The Soviet Union Erased People From History

If you happened to have been a high level Soviet official several lifetimes ago, you may or may not still be in their history books. It was common practice to erase people who had fallen out of favor with the Politburo. In addition to being taken out and publicly shot, the censors would erase your image and edit your name out of text. Peaking during the Stalin era, untold thousands of people disappeared from history in his purges. Out of millions killed by his regime, only a few thousand made it into their history books to later be erased. This would have been the fate of Steve Bannon and Gen. Flynn had they been Soviet citizens.

Some of these edited pictures were skillfully done, amazing, considering they didn't have photoshop at their disposal. In a particular Stalin pic, the original has 3 other men standing near him. In a series of 3 edits, one by one, those people were erased as they fell out of favor, leaving "Uncle Joe" standing there all by himself! Think about that for a second.

As a Cold War vet, I became interested in learning more about the enemy we were opposing around the world. I read what I could find, even listened to Radio Moscow on shortwave. The old Soviet Union was indeed an "Evil Empire." Actually, more evil than most Americans knew at the time. The end of the Cold War could have unfolded way worse than it did. Somehow, by the Grace of God, Reagan and Gorbachev avoided what could have turned into a worldwide disaster.

Seems to me that our beloved land of the free and home of the brave is slowly becoming more like the old Soviet Union in so many ways. A great example is spying on citizens. In the Soviet Union, about 1 of 10 citizens were being paid to open the mail and listen in on the phone calls of the other 90%. People had to be very careful what they wrote or said. Now, we do basically the same thing using supercomputers.

How long will it be before American historical figures, whose statues are now being destroyed, get erased from our history books? Is blasting Mt. Rushmore on their list? See pic on rense.com. How can we allow this Soviet Communist (Kim does it too) thing to happen in America?

Your local city/county representative should know that you and many other voters oppose the coming erasure of our history. Take Jeff's wise advice, please don't get involved in the Soros funded false flag street battles. Just spread the facts among friends, relatives and neighbors, hoping that some of them will spread it to their people, on and on.

Admittedly, our history books aren't perfect (a whole 'nuther subject), but can you imagine General Lee and the whole Civil War (620,000 dead Americans) not even being mentioned in US History classes? Laughing now? This really could happen, photoshop and other such software makes it all too easy. Wouldn't Uncle Joe have loved photoshop?

Our history is populated with a full spectrum of good to bad people, all the way back to ancient times.  ISIS continually makes a sickening point of destroying the history of areas of the middle east as they conquered those lands. Once ISIS becomes history, the civilized countries of this world should come together to restore the priceless treasures those barbarians have destroyed.

Regardless of belief, no one should have the power to pull down a statue, blow up a monument or temple, cut someone out of a picture or otherwise edit our history. I wonder how many fellow Cold War and Iraq/Afghan Vets are now thinking about why we put our lives on the line to defeat the Soviet system, ISIS and the Taliban?
