- BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Half
a dozen new explosions hit Baghdad on Sunday about 5:30 p.m. as planes
flew overhead unchallenged by anti-aircraft fire, a Reuters correspondent
in the center of the Iraqi capital said.

- "There have just been six or seven blasts,"
said Khaled Yacoub Oweis. "It sounded as if they came from the west.
There were no sirens or anti-aircraft fire."

- U.S. and British forces have been bombing Baghdad since
Thursday as part of a war to overthrow President Saddam Hussein.
