Dear Doctor Thomas: Why have you not sent me an acknowledgement for the petition to ban aspartame? Here AGAIN is the final open petition to ban aspartame that I sent by certified mail. http://www.mpwhi.com/final_ petition_to_ban_aspartame.pdf It was accepted by Lillian Shepherd in your office. The one sent on 8/30/2018 certified was signed "Consumer Safety," This time its copied to many organizations who are concerned about the law being carried out, a few in the CC. Dr. Gottlieb, you're the FDA Commissioner and I know you have a background in Big Pharma. So I decided to write you about the aspartame situation. I figured if you cared about the public health you would answer and if your loyalty is still to Big Pharma I won't hear a peep. I haven't heard from you since I wrote months ago. Someone was telling me about a woman he thought drank Diet Coke all day. I told him, "please get her off its causing so much leukemia". He said, "She already has leukemia." Now she is dead like others dying the world over. FDA scientists already admitted in 2009 they were broken and whistleblowers feared reprisals for speaking out. Your agent called me then to tell me about what writing to Obama meant, and that they had to complete petitions back to 2007. I told him mine was back from 2002 and he said "it's not going to happen". When I said, "I lecture all over the world and people are sick and dying everywhere from aspartame." His answer "So what, we have to depopulate". So this is what the FDA has come to, and you Dr. Gottlieb can't even answer a letter. Maybe that's because there are three things that all pharmaceutical companies know - that aspartame is poison, Tamoxifen simply spreads the cancer, and chemotherapy doesn't work except to poison the body and spread the cancer. Dr. Thomas, you continuously ignore this petition, just as FDA has ignored independent scientifically peer reviewed research on aspartame. You know perfectly well aspartame has been on the market for three decades illegally. It was FDA's Dr. Adrian Gross who on 8/1/85 told the Senate aspartame was illegally on the market because without a shadow of a doubt it caused brain tumors and brain cancer, and violates the Delaney Amendment, When asked how you can keep this poison on the market when FDA itself said it was illegal, I get this "it's been addressed". Dr. Gross also said FDA should not have been able to give an ADI because it causes cancer. I'm also waiting to hear how you address this statement, FDA is quick to say they will take another look if they see science that shows the problems. For over three decades independent studies have proven everything from cancer, obesity and diabetes to metabolic disease, myocardial infarctions, strokes and dementia. Here is a debate I had with Dr. Fink who headed a brain tumor list at MIT some years ago. I had to simply make a list of the emails because he didn't want anything on aspartame posted. Remember Dr. Richard Wurtman is at MIT and was a tiger in Congress against aspartame. Then he stopped speaking out. He was threatened by the VP of G. D. Searle that if he did studies on aspartame and seizures his research funds would be rejected. They were. Now they are receiving funds and Dr. Wurtman whose affidavit said aspartame is a product that causes you to crave carbohydrates so you gain weight, no longer speaks out. Since aspartame caused brain tumors in original studies you would think anyone who had interest in the health of the public would want victims to know so they wouldn't continue to grow the tumors by using more aspartame which may have caused the brain tumor in the first place. After I sent this to Dr. Fink he was no longer on the brain tumor list. This shows you the very studies FDA wanted to use in the indictment of the manufacturer, G. D. Searle, were actually used to approve the poison. Both U.S. Prosecutors went to work for the defense team showing the power of industry. Add this to the petition to ban. I would like to see FDA explain the points brought out by Dr. Gross, the very FDA scientist who told the Senate aspartame is on the market illegally because of the Delaney Amendment which forbids putting anything in food that you know causes cancer. How can the FDA ignore study after study after study? Jerome Bressler told me years ago that aspartame caused all types of cancer. He was furious FDA sealed the teratology studies from his report that showed spina bifida, neural tube defects and cleft palate for starters, without even the decency of a pregnancy alert. Even Jerome Bressler made the point to me that he has had to live with the knowledge aspartame causes cancer and birth defects and his own FDA denies it to the public knowing they are lying. Surely there is a law against sealing studies from the public that show the product to be deadly. The innocent victims give birth to babies with birth defects or die of cancer in the meantime. Even Searle admitted aspartame is a drug and not an additive: The FD&C Act defines drugs, in part, by their intended use, as "articles intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease" and "articles (other than food) intended to affect the structure or any function of the body of man or other animals" [FD&C Act, sec. 201(g)(1)]. Dr. Gross asked for a criminal indictment because of fraud. 