- As the Bush Administration, and leading lunatics in the
Anglo-American political establishment, were going into a frenzied push
toward immediate war against Iraq, U.S. statesman and leading Democratic
Presidential pre-candidate Lyndon LaRouche, addressed an international
webcast in Washington, D.C. on Sept. 11.
-
- Mr.LaRouche's message was tough: Given that there is
no one in the Administration, or world leadership, who has shown the willingness
to tell the truth, it is up to HIM to expose the fact that the drive for
war against Iraq has absolutely nothing to do with reality, but with the
insistence by a group of American Tories, utopians, on launching a perpetual
war against the Muslim world.
-
- Mr. LaRouche's message was heard by at least 200 gatherings
worldwide, in addition to an audience of about 120 in Washington, heavily
comprised of college-aged youth in the LaRouche youth movement. During
the discussion period, Mr. LaRouche's spokeswoman Debra Freeman issued
a call for young people to join that LaRouche youth contingent at a demonstration
at the United Nations on Thursday, Sept. 12.
-
- In the year since Sept. 11, Mr. LaRouche has become the
increasingly famous spokesman for the "other America," the America
of Benjamin Franklin and the Founding Fathers' commitment to a community-of-principle
relationship with the rest of the world. He is seen as the hope of turning
the U.S. away from war by many in the Arab world, and elsewhere, and has
personally helped create the open fight in the U.S. itself over the war.
With this webcast, the level of that fight was raised to a higher level.
-
- War and Economy After beginning with a sharp condemnation
of those who refuse to tell the truth that many of them know, especially
about the push toward war against Iraq, Mr. LaRouche defined the problems
facing the U.S. as two: war, and economy.
-
- On war, he said, the U.S. government is like "a
man with a shotgun, holding the nation and the world, hostage.... We have
a government that is determined, now, to go to war, for war's own sake!"
Reality has nothing to do with it.
-
- The world is opposed to the war, and so are many American
military personnel, retired and still active, who smell that what is being
instigated is a new "perpetual war," like Vietnam, in which there
is no exit strategy, no road to peace.
-
- Where does this strategy come from? For this, Mr. LaRouche
said, you have to go back to 1944, and the determination of an Anglo-American
utopian faction to ensure that Franklin Delano Roosevelt's anti-colonialist
vision of the post-World War II era was eradicated, wiped out. It was from
this commitment, that Harry Truman was made FDR's Vice President in 1944,
and then, before FDR's body was cold, totally REVERSED the international
policies FDR represented. The crucial action was the bombing of Nagasaki
and Hiroshima--like the proposed war against Iraq, an insane, unnecessary
act.
-
- Drive for World Government What that bombing initiated
was a drive for world government, as a process, Mr. LaRouche said. The
conspiracy was an open one, as H.G. Wells, the popularizer of the utopians,
said in his 1928 book, THE OPEN CONSPIRACY. To accomplish it, the Anglo-American
lunatics developed three tools: the idea of air power; the idea of nuclear
weapons; and the idea of special operations. This combination was intended
as the new kind of warfare, one which was geared to KILL and instigate
wars, but not to win the peace.
-
- After Eisenhower's Presidency, and Kennedy's assassination,
the process of the destruction of the United States' character as the republic
of Benjamin Franklin took off. We went from being a producer society, to
a consumer society. We increasingly took on the character of the Roman
Empire--looting the world, waging wars, sucking the blood of the planet.
-
- This insanity went directly against an actual war-winning
strategy, such as Roosevelt used successfully. Winning wars actually requires
LOGISTICS, which require an economic base. "If you have great economic
power and great logistical power, you can win wars in various ways....
You can win them because your sheer economic power attracts not merely
the envy, but the admiration of others, who say, as they said to us in
India, for example ... can the United States send us the technology to
build our own independent state?" You win wars by being powerful enough
to make a peace that will benefit your enemy, as well as yourself, Mr.
LaRouche explained.
-
- The Hand and the Glove This is not the policy the U.S.
is using now, Mr. LaRouche continued. The current policy can be described
as the hand and the glove. The Utopian hand has put on the Israeli (Sharonite)
glove, in order to detonate a Middle East War which will destroy the entire
Middle East, including the Saudi oil fields, and spread chaos across the
globe.
