- WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The
Pentagon on Thursday said 105 U.S. troops had died in the war against Iraq,
including 93 in combat.

- Twelve have died in accidents or other "non-hostile"
incidents in the three-week-old war, the Defense Department said in a daily
accounting of war casualties.

- A total of 399 American troops have been wounded or otherwise
injured, 11 are missing and seven are listed as prisoners of war held by
Iraq.

- The latest casualty total included Air Force Special
Operations Staff. Sgt. Scott Sather, 29, of Clio, Michigan, who was killed
in action on Tuesday. He was assigned to the 24th Special Tactics Squadron
at Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina.

- Three others listed as recent deaths were Army Spec.
George Mitchell, 35, of Rawlings, Maryland; Army Cpl. Henry Brown, 22,
of Natchez, Mississippi, and Army Pvt. Kelley Prewitt, 24, of Alabama.
Mitchell and Brown died as a result of an Iraqi rocket attack south of
Baghdad on Monday and Prewitt was killed by Iraqi fire on Sunday, the Pentagon
said.
