'Black Manta' USAF
Triangle Photo?
8-6-99

Does the Black Manta exist? We have the new evidence!

Is this a UFO or a secret triangular spyplane?

Famed aviation author, photographer and historian Jim Goodall recently stumbled on this image of a triangular shaped craft reportedly taken by the Belgian Air Force. It shows a boomerang planform aircraft lit by two anti-collision lights.

For years Belgians have been reporting seeing traingular shaped UFOs. Some speculate they are a joint USAF/RAF military recon platform. This photos and other images will soon be published on Intercepts Online for the first time.

Look for an in-depth investigative report on the existance of the Black Manta in next month's Intercepts Online.

Ha, ha!

This is a commercial piece of artwork sold to the Birdsalls some time ago which has simply been ripped off. (in modified form) I actually have one reproduction of it on my desk in front of me; page 69 Nov/Dec 98 UFO Mag. The Birdsalls have used it a number of times, but I don't have a credit for the artist to hand.

I must say, that knowing Steve Douglass, I find it hard to belive he would have just passed this fake on without making any observations.

The preceeding was sent out as a "tease" to interest people in subscribing to the new Intercepts Online newsletter. It's amazing how far this stuff gets circulated.

If it is a bogus photo.. well, count me taken in. Reasons?

#1.The source ofthe photo was good .. or should I say Goodall.. a friend and solid source of black project information. I know Jim ( as opposed to Bill Rose) and he would never knowingly pass on false information.

#2. It looks remarkably like an aircraft I saw flying near Holloman AFB in 1993 complete with rounded wing-tips and boomerang trailing edge. When I first saw it I said.. "ohh cool.. I've seen this aircraft!"

Let me state for the record that I am NOT a UFO buff .. nor ever have been.. therefore I do not read UFO magazines. If the image was "produced" for a UFO magazine.. then it is news to me. One of the reasons? I take no stock in what UFO magazines claim. In many cases they have beeen known to manufacture proof.

Many will recall the Kc-135 and Aurora "photograph" that caused quite a stir a few years back. I took great pride in ripping that one to shreads.

I would like to see this image! Who are the Birdsalls? I do not run in UFO sircles so pardon my ignorance. ____

The picture of the 'black manta' looks identical to the conceptional drawing of the Avenger II, the plane that was 'never built' i'm sure you've seen the pictures of conceptional pictures of the Avenger II, what do you think? It's looks like a 100% match

Response:

Actually...the A-12 had a straight trailing edge.. not the slightly inverted V that the aircraft in the image has. I always thought the straight trailing edge of the Avenger II had to be relatively non-stealthy and a good reflector from behind. When I saw an aircraft with the boomerang shape flying in New Mexico, I thought to myself. "They finally got the edges right."

In closing.. if the photo is a fake.. it sure fooled me. Just goes to show me that for now on I will only beleive the images I've taken with my own cameras. There are too many fakes out there .. so buyer beware... Don't trust anyone .. even so -called experts like myself. We can be fooled. Too bad that others continue to manufacture fake photos only further muddying the waters and thus hiding the truth about what's up there.

For some .. it's their jobs..working for agencies with the letters .. pasing on disinformation to keep dogged investigators off the right track.

Others.. fake the "proof" because they are just plain liars..seeking attention.

Still others grow so tired of waiting for the beliefs to be confirmed so they manufacture their own "truth."

Nuff said.
