I am asking for the support of the public to sign a petition and show congress that the public wants to know the truth about what the object was which fell near Kecksburg, PA in 1965.  You can add your signature online at: http://www.signpetition.com. You can also print off hard copies of the petition to circulate for signatures, and return to me at the address marked. Information about the 1965 occurrence is also on the website.

On March 3, 2003, Larry Landsman, Director, Special Projects, SCI FI Channel, and Leslie Kean, an independent journalist and Research Director of the Coalition for Freedom of Information(CFI) arrived in Greensburg. They had the opportunity to visit the Kecksburg area, talk with a number of first hand witnesses who were involved in the incident, and discuss my findings. They also announced their support for the statewide petition drive that I am launching to help put public pressure on the Pennsylvania congressional delegation to request an investigation of the Kecksburg incident by the U.S. General Accounting Office.

The CFI with the support of the SCI FI Channel, is spearheading a Freedom of Information Act effort to declassify government documents about the Kecksburg incident. This effort has the support of John Podesta, President Clinton's former Chief of Staff. For more information on
this initiative, which runs parallel to but independent of the petition drive see
http://www.freedomofinfo.org .

Late afternoon on December 9, 1965, a fiery object streaked across the sky creating much excitement as it passed over the Pittsburgh and Greensburg, Pennsylvania area. That object, whatever it was, fell in a wooded area on the outskirts of Kecksburg in Westmoreland County. I was sixteen at the time of the occurrence and I have been pursuing information concerning this unsolved incident since it occurred.

The official explanation of a meteor doesn't fit the eyewitness accounts of the object slowly descending towards the woods, first hand accounts from people who saw an unusual metallic acorn shaped object s emi-buried in the ground, and the quick response by the military. My search for answers regarding the Kecksburg incident is now intensifying with the support of the SCI FI Channel and the Coalition for Freedom of Information.

For individuals who don't have access to a computer, copies of the petition can be obtained by calling me at 724-838-7768, or write to me at P.O. Box 936, Greensburg, PA 15601. I would also like to hear from anyone with information concerning this event.
