keep us spending our money to help keep our weak economy alive as long
as they can.

- PS, I have been retailing on the net since 1996, this
is the first year that my sales have drastically dropped. In the past years
sales generally grew at about 100% year to year. So someone is BSing someone
on this good economy crap!

- Note: after 9/11 my internet sales did drop off a bit,
2002 sales were about the same as 2001. Pryor to 9/11 my sales grew at
about 100% per year!?
