- Dear Jeff:
-
- THIS IS VERY FRIGHTENING! I believe Bush is making Adolph
Hitler look more like George Washington than a tyrannical dictator by his
own actions.
-
- Hitler didn't hesitate to use the name of God in his
quest for power, now I believe Bush is going to enslave us all in the name
of Jesus.
-
- Daniel 8:24 "And his power shall be mighty, but
not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper,
and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people."
-
- The net of police/military control in America appears
to be on the advanced fast track, or it would seem by the way the forces
of control are being put in place with more art form than a major choreographed
Hollywood production.
-
- I had to ask myself; "How could an intelligent society
of people, a people who have already witnessed these very same events and
modus operandi in other parts of the world, accept so willingly, and without
question, the constraints being placed on us by our "leaders"
and the allowing of the usurpation of our very freedoms by which we live?"
I recalled something from my childhood that for some reason stuck vividly
in my memory.
-
- What was the answer, what power could sway two-hundred
fifty plus million people? The answer is very simple. The answer is tried
and true and NEVER fails. The answer is FEAR!
-
- When I was a kid, the big event of the day (besides playing
cops and robbers) was going to the movies on Saturday. Televisions were
very scarce then and news was obtained by news papers, magazines, current
events in school (yes, they actually taught), or "watching the radio."
Yes, we actually sat and watched the radio. In the movies there was always
a "News Reel" providing capsulated updates of world events. You
wouldn't think a ten year old, or twelve year old child would pay much
attention to world events, but children see, and hear, and understand,
much more that we give them credit for. For example, my children were raised
on the Viet Nam war, sitting in front of the TV watching foreign children
and families shot and burned to death and then turning to me and asking
"why Dad" why are we killing those people? But, I digress. Back
to the fear element.
-
- Watching those News Reels I was always impressed with
how people in other parts of the world lived. I knew nothing of politics
of course, but I did understand sadness and grief. When the people of Moscow
were shown in Red Square coming and going about their daily affairs and
business during some type of news coverage there, I couldn't help but notice
that no one, I mean not one person in the camera's view ever smiled. No
one stopped and chatted on the streets as we do in America. There were
no children playing and laughing in those news reels, only drudgery and
silence. There was always a look of fear and suspicion on their faces.
I thought, what a dreadful way to live! I thought at times it might be
the cold inclimate weather, as it always seemed to be winter time there
in Moscow, but it wasn't the weather.
-
- When a news correspondent would walk up to a citizen
to interview them, they (the citizen) would look around cautiously as if
being watched and observed, you could see the fear and distrust in their
eyes. There were always uniformed soldiers standing around, observing,
and no telling how many under cover spies. Even as a young child I thought
how lucky I am, this could never happen in America. WRONG! I saw the same
type of scared look when I saw people from the Republic of China being
filmed, that look is unmistakable.
-
- I see events transpiring in America today which will
change American life forever, all due to these so called Terrorist Acts
Bills and laws now being put in place. I recently read where a poll was
taken which indicates that as many as 75% of American's are willing to
sacrifice liberty and rights for safety. My God! How pathetic. I am only
glad that these same American's were not around to be depended upon to
win our liberties some 200 years ago, we would all still be speaking the
accepted English language and drinking cups of tea while being subservant
to some King George. Hmmm, King George? Isn't that a little ironic?
-
- Yes, the greatest weaknesses in the world are ignorance
and apathy, while the strongest weapon, stronger than any thermonuclear
warhead, is FEAR.
-
- The article is but another bomb in the arsenal of tactics
for total tyrannical government with fascist leaders, but, what do I know?
Voices of reason have been drowned out by propaganda and fear throughout
history, this will be no exception.
-
- America, the home of the brave and the free......at least
for a short while longer, so enjoy it while you can, the puzzle is almost
complete now.