-
- Mr. LaRouche then reviewed the material in the "Pollard"
campaign leaflet (<http://larouchein2004.net/pages/volunteerforlarpr.htm>http://larouchein2004.net/pages/volunteerforlarpr.htm
) but with a devastating twist. Everybody in high places in Washington
heard then-Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu endorse the current policy
being spouted by the Utopian faction in the Bush Administration in 1996;
they know it's the same policy being pushed, using the Sept. 11 shock,
and,yet, they'll say nothing.
-
- While the world is against the war, Mr. LaRouche said,
it appears that a kind of compromise is in place, being pushed by Tony
Blair, who has apparently convinced President Bush to go to the United
Nations. The first option is that the UN rejects the deal offered by Mr.
Bush--and the U.S. goes ahead unilaterally against Iraq. The second, is
that the UN and President Bush come to an agreement, but Saddam Hussein
says no. But if Saddam says yes, there is a third possible road to war:
Prime Minister Sharon simply launches the war he needs, either with his
nuclear arsenal, or without.
-
- The Solution The problem could be solved, Mr. LaRouche
said, if he were in the White House. And the U.S. role is crucial. "I
don't think the world could solve its problems without a positive role
from the United States." But, until Mr. LaRouche can get into the
White House, he has taken it upon himself to protect the Presidency and
President Bush himself, "but somehow induce the changes in policies
that I would make, at least enough of those to get us through the next
two years, when I'll take over."
-
- The genius of the United States can be restored, if the
American people are prepared to follow Mr. LaRouche's leadership, he said,
and concluded with the following appeal:
-
- "I know how to do it, and it seems that nobody else
does; or at least is not in the position to express that.
-
- "I know how to bring Europe and Asia together. I'm
bringing this together. I'm trying to bring the Islamic world together
with us. I'm trying to bring China together with us, Korea together with
us, Japan together with us, Russia together with us, India, Pakistan, the
Middle East.
-
- "Our destiny as the United States is not to be an
empire, but is to be as John Quincy Adams proposed for the Americas, we
must be, and our interests must be, a community of, respectively, perfectly
sovereign nation-states, united in common effort and common principle--a
community of principle. No empires! No subjugation, but cooperation. I
know how to do that."
-
- On Sept. 11 It was not until the final question, that
Mr. LaRouche directly responded to questions on Sept. 11 per se. After
a long discussion of the fight by the Anglo-American oligarchists to destroy
the United States, and create their empire, he said the following:
-
- "So, what happened on 9/11 is obvious to me. I didn't
know 9/11 was happening. Don't kid yourself! Nobody knew it was going to
happen. No one had an intelligence warning, it was going to happen that
way, except the people who were on the inside. You do not run a coup of
that type against a major government, by sharing the information among
your accomplices. You don't say, `What you're going to do on this day,
is, help bomb the Pentagon. Bomb the Twin Towers in New York, with planes.'
You're not going to tell them that!
-
- "You're going to tell them: `This is what you're
going to do.' And they do [it]. They don't know what they're doing. A very
tiny group of people, at most, would know exactly what was coming down.
Other people might have a smell of something, but they wouldn't know what
it was, until after it happened. Nobody knew, except that small group of
people, INSIDE THE UNITED STATES, and possibly their friends in the Israeli
intelligence services.
-
- "Remember this Mohammad Atta. Who was he an agent
for? How about a Western intelligence agency? How many al-Qaeda agents
are Western intelligence agents, assets? That's the way things work.
-
- "So, what happened is, an entity that had the power,
and the plans, and the interest, used its `glove'--the suckers, the throwaways,
the discardables--to do something to cause the United States to be willing
to embark on a course of action, which would lead to a war with all Islam,
and the destruction of civilization. That's what happened.
-
- "Many people can recognize this. Many people in
this country will agree with facts, going fact by fact. They will balk
at one thing! When I say publicly, what they know. They won't tell you
the truth.
-
- "So, it's back to a question of leadership. I have
to take the risk of telling the truth. I wouldn't do it any other way."