2. An FDA employee, a Dr. Thomas, whose name is in the FDA records regarding the horrible teratology studies won't even talk to anyone about them. His wife told me "He will talk to no one about those bad teratology studies." Now if they were safe instead of proving such things as neural tube defects he would have no reason not to talk about them. There is no place to hide. 3. Because of the fraud a task force was set up that exposed G. D. Searle and their aspartame studies to such a degree that they filed suit to get it off the record so the public would never know. We have them! 4. The Board of Inquiry of the FDA revoked the petition for approval based on the fact it couldn't be proven safe and caused brain tumors. FDA Commissioner Dr. Jeri Goyan was fired the day President Reagan took office at 3:00 AM according to his wife. They wanted to stop him from signing the revoked petition into law. Goyan's wife said he would never allow it on the market. 5. President Reagan wrote an executive order which forbid Goyan from signing the revoked petition into law, or from allowing him to do anything pertaining to aspartame until they could get a new FDA Commissioner in about 30 days. Dr. Goyan's wife mentions the executive order but when I asked for a copy from FDA I was told they are all a matter of record. It's been expunged! What a coverup! 6. New Commissioner, Dr. Arthur Hull Hayes, was a friend of Don Rumsfeld from the defense department., The revoked petition was a done deal so Hayes set up a review. Then a revote again showed it could not be approved. Hayes added someone to the team to gain a tie that he could break to get aspartame on the market. That's how it was done. It was a game of Russian Roulette with assistance of President Reagan and the people lost. President Reagan lost as well as aspartame destroyed his memory. When asked by the Atlanta Journal Constitution if he still used aspartame he replied there were things we know now that we didn't know then. History shows three decades of shattered lives from the symptoms and diseases triggered or precipitated by aspartame as outlined in the medical text, "Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic" by the late world expert, H. J. Roberts, M.D. In "While Science Sleeps: A Sweetener Kills" by Dr. Woodrow Monte the methanol is exposed. Converted to formaldehyde its released in the cells with the Trocho Study by Dr. M. Alemany explaining aspartame embalms living tissue and damages DNA. Instead of immediately banning aspartame FDA ignores the study. 7. Before Jimmy Carter left office he wrote an executive order that no product could be exported to another country if it was dangerous without them specifying the dangers. Lane Shore, Mission Possible Chicago, found this and it showed as soon as President Reagan took office he repealed the executive order. Was President Carter trying to spare other countries from getting this poison? 8. Once on the market people became sickened, some had seizures, some went blind, in others it triggered everything from MS to lupus. Senator Howard Metzenbaum immediately asked for congressional hearings and wrote a bill that would have NIH do independent studies on what they were seeing in the population like what it does to the fetus, drug interaction, behavioral problems, especially in children, seizures and such. It took Senator Orrin Hatch until 1985 to finally allow hearings. Some were paid like Hatch by Monsanto who bought G. D. Searle in 1985. The bill never got out of committee. What kind of politicians would not sign a bill to find out what was maiming and killing the public using aspartame? Even a pilot testified he had an aspartame blackout and only came to before hitting the water. Today we have Mission Possible Aviation to alert the pilots not to use this excitoneurotoxin, and get information to air traffic controls. Six aspartame users we know of have died on American. Cliff Evans crashed his plane into a tree and lived to tell about it. He's getting a copy of this to make copies for the pilots along with the pilot alert written by Dr. Russell Blaylock. An international flight attendant gives the pilot alert to air traffic controls to keep the planes in the air. As Dr. H. J. Roberts said to me one day, "the man in air traffic control was drinking a Diet Coke and forgot where he was and what his name was". 9. Studies by industry, of course, showed safety. How can both independent and industry controlled studies show two different results. Since G. D. Searle was never able to show aspartame safe how could they do it now. To ask the question is to answer it. ILSI, the International Life Sciences Institute was set up and became a research funding group. Say aspartame is safe and you will get funding. Monsanto even funded Dr. Diana Dow Edwards to do a study on birth defects. When it didn't show safety Monsanto stopped funding. 