Mario Lanza Society Of NY 5th Anniversary Luncheon 11-12-4     The Mario Lanza Society of New York will have its annual luncheon at Patsy,s Restaurant located at 236 West 56th Street in New York City on December 4th at 1:00 P.M. Club president Bill Ronayne will be on hand to welcome all fans of the great tenor as well as special invited guest the noted tenor Giuseppe Taormina in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the club,s formation. Mr. Taormina, who was the first-ever Cavaliere di Collana in the United States, will perform.   The event will feature a three-course lunch with a cash bar. The musical program will also consist of rare archival recordings of Mario Lanza as well as some carols in time for the holidays. Reservations are required and seating is limited. Admission is $50.00 for club members and $60.00 for nonmembers. Honorary members include Lanza's Aunt Julia, Kathryn Grayson, Elaine Malbin, Damon Lanza, Bob Dolfi, Clyde Smith and Steven Cutler. Membership in the society costs $20.00 a year in the U.S.A. and $25.00 a year for those outside of the U.S.A. Members receive a four-issue subscription to The Legacy of Mario Lanza newsletter and an invitation to all club events.
