- Now, we have an absolutely turbulent picture, but, let
me start with the fantastic development, a real bombshell:
-
- The Italian parliament voted, with a majority, for a
new financial architecture. Basically, it's LaRouche's New Bretton Woods
proposal.
-
- All the party leaders, faction leaders were for it.
-
- Nevertheless, quite a fight erupted, and therefore, they
divided the resolution into three parts, where it's not only a resolution,
it's a full-fledged parliament -- it was a full debate.
-
- The first part in on the international crisis in Argentina,
which was voted 399 for, and 1 abstention; the second part is on what concrete
measures should be taken for Argentinas, 385; and the third part, which
basically had 219 for, 178 abstentions, and 9 against.
-
- But that is a majority nevertheless, and they call for
a new financial architecture, able to support the real economy, and avoid
speculative bubbles and financial crashes to develop in the future.
-
- So the entire text is a bombshell and we should go with
it. I mean, this is a whole parliament, one parliament of the G-7 countries,
which went with LaRouche's program, and one of the factions' spokesman,
Mr. Bianchi, by motivating the vote, said that, not by chance one speaks
about a New Bretton Woods, because the world financial system is in such
a clear disorder that some order is necessary. Let's not have the isolated
and prophetic Mr. LaRouche alone be the only person to speak for this.
LaRouche has been saying this for a long time. He forecast that it would
be the destiny of the bubble, so therefore, let's vote for it.
-
- So, LaRouche's name was publicly in the parliament and
it's gigantic. So we should be able to replicate this in every parliament
in the world, and that includes, obviously, the U.S. Congress, but, Russia,
China, India, Latin America -- I think this is the best thing which has
happened since a very long time.
-
- Now, this could not come at a more dramatic situation,
which, on the one side, has the Chickenhawks in a flight forward, or maybe,
in a flight backwards, as we will see; a continuous meltdown of unprecedented
proportions; and also, a war drive, which is accelerated, and actually,
the war is already happening.
-
- Now, when Rumsfeld said that the relationship between
the United States and Germany is poisoned, that is actually now indeed
the attitude, and there is massive pressure coming from the U.S. on Germany.
It's absolutely massive, so, what is going to happen is that, unless we
get the kind of changes in the U.S. administration, with Cheney out and
so forth, and/or get the agenda on the New Bretton Woods internationally,
this war is right now fully on. Germany will not send any troops, but,
they already said they will take the leadership of these troops in Afghanistan,
and between that and the deployment in the Balkans, there is absolutely
nothing else they can do. But rumors go around among informed circles that
next week, the latest, there will be a new UN resolution, which will be
ambiguous, and then the U.S. will twist it and say that this gives them
leeway.
-
- The lead article in Le Monde today has an article by
the leading French military expert who says the systematic bombing has
already started. It's a war of attrition as a preparation for the war to
begin mid-October. But the war, de facto, already started. So this war
will be extremely brutal; it will not be just tanks hidden in the sand
in the desert, but it will bomb cities, and there will be made every effort
to create the perception of victory, until Nov. 6. After the election,
the consequences all of this will become clear, but obviously, this thing
can get out of control long before because of the Israeli factor.
-
- Now, this is happening at a point where the financial
and economic collapse is so unbelievable, so dramatic, that is again fuels
the flight forward of the Chickenhawks to go with the war, but what motivates
them, or what causes them to freak out, is that, for the first time, the
U.S. population, in depth, is shaken up by the meltdown of the system.