10/ Dr. Russell Blaylock wrote a detox program for those who used aspartame called" What To Do If You Have Used Aspartame". A Florida TV journalist came to Atlanta and filmed the sign, "Aspartame Detox Center" and interviewed Dr. Paula Rhodes. As expected people seeing the sign and using aspartame came in to find out more information, and more people realized they were victims. Dr. Ken Stoller has the San Francisco Aspartame Detox Center and Dr. Sandra Cabot has one in Australia. Other physicians called to be added such as Dr. Julian Whitaker in California and Dr. Joseph Mercola in Chicago. An aspartame homeopathic product was created to try and pull out the poison. Victims found out they were chemically hypersensitive, and had to have epi-pens in case they got it without knowing it and go into anaphylactic shock. Big Pharma took advantage as epi-pens became scarce and hugely expensive. In the documentary, "Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World" Cheryl Kemptner tells her story of how she listed aspartame with her hospital as an allergen and told them she could react. A dietitian gives Cheryl some Crystal Lite with aspartame and she becomes a Code Blue and they had to resuscitate her to save her life. The FDA with full knowledge of chemical hypersensitization along with the records and studies on aspartame that convinced them to ask for criminal indictment of the manufacturer in the first place allows 17 dairy products to be used without labeling. Dr. Madeline Price who worked with Dr. Olney for 38 years as a biochemist told me the FDA promised him that regardless of how aspartame got approved they would see to it that no child ever used aspartame. What did the FDA really do? First they made a deal with the manufacturer to seal the teratology (birth defect) studies so the public wouldn't know aspartame causes birth defects. Now that the studies were made public and there was nothing the FDA could do about it, they released others to Dr. Woodrow Monte. This shows the FDA has known aspartame causes birth defects from the beginning and have lied to the public for 30 years. Since aspartame was marketed the autism epidemic has gone up 2500%. MIT says by 2025 one out of two babies will be born autistic. The FDA turns a blind eye and a deaf ear. Betraying the public's trust goes down in history. Today aspartame is in thousands of drugs, and especially pediatric drugs. It even poisoned me. 12. Also they acknowledge their prime concern was with the production of DKP, diketopiperazine, a brain tumor agent that the molecule breaks down into. They said "With the spoon-for-spoon we have no way of estimating maximum likely abuse and hence need to utilize data based on almost complete conversion to DKP. If we include this use in the original FAP, we stand a good chance of ending up with nothing in the short run and nothing in the long run whereas the other approach would give us something in the short-run and, quite likely as much as we would ever get in the long run." There you are, confession in full, but what did the public get, the people FDA is suppose to protect? First FDA admits it breaks down in liquid so they would only approve it in dry foods. Do you people not know if you put Equal in hot coffee you just heated the aspartame? It was bad enough to ignore that but to approve it in baking in 1993 was a despicable heinous act. When Dr. David Kessler was FDA Commissioner he says if aspartame complaints go down he will make aspartame a sweetener that can be used for everything, even though he knows the manufacturers have confessed it can't be used for everything. 14, Aspartame was banned in Romania because of the cancer. UK Parliamentarian Roger Williams tried to have aspartame banned there. The Philippines tried for years. There were efforts in New Zealand. There were efforts to ban aspartame in New Mexico and Hawaii. Indonesia tried at one point. Over and over again here in the US there have been efforts. Twelve toxicologists asked for a ban on the basis aspartame causes cancer. Dr. Wodrow Monte took it all the way to the Supreme Court who wouldn't hear it. This is the second ban I've petitioned. Dr. Ken Stoller petitioned for a ban. How do you make existing aspartame complaints go down? It's obvious if you don't want anymore complaints just stop taking them. This is what FDA did because we got the complaints and the victims told us FDA refused them. There is only one way to make existing complaints go down and that is to throw them away which is what FDA did. Dr. H. J. Roberts was outraged when he called and said a letter from FDA said they had to change the billing information which required throwing away hundreds of aspartame complaints. So aspartame, a deadly chemical