- Reported on the Israeli radio news; a delegtion of forty
Israeli doctors, organised by the Tel-Aviv-based Physicians for Human Rights,
was stopped at the IDF roadblock near Hawara, in the Nablus Region, and
forbidden to proceed to the village of Beit Furik. There, they had intended
to treat patients who could not get to the hospital in Nablus becuse of
the tight closure imposed on that city. But due to the same closure, the
army said, "humanitarian delegations are only allowed to go into the
Nablus Area only by prior appointment"; for lack of that, the doctors
were turned back. info@gush-shalom.org
