Netanyahu Vows Stolen Syrian
Land to Remain Part of Israel

Rogue states never admit to wrongdoing, operating on the basis of might making right.

On Saturday, Netanyahu said any conflict resolution with Syria won’t include returning annexed Golan territory.

It “will always remain in Israel’s hands,” he blustered, never  returned to its rightful owner, one of numerous Israeli international law violations, a regional and global menace.

He’s concerned about reports indicating conflict resolution with Syria if achieved will affirm Golan as sovereign Syrian territory - saying it’s unacceptable to Israel.

The international community doesn’t recognize Israel’s 1981 annexation, after seizing the territory during its premeditated June 1967 Six Day War of aggression.

Israel, like Washington, wants Syria’s legitimate government toppled, replaced by Western controlled puppets, US and EU leaders silent about its Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese land seizures.

Netanyahu wants Israel having things its way, no matter how illegal, saying:

“It is time that the international community recognized reality (sic). What happens on the other side of the border, the border itself will not move.”

“(A)fter 50 years it is time that the international community realized that the Golan will remain under Israeli sovereignty.”

He lied claiming the territory was “an integral part of Israel in ancient times,” despite no evidence proving it other than meaningless biblical passages.

Netanyahu and other Israeli officials invent or reinvent history to justify unjustifiable actions - world leaders able to intervene responsibly ignore or support its most egregious high crimes.

Golan is not Israel’s ancient birthright as Netanyahu claims - anymore than stolen Palestinian or Lebanese land.

Separately, April 17 is Palestinian Prisoners Day, an annual commemoration since 1979, honoring thousands entrapped in Israel’s gulag for political reasons.

Freeing them remains a top priority. “Their struggle is central to the liberation of Palestinian land and the return of its people. It represents the frontline of peace and justice,” according to Addameer, the prisoner support and human rights group.

Appointed PA prime minister Rami Hamdallah observed the day by citing the record number of Palestinian children wrongfully imprisoned.

“The Israeli occupation has transformed our homeland into a large prison,” he said - failing to explain PA complicity in keeping it this way, its security forces serving Israeli interests, Palestinians systematically betrayed.

Hamdallah’s statement rang hollow, urging the international community to “protect the human rights of Palestinian prisoners and detainees, especially the children who are subject to psychological and physical harm” - despite PA officials doing nothing to help them.

Palestinians are imprisoned for not being Jews, for wanting fundamental rights affirmed under international law, for legitimately resisting lawless occupation.

“Israel's policies of detention and imprisonment violate all international legal standards, and are intended to obstruct the daily lives of Palestinians, in order to oppress an entire population,” said Hamdallah.

The PA is complicit in enforcing harshness, in betraying the people it’s sworn to serve.
