Dear Jeff Rense,

NEW YORK, N.Y., 11 June 2016?Known for his decades of groundbreaking trend forecasts and riveting, tell-it-like-is commentary on world events forming future trends, turns out Gerald Celente, a founding father of the art and science of forecasting trends, is also New York's Funniest Reporter.

Celente, the publisher of the Trends Journal and founder and director of the Trends Research Institute, won that distinction during the 11th Annual New York's Funniest Reporter Show Sunday night at the iconic Comic Strip Live comedy club in Manhattan. Ed Kalegi from The Ed Kalegi Radio Show and Michael P. Regan from Bloomberg Markets Live both tied for runner up, while Christine Harvey from New Living Magazine was the second runner up.

The event, produced by Goldman McCormick Public Relations benefited the Humane Society of New York, and sponsored by Todd Marlon Luxury Timepieces featured nine prominent media professionals each doing stand up comedy .

Celente, a  political atheist, took no prisoners. He "crushed the competition" with his improvised routine "The Greatest Freak Show on Earth," which took aim at the #Metoo movement, politicians, the broadcast media and more.

The annual show has featured over 60 media professionals through the years performing stand up comedy to raise money for charity. Participants have included media personalities from NBC, WPIX, Good Morning America, CBS, NY1, Fox News, Star Magazine, ABC, News 12, MSNBC, CNN, The Resident, New York Post, and New York Daily News.