poison, was approved for everything. Dr. Monte in his book calls aspartame a killing machine. Dr. Thomas would you like to identify who the killers are? 13. No matter which way you turn or what subject having to do with aspartame you select, the FDA is right there protecting industry. In 2005 the Ramazzini Studies were published on aspartame confirming the confession of the FDA that aspartame causes cancer, in fact, a multipotential carcinogen. I had known that anyway because of all the cancers Jerome Bressler had mentioned and have studies. He pointed out these were the ones that weren't hid. EFSA, the European Food Safety Authority, tried to play it down. Then Dr. Herman Koeter who headed the committee resigned and said they were pressured by industry to hijack science. The study was so prestigious from this renowned independent cancer institute the only objection they could think of was the rats had respiratory disease. After many were laughing from such a ridiculous excuse, Dr. Morando Soffritti told EFSA that of course the rats had respiratory disease. This was a lifetime study and respiratory disease is the dying process. The rats were now dying. Dr. Soffritti's entire rebuttal was brilliant but EFSA wouldn't answer it because they couldn't, and neither could FDA/ This study was so prestigious that Dr. Soffritti received an award that was only given twice in history. This happened at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York on the day Dr. Soffritti released his second study on aspartame and cancer. In order to confuse the public more FDA picked that day to tell the public they were not accepting the Ramazzini Study. By doing this on the same day as the release of the second study would mislead the public to thinking FDA was talking about the new released study. I was there with Mrs. Barbara Metzler, Mission Possible New Jersey and mother of a daughter who used aspartame and almost went blind, changed her personality and caused seizures. Now there is a third study showing aspartame causes cancer. In fact, even Harvard released their cancer study stating it was the longest and strongest showing aspartame to cause cancer, Let's face it FDA has not only not protected the public but also deceived. Why not change the name to the Federal Deception Authority so at least the public would know they had to do their own research instead of depending on an agency who is party to the deaths from aspartame by lying about the true nature of the poison, and refusing to ban it even though it is illegally on the market. As aspartame has been proven to cause the blood cancers like leukemia and multiple myeloma FDA not only remains silent but allows the approval of leukemia drugs with aspartame. When are you going to acknowledge this petition to ban aspartame? Does Jehovah God need to send you a burning bush? Babies are being given this poison, and its in pediatric drugs to interact. Does FDA have no shame they are allowing as Dr. James Bowen wrote 30 years ago the mass poisoning of the public? Dr. Thomas send me an acknowledgement of this petition to ban aspartame. There are now less than 180 days to answer. Dr. Gottlieb answer my letters on aspartame and without propaganda. We've answered the propaganda for years. Has there even been one single day since aspartame was released to the public that it hasn't been controversial and exposed. My neurologist told me the reason he knew aspartame was poison is that from the beginning there were aspartame wars. There are three scientists involved and one of them went all over this country telling people it was poison and not to use it. I've even spoken with some who spoke with the scientist and said he was on TV saying it was poison. I've tried for years to get a copy of the show. The last call I got was from a dental hygienist who saw his daughter and said he was dead now, but that his last words were "warn people aspartame is poison". Even the "US Right To Know" people sent you these studies and your excuse was you need more time. Isn't 30 years enough with the disabled and sick and the innocent victims at large being poisoned. When Dr. James Bowen wrote the FDA and said it was mass poisoning they sent out an agent who he said was upset with him writing the letter and he had to insist she accept 29 more cases. To think that FDA admitted to it being a carcinogen three decades ago and the FDA has ignored it ever since. Aspartame was not even first discovered at Searle but another company that Searle bought. A man who was in the room at the time said aspartame was not found to be sweet because a scientist got it on his finger. It was against the rules to smoke in the lab and it got on a cigarette. The aspartame industry would lie if the truth would do. When it comes down to it, it is from Germany and was in the records of the German police, ex-stasi agents. Even when Parliamentarian Roger Williams tried to ban aspartame in the UK he admitted aspartame was a biochemical warfare agent.
