- Hi, I just wanted to relay to you a very strange occurance
in the north Detroit area.
-
- I live in Royal Oak, MI. and have been amazed at the
total disappence of the American black crow. Our neighborhood has been
completely over-populated by these birds in the last four to five years.
I know some have succomb to the west Nile virus but there are simply none
to be found anywhere. Also missing are other species such as the blue jay
and sparrows.
-
- Attached is a photo of a dead robien found in the area.

- Hi, I would like to respond to Mike Elliott's article
of the bird trouble in Detroit.
-
- I live near Grand Rapids, Michigan and I too have noticed
the Crows have disappeared. They just announced last week that we have
the West Nile here and claim that it only affects Crows and Blue Jays.
-
- For many months (since spring), we have been finding
dead Robins all of the time. Each time I mow the yard I find at least
two, they are always on their back and there is no injury to speak of.
My son has seen them along a major road, that he rides his bike on, dead
by the side or in the grasses in the same position with no injuries. I
have written several groups and they usually suggest chemtrails...but why
would it only effect robins and not those pesky starlings? Something strange
is going on....
