- ROCKVILLE (Reuters) - A serial sniper has told
police that children in the Washington area are not safe from his relentless
killing spree "anywhere, at any time," police said on Tuesday.

- Montgomery County Police Chief Charles Moose told a news
conference that police had received a communication from the killer who
is suspected of murdering as many as 10 and wounding three since Oct. 2.

- Moose said the message had a postscript which stated,
"Your children are not safe, anywhere at any time."

- "We will be responding soon," Moose said.
