The Sordid NYT Anti-Russia Bashing Machine

Do disreputable pubic and/or private sources pay off the misnamed newspaper of record to bash Russia and Vladimir Putin irresponsibly?

Is it bribed to lie, to suppress hard truths? It owes its readers an explanation, none forthcoming so far, none expected.

Relentlessly it reports malicious misinformation and Big Lies, truth and full disclosure banned, mocking legitimate journalism, absent on issues mattering most, notably geopolitical ones.

Its latest editorial entirely ignores Obama’s war like always, his support for ISIS and other cutthroat killer terrorists - perpetuating the myth about Washington wanting peace, aiming for it diplomatically.

Its multiple endless wars bely claims otherwise. Times editors disgracefully blamed Russia’s vital war on terror (“unrelenting attacks,” they said) for Syria’s “suffering and destruction,” typical Times propaganda it’s infamous for.

It quoted Kerry’s misleading statement about cessation of hostilities dependent on “whether all parties honor (their) commitments,” failing to explain Washington’s rage for endless war, continuing support for ISIS and other terrorists waging it, making peace impossible.

The sordid Times propaganda machine irresponsibly blasted the region’s most overwhelmingly popular leader, describing what it called Assad’s “brutality and dictatorial ambitions,” a malicious Big Lie.

Attacking Putin came next, calling the world’s preeminent peacemaker “duplicitous,” falsely accusing him of being “fully engaged in the destruction of Syria and its people…kill(ing) nearly 1,400 civilians, including 527 women and children, all in the service of perpetuating Mr. Assad’s brutal and unyielding dictatorship.”

Big Lies don’t get more malicious than these. When it comes to backing up claims with evidence, The Times is like all other propagandists - supplying none. None exists to supply.

More Big Lies followed, falsely saying Russia “attacked residential areas with cluster munitions and (dumb) bombs, (and) at least one hospital and a mosque…(Unnamed) others say schools, markets and other sites with no obvious military use…”

He “pretend(s) (to be attacking) the Islamic State and other terrorists…(instead) attack(s) anti-Assad rebels - with an eye to consolidating Mr. Assad power (and) assert a leading role in the Middle East.”

No so-called “rebels” exist. All anti-Assad fighters are US-supported terrorists, ISIS and other hardened killers.

No responsible editors would publish contemptible rubbish Times editors feature - baseless accusations without proof, malicious Big Lies.

Russia has well-documented video evidence of all its airstrikes, targeting terrorist forces and their infrastructure exclusively, scrupulously avoiding civilian sites and populations.

Longstanding US policy is polar opposite, civilians harmed most in all its wars. The Times conveniently ignored Obama’s blood-drenched record, his genocidal high crimes, his rape and pillage agenda, his responsibility for mass murder and destruction on an industrial scale, continuing with no letup.

As long as America’s war machine goes unchecked, endless violence, chaos and human suffering will continue - Russia’s commitment to world peace and stability the only chance to change things.

Don’t expect deplorable one-sided Times reporting to explain. It unswervingly supports what demands universal condemnation.
