- BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (UPI) --
Indiana University officials on Wednesday asked law enforcement officials
to investigate whether an adult film was shot on campus.
-
- Chancellor Sharon Stephens Brehm said IU police were
asked to follow up an Oct. 3 report by a dorm resident manager. The report
said the resident manager observed several women who were not fully clothed
and also noted that cameras were present.
-
- The university said the individuals were students from
Los Angeles who were working on a film project.
-
- The film, "Campus Invasion," was made in various
locations on campus by adult filmmakers from Shane's World, a Web site
based in Van Nuys, Calif.
-
- Calli Cox, publicist and adult film actress for Shane
Enterprises told the Indiana Daily Student that she, along with a number
of he colleagues visited campus during the first weekend of October in
order to "party with students from the No. 1 party school."
-
- Brehm said she has asked the dean of students to look
into reports to determine if there were any code of conduct violations
by students.
-
- "The university is looking into various reports
that are surfacing and requested local law enforcement assistance,"
Brehm said in a statement. "If this incident occurred, it's obviously
inconsistent with the values of the university."
-
- She said the university was attempting to determine the
facts. "If there were violations of the student code or conduct or
if criminal or criminal laws were broken, we will pursue those violations,"
Brehm added.
