Bernie Sanders Cashes In Big

by Stephen Lendman
6-7-17

He’s more con man/capitalist pig than socialist, parlaying his high profile gained from last year’s presidential campaign for self-enrichment.

Judge him accordingly. His actions drown out his phony rhetoric. They’re the true measure of the man, along with decades of supporting undemocratic Democrat party politics, pretending to be progressive.

Sanders didn’t enter last year’s presidential race to win. He never had a chance. Hillary was anointed DNC nominee long before campaigning began.

In her mind, it was her turn. It was time for a woman to lead the country, and she designated herself most deserving - the DNC and supportive media suppressing her criminal past and present, a record only dark forces could love.

Sanders backed her all along, ignoring her pure evil, outrageously calling her most qualified to fix the economy and lead the nation - saying the undemocratic Democrat party platform was its “most progressive one” ever.

Hillary is a Wall Street/war-profiteers tool, Sanders likeminded, his progressive-sounding rhetoric pure deception.

He’s more opportunist than populist. His deplorable voting record exposed his dark side long ago - 98% of the time supporting dirty party policies, including endless wars of aggression.

Despite endorsing the most ruthlessly dangerous presidential aspirant in US history, he still managed to dupe millions of Americans to support him - a shocking indictment of public ignorance when it’s so easy to stay informed with minimal effort.

Sanders is a member of America’s 1%, the nation’s rich and powerful he railed against while campaigning.

According to his latest Senate financial disclosure information, he cashed in big from books (ghost-written) for him.

His “Our Revolution: A Future To Believe In” is the same mumbo jumbo rubbish he used while campaigning, saying one thing, doing another in Congress.

Supporting deep state policies pays well. He got a $795,000 advance, another $63,750 for his forthcoming “Bernie Sanders’ Guide to Political Revolution.”

Along with other royalties, he cashed in big - over $865,000 with more to come. Together with his Senate pay, he earned over $1,050,000 last year, along with owning three homes.

Maybe Hollywood intends a Bernie Sanders story film, staring him in the lead role for big bucks.

He’s part of America’s privileged class, loving it all the way to the bank, pretending to be progressive.

In April, he tweeted “(h)ow many yachts do billionaires need? How many cars do they need? Give us a break. You can’t have it all.”

He’s not giving back his share. His criticism of America’s rich is pure baloney.
